I tried to call them once and they never returned my call. I left a message.

Troy did minor repairs to my home, because I plan to put in on the market.. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and were very professional. Troy, the owner was on site during the entire job. I am completely satisfied with the services he provided, and won't hesitate to use him again.

Excellent Service. I am already planning to use again. Was very flexible in taking care of a number of handyman duties as well as window and sheetrock repairs. Solid People.

Troy is a personable, hard working man and job went smoothly.

They gave a fair estimate, I agreed on the work to be done. They actually came the evening before the work was scheduled to begin, in order to have all supplies ready for the next days work. They showed up at the break of dawn, had everything ready to go. Old fence was taken down and the new one was put up and finished by the end of the day. We are so pleased with the sturdiness of the fence, as well as the beauty. We would use them again and do tell others about this company.

We weren’t happy with him. They had high ratings in Angie’s List. We went through the list and we settled to this guy and he just was awful. I called him and he told me that he was too busy to talk to me now and in other words he wanted my husband to call him back. My husband called him then he had to call my husband back but he never did. I called him after two months and he just treated me like and told me to tell my husband call me back as he wanted to deal with my husband. I didn’t appreciate that too. He didn’t give an estimate and I think that he wasn’t interested at all. He said that he would call us to set up a date to come out and he never returned my husband’s call. We never heard back from him. We weren’t happy with him at all. The guy didn’t call us even after two months and he just terribly blew us off. He just told me to call him back with a better explanation and I had already given the same explanation that my husband gave him later. He told him exactly the scope of the job that we wanted to be done and the general layout of the house. He also told him where we needed the stuff to be done. I didn’t have any problem if he could have told us directly that it was too small job for him or if it was too far for him to come but he wasn’t honest.

Troy came over the day after I called and replaced the light fixture that had gone bad and replaced the bathroom light and fan over the shower. I provided all the parts. He did an excellent job and at a really affordable price. I could not have been happier and will definitely call on Troy again in the future.

I was really very happy. They were very professional. They were there on time. They cleaned up after themselves really well each day. They came back three times to get all that done, just to make sure that some things could dry. My step-dad was on oxygen at that time, so they were very cautious. They made sure they closed the door and opened the windows.

I have a rental property that needed some repairs which included foundation, interior, and exterior work. After some research on my own and getting several estimates for the jobs, I decided to try Angie's list and was very please with the results. In reviewing many of the contractors on Angie's List, I decided on T&E Home Improvement based on customer satisfaction reports. I gave Troy a call and he answered promptly. I told Troy what I needed and we established a date and time for us to meet for an estimate of work. Troy on our first meeting was very open, honest, and recommended alternative to what I needed in order to lower cost. Troy and I determine when it was feasible to start his work since I was also having foundation work done by another company. Troy started working on things that were not affected by the foundation repair and after the foundation work was completed Troy completed the rest of the work within a week time. After completing the work on the rental property and being impressed with the finish product , I asked him to take a look at my resident which needed a touch up. Troy arrived promptly to evaluate the work that my wife needed and we determine a price. The next day Troy was working and completed the work expeditiously in 5 days. I highly recommend T&E Improvement and will use Troy again. As a matter of fact, I have another rental for him to look at after the new year. Get your rest Troy.

Troy came out the day after we phoned to provide an estimate. He was able to schedule our work much sooner than we had expected, the next day in fact, which was of huge help to us. He is extremely professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. He offered us several design choices as we were discussing the appropriate gates and fencing for our dogs. He and his crew were prompt, careful, and cleaned up all debris from the job. Our new fence is beautiful, strong, and secure for our family. He was fantastic and we will call him again when we need other work done!

They are really fair and pretty fast in what they do. They are there when I need them. I will use them in future.

Basically he's done a lot of miscellaneous things for me. When I can afford to do some other things done I'm sure I'll call him.

I heard from Troy quickly. Once we agreed on the work to be done he finished it quickly. Excellent work. Very reasonable price. I found the right guy and I'll call him again when I have handyman work to be done.

The quality of the work he completed was very good. The hallway is very nice, as are the storage units, and the porch. He was not afraid of offering suggestions on how to make things look a bit nicer, and all of the suggestions worked out well. He is also amiable and respectful of the people he is working for and the neighbors, making sure he does not block anyone in or move over into their property. We are in a very crowded neighborhood, so this was appreciated. He also worked very long hours to get the job done quickly. We did not ask him to do this, but it showed his dedication to building his company. The reason I gave him a B, actually, is because he did not finish part of the job on the storage. We asked for a lattice to be installed on the storage unit to give the deck area some privacy. This was not finished. and he said he would come back the following week. He made an appointment, but then he never showed, even though we tried calling him again. We were disappointed that he did not finish this small part of the job or follow up with us. We are happy with what he completed, but we are looking for more reliability in someone we would use consistently. ] Also, some of our patio items seemed to have been thrown out while the crew was cleaning up. They did a great job cleaning up after their work, which in my experience is not always common with big jobs like this. This was disappointing because, although small, they were not easy to replace or inexpensive. So, I guess the lesson I learned here is to pull out any special items in advance and put them aside.

