This handyman was very hard to schedule with. When we couldn't do the exact day he wanted, he complained. Says he does free estimates but complained about driving out from Katy to give us a free estimate. So we didn't want to deal with him.

Strong winds blew down one side of our backyard fence. I called Troy and he was very quick to respond. He came to the house and gave me a very reasonable estimate. The next day I accepted his estimate and asked when he could come and repair the fence and he said he could have it finished that day. Good to his word, he was finished by 3 p.m. and the fence is very sturdy and professional looking ... this part of the fence isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Prompt - arrived when he said he would. In fact, was on location dong some prep work. Courteous and good attention to detail. Finished ahead of schedule. Good work. Replaced some missing/rotted 2x4's without charge.

Troy did a great job with the job and we are very happy with a cat free yard. He is great to work with it and has a very creative mind.

Excellent job by Troy and David. They not only braced and nailed the joists together but they bolted the wood together with large bolts. Added an electrical line and three new shop lights. Plus, Troy repaired a sheet of HardiePlank siding that had pulled away from the back of the garage. Very pleased with the work and price and will definitely hire Troy again.

Troy and David arrived exactly at 7:30 AM Friday,as Troy promised, and completed all repairs by 3:30 PM. Troy arrived promptly, at 8:30 AM Saturday, as promised and painted. They focused on the repairs and wasted no time.

Troy was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and within a day had come out to review needed work. Received quote a couple days later. Price was reasonable although I was able to negotiate a few percent off of the original bid. As a side note, had already been getting quotes for similar work and Troy came in comparable to the lowest quote I had so far, so I was comfortable with the price. Troy and crew showed up a couple days after that and began work. Started on Friday morning and had work completed to my satisfaction by Sunday noon. Yes they did come out on the weekend, no added charge. Troy stuck around to tweak out any mistakes, i.e. overspray, missed spots, etc. Final work was very nice overall.

Excellent!!! Troy arrived before 7:45 AM because that was when I got up and he was already unloading his gear and setting up. He recommended pressure washing the pergola before painting it so the paint would stick better. He removed everything from the patio out into the yard so paint didnt spatter on it and was very careful with everything. He applied 2 coats of paint, put everything back as it was and even pressure washed my patio concrete for me without me asking. He worked efficiently and professionally and completed everything before 4 PM. He also repaired the gate to my backyard. I will be using him again as I have asked him to do some baseboards on my stairs. HE IS AMAZING!!

Troy was quick to answer the initial email and come out and give a quote. He showed up when he said he would and he finished ahead of schedule.

Troy came out, analyzed the work that needed to be done, and provided a fair, reasonable estimate. He showed up for the job on time, completed all of the work that needed to be done, and did all of the clean-up. Supporting the fence was straightforward, and he efficiently dug the holes and poured the concrete for the new supports. The decking was more of a challenge, as the foundation boards were found to be rotting, and Troy came up with a creative solution by removing the rotted boards, and installing bridge boards to the foundation to better secure the decking. He then replaced the decking....and everything looks great. Troy is very personable, professional, and easy to work with. He works quickly and efficiently. All in all, a great experience.....and I would definitely hire again.

I was so impressed. So the fence - yes, it's perfect, no spacing between the pickets, and everything is totally flush with the ground, which they leveled and they sealed off every hole to the outside. But the chicken run attached to the fence was really a piece of art. I asked for a chicken enclosure like a kennel that attached to the fence that was totally impenetrable. Troy and helper used 2x4s to create a really nice design which had poultry netting and the cutest little door with ornate black hinges and latch close to walk in and out. I just love it. I wish I'd done it years ago. The fence was not trivial either. They had to cut pieces to fit around a tree that was hanging over it, and they did a really nice job. They also leveled the fence towards the end to slope downwards to the street, getting progressively shorter. He said he takes a lot of pride in his work and you can certainly tell. We're looking forward to hiring him again to build a tree house when we can afford it. He is just so good with design. Highly recommended! The cost (cedar pickets and posts) was $1700 and $525 for a walk-in large attached chicken coop.

He had the lowest bid and completed the job in the time allotment that he quoted in his proposal. He removed the old fence and hauled away all the garbage and old fence materials. I was very pleased with the quality of work and my fence looks great! Troy was very straightforward and he answered all my questions in a courteous and prompt manner.

The job went very well. He did excellent work, was on time, cleaned up and removed all scraps and trash. Troy completed all work within his original estimate. We plan to have him do future work.

I e-mailed a request for estimates from several of the top rated fence companies on Angie's List for a small project. Troy responded quickly and had the lowest bid (by a substantial amount). He was quick with an estimate, came out to verify the estimate and then scheduled the work around our schedule. We needed a custom gate in the backyard to create a dog run. He came out and built a custom wood gate that perfectly fit our needs, he used good materials, did quality work in a timely fashion. I was very happy with the work, so I asked him to look at another issue on my house. Instead of giving me a bid to fix it, he recommended a low cost do-it-yourself option. I recently recommended him to my 80 year old mother for work on her house.

Troy is very good at what he does. Quick and fair estimate, came out the next day. We had the job scheduled and completed within a week of the initial request. Communicated when needed during the project for guidance. We and our dogs are very happy with the new deck we have on the side of our townhouse!

Project went great. Troy was prompt and professional. He was able to start right away and got the job done quickly. Removed old gutters and replaced rotten wood underneath. Painted these new areas and the paint matches very well. Will definitely hire him again for any future projects around the house.
