Description of Work: Terminix was contracted in February, 2009, to install termite eradication devices around the perimeter of our house. They always showed up when THEY wanted, usually three to four MONTHS ahead of the inspection time. Today, I did a little on-line search (because I thought it unusual, particularly since we have had such wet weather here in Houston,) about when the bait devices were to be "refreshed." Well, it would seem that every five (5) years or so, they need to be reinstalled/refreshed. I'm presently eight (8) into my original "dose" of termite bait, so I feel I've been paying over $300 for each of the last three years for nothing! There are presently four suggested bait chemicals recommended by most County Extension Services for termite control. They are: 1. "Advance" made by Whitmire-Micogen 2. "Exterra" made by Ensystex 3. "Firstline" made by FMC Corporation and 4. "Sentricon Colony Elimination System" made by Dow AgroSciences. Terminix has TERRIBLE reviews and I only wish I had read the information before contracting with them. Definately its a case of "Buyer Beware."

I HAVE AN ANNUALLY RENEWABLE CONTRACT WITH TERMINIX REGARDING TERMITES. SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE CONTRACT THEY HAVE TREATED MY HOME FOR TERMITES THREE TIMES. THEY'RE DEPENDABLE, POLITE AND THEIR PRODUCT WORKS.