He came over gave and estimate that I agreed to. I promised to buy all material. He would supply labor. He was to start sometime in the last week of August. Never heard from him again.

Troy was very responsive. He was punctual and professional. Even though he needed to be in and out of the house frequently, he still took his shoes off when he came back in our house. Since the job involved painting, he had to come by a couple of times. He was courteous. The whole job was completed to our satisfaction. We would definitely use them again.

Troy was receptive to my requests to include my design details (I'm a detail person) and we discussed his details and selected the best approach. We did this on several aspects of the job. I've had other contractors who's ego resents the owner's input to the project. This was not the case with Troy. I have some rotten wood on the side of the house which he will most likely replace if I continue to run out of time. I would recommend Troy and will use him again.

Everything went well. I was very pleased with the job and would definitely hire him again. He was very responsive to my initial phone call, and set up a time to come look at the job and provide an estimate. He showed up on time, and the estimate was reasonable for what I needed done. He came back to do the job and was timely and cleaned up everything. He was careful in removing the old trim boards to keep from cracking the existing hardi siding, and put the new trim boards up in a workmanlike manner. I provided the hardiplank and paint and he provided the labor and expertise. The pressure wash job made the house look great, and the entire job wasn't easy to do because it was all second story work. Everything was well done.

After the final trap was removed and giving the attic a couple of more days to become alive with noise of scurrying feet, all quite I contacted T&E and confirmed my acceptance to the estimate and was amazed that the work could be started on the following day and it was his estimate that all work would be completed the same day's evening. He and his crew arrived at 7 am as agreed and started into the first two jobs the replacement of the eve and a complete restoration of the front window wood work, they then moved on to the replacement of a box window off my master bath and finally the wood frame around my garage. They work as a very efficient team and as promised were finished by 4 pm and to my complete satisfaction. I have no negative experiances and highly recommend T&E to everyone. I certainly will be using them again!

Troy was able to get to my fence alteration quickly. He gave me an estimate over the phone and stuck with it. He made an appointment with me to do the work and even called to say he would be 30 minutes late. He was polite, listened to what I wanted, and got the job done! I really liked him and his work! He will be hearing from me again!

In early April I called for an estimate on small home repairs (recaulking along the kitchen granite, repair of cracks along 3 flights of stairs, replacing the door sweep seals on 2 exterior doors. hanging some photos/hardware along the house)... all in all about a days work. Initially I had to call twice to get a response. At which time we scheduled a time for Troy to come out. He never showed, and when I called to inquire, he apologized greatly saying he had a dental emergency, which I completely understand. We rescheduled, he came out and handed me a reasonable estimate and I said I would get in touch to schedule a date for the work to be done. I took 2 weeks to compare a couple other companies. When I called back, towards the end of April, he said he couldn't get to me until mid to late May and that he had some big jobs come up. I asked if I could just be put down in the books so that we had a date set and he said no that he would call me when he had room. He called.....the second week of May, and I was away on vacation in a locale where I didn't have cell service. I returned his call the Monday of 16th and left a voice message. I did not get a call back. Then I called again last week and still nothing. I called today and finally spoke with Troy. He informed me that he is still busy and that he couldn't get me in. I clarified that he had no time for me and he told me that "small jobs don't make money and this is business, and if (I) didn't understand business, than, well...." He said he was trying to run and grow his business and he would be "dumb to pass up the big paying jobs". I explained that I do know business (and as a small business owner, I do. I also understand that customer service and professionalism should be core values of ANY business, even if you cannot service your inquiring customer). He said he could get one of his guys to come out there and make it happen but it would take him a bit. I told him, no, thank you and that I understand that small jobs do not make money. I also understand that doing a small job well can lead to more customers and quality interaction. T&E Home Improvements does not get a good score from me. Which is disappointing, because there are so many other terrific reviews. And I really just wanted someone reliable and professional to perform work on my home.

He was professional, prompt and completed the project on time. I was completely satisfied with the work. I would use Troy again.

Troy and I conversed on Wednesday and set the date for installation for Saturday. Troy arrived on time and with all the necessary supplies. He was very nice and very patient. We had all of the light fixtures in our entrance-way, kitchen, dining room and baths replaced. During the time that Troy was installing the last light fixtures he noticed that it was bent and even gave us time to run over to Homedepot to replace the fixture. We appreciate his patience and time. I would highly recommend him for other jobs.
