Terminix - Houston -Termite & Pest Control

We have used them for two years. They have helped us get rid of the termites. They have been consistent, punctual, and easy to get in touch with. They call before they come and are not intrusive. Their staff is well mannered. We have not had a problem with them. Their price was fine. They do a lot of work for what they charge.

They come during the day when we are not necessarily here. We have some complaints with them. They come and spray and we really don't know what is going on. We never really know when they come. We never get a phone call from them to schedule the work or ask if we wanted to get the inside sprayed as well. I just wish that the communication with them could be better. You wouldn't see a single live insect in your house, and if you did, they would either be dead or starting to die. We had an incident when they had just sprayed and we had several of those big tree roaches come out of the woodwork and I was terrified. I called them and their customer service lady laughed at me. She wasn't very helpful at all. I told her that I have this phobia of roaches and if this was their guarantee, then we probably wouldn't use the company. I told her that we wanted a refund for the service we had and wanted to look at the possibility of canceling our service and wanted to speak to the manager at the local branch. They ended up canceling our service right away and we never heard from anybody. I went to their local branch office to speak to the manager directly and then they got it taken care of but it was not a pleasant experience. We ended up continuing with them and haven't had the same kind of problem since, but that incident was a nightmare. My husband wanted to stay with them and give them another chance but I wouldn't mind looking into other companies to see what they offer.

I have a quarterly service and they come out quarterly. I have bought their service separate for another house too. They are reasonably priced. They are less expensive than what my son is paying for the same service. I got their service on a referral, and it works for me.

Their system didn’t work for things that were stuck in the ground. People who think that they are protected against termites are not. Terminix is not being forthcoming about that and it’s only when you have them out, you know it’s a failed system. That would have been nice to know. We wouldn’t have had termite mounds in our walls because we thought we were protected. We were a little upset about that. We bought the house five years ago and the previous owner had put it in. We thought we were good for five years but we are not. The new termite treatment that Terminix does is fine and spontaneous. It’s only good for a year and it doesn’t have the five year warranty. They have to come back and do it again. I was not aware of that. Their price was comparable. I would use their services again in the future.

We have a yearly contract with them. Their pricing is reasonable. Their work is good and I don't see any bugs at home. I once saw some ants in the driveway and I called them and they were out the next day and took care of the problem.

They are very helpful and nice. They come out on time and they do what they say. I will use them in the future.

We pay an annual fee. They came out as many times as we needed to take care of it. We haven't had anymore problems. We live in the woods and have a lot of woods, so we were worried about termites. Terminix was able to provide that portion of pest control that another company couldn't provide at a decent price. We didn't have termites, but Terminix came out and checked. I liked that since we had an annual contract it didn't cost us any extra for them to take care of the ticks.

It goes very well. So far they've done a very fine job.

They've done their job and we have no termites.

We have been using them for about 20 years. We don?t use them anymore because they are outrageously expensive. They didn?t do anything for us except for the initial poisoning. After that they just came every year and inspected. We did not like them. They didn?t meet their appointments.

In the middle of a large remodeling project, we discovered a termite infestation that threatened the project timeline. Terminix responded early the morning after I called to look at the damage and measure the property for treatment. While I was a bit shocked at the price, the procedure was explained very professionally and service was promised for the very next day which would allow my remodeling project to continue with just a slight delay. The treatment was accomplished on schedule as promised, and carries a nice warranty and follow-up visit in 9 months. Overall I was very happy with them, but would have been a lot happier with a 10-15% lower rate.

We are not very pleased with their services. They are prompt in getting us the bills but they are not prompt in coming out to our home. We have asked them to be aggressive but they aren't and we don't feel that they do a better job than anyone else.

They were very difficult to deal with. I cant recommend them to anybody.

We stopped using them, not because we considered them unsatisfactory, but because we didn't want to pay for them anymore. We thought they had gotten unreasonably expensive for what they were offering.

We have just moved in so we have just finished using them. They used to treat the whole house for ants every time they came. It was a company that our clients owned. Then they sold the company to Terminix. The quarter before Terminix took over; we were paying $60 for each visit. They were good. They would treat the outside if we were not at home. If we were at home, they would treat the inside, too, if we wanted them to. They were pretty good about whatever we wanted them to do. We were on a schedule and they would remind us by e-mail or telephone call about the visits.

They were very effective. They were really responsive the first time they came out. However, I had a little trouble getting them to come back, when I needed a little more service; they had promised to come back. Overall, I appreciated the fact that they got rid off the pests. I pay $194 per quarter for their services. I?ll use them again in the future.

They come every three months and charge by the visit. I think we can pay a year in advance, and that way the price would be a little less. I would start looking for something cheaper because Terminix charges a very high price. I have heard of others that charge less. Our experience with them has been very good, though. If we have problems in between visits they would come back for free and do whatever they need to do.

They came out several years ago for termites but they had to come back recently because the termites came back. They did a good job but it is disappointing when you pay them to bait the traps and not get termites but you get termites anyway.

Since no one will call me, this is at a dead end.

The workers at Terminix did a good job. The only complaint I have is that they are a little pricey. They were polite and courteous and they did everything that they promised. They were responsive and punctual.

Lately I have had them just spray the outside of my house. When they are going to come over they usually send a card or an e-mail. I have had them for a few years and have been satisfied with their work so far.

It seems like they have done a good job. They came out on time and use products that seemed appropriate. They were responsive to me and acted professionally.

They show up right on schedule without me having to call them. The technicians are easy to work with. They answer any questions I have. I have been seeing good results since I started using them. I have been using them for about 10 years and haven't had any problems with them.

The inspector arrived a little early which was great. Inspected the property inside and out and explained what he was looking to find. The inspector was polite and courteous and very well educated in termites.

I am pleased with their work. I always get the came technician every time and he will answer any question I have. They send a post card a week ahead of time to announce the date they'll be here. I have a terminix insurance plan with them.
