Did not call me back right away...had to call him back after about a week. After that, he got right to work and did a great job.

This guy is awesome. Great price, very responsive, quick, and did great work. Will never call another handyman again.

He did a great job on the fence and cleaned up thoroughly after he finished. He was onsite with his two workers everyday. He answered any questions we had.

Excellent job. I called Troy on the weekend. He came and looked at the job on Sunday, started work on Monday and finished on Tuesday. This was a big job. He and his helper demolished a room that had been built in the garage of a house I had just purchased. They removed a window and an AC unit, then repaired the holes left on both the inside (drywall, paint) and the outside (cedar siding, caulk, paint). They pressure washed the outside and replaced some siding that had rotted. They also installed a new door and door frame, removed carpet & pad, electrical outlets, and installed peg board on the interior side walls. He also hauled off some furniture for me. The quality of the work was very good and the price was very reasonable. They were polite, knowledgable, and tidy. I will call him again.

These guys are awesome. Everything went very well. After contacting Troy, he came right over to see the project and emailed me a quote that evening. The quote was satisfactory to us, so we contacted him to get a start date. He started the next day (soon as I got garage cleaned out), and was done in three days. He and his crew showed up on time, they were very professional and courteous, they cleaned up the site completely and hauled all the trash away. They did an exceptional job! I can't believe it is the same place. He did exactly what I asked and I would definately hire him again to do any other projects in the future. I love my garage - it is not a dark cave anymore.

Troy was extremely competitive on his bid and very prompt. He had help on the job. Unfortunately, they weren't very good and when I told him that I wasn't happy with their job, he came right back out and at my convenience corrected their mistakes. The helpers didn't sand the wooden doors smooth before they varnished them. When he came out, Troy corrected that by resanding them and revarnishing them. THey look great now. I've dealt with a LOT of workers over the years on my house, many of whom I wouldn't ask back to work ever. I was very impressed with Troy. I'd certainly hire him again for a job, although I think I'd take a closer look at what his employees are doing. He's clearly someone who is trying to expand his business and is having the same problem a lot of them do...finding good workers. Certainly, I'd recommend him again. It really hurt me to give him a B rating, because I think if he'd done the job all by himself, it would have taken longer but it wouldn't have had to be done over. OTOH, to get an A, it should be right the first time. I should mention that it was very dark by the time the varnishing was finished so the light wasn't good enough to see the bumpiness, and we really couldn't touch it for several days until it had completely dried, so that's why no one realized they hadn't been sanded right initially.

It went well. They knew what they were doing.

The guy from T & E Home Improvements was very good; he was on time and he kept his word about the pricing.

Contacted Troy he came over within 2 hours to give us an estimate, the work was completed within one day, we were very pleased with every aspect of the job - fast, reasonable rates, cleaned up, just a professional job in every way.

Overall, Troy is pleasant, punctual and maintained good communication until he came out to do job.

Very happy with the finished product - exactly as we pictured. Troy is a very knowledgable, versatile and likable guy who is very prompt, professional and efficient. My only complaint would be the lack of cleanup - sawdust and screws were left all over the ground. However, Troy does solid, dependable work and we'd definitely use him again.

Troy showed up at the appointed time with the replacement door and he went to work. After a few minutes he told me he had measured the door incorrectly. He said he would have to take that one back and get a different one. He called me a while later and told me the door I needed was a special order and would take three weeks. I asked him to get the price for the special order door. He said he would. He then said he would try one other place to find the right size door and call me back and let me know if he could find it.

Troy was extremely punctual and very professional. He repaired everything required and was helpful to me in making decisions. I will definitely use him next time I need handy work and will recommend to all my friends.

Excellent!!! Accepted his estimate. He told us the date and time when he could begin. Showed-up on time, ready to work, with materials already puirchased. Decked our attic area over our garage. Cleaned-up and hauled away project debris. Done deal. Happy homeowner!!! End of story.

Troy was very responsive. He worked through the details with us and helped us through the proces of building a new structure in the back yard. We had to put new concrete down and he waited on us while we found someone to put down the concrete so he could come back and put the shed on the pad that we had put down. We also wanted to replace some fence that was rotting, and he got about a 30 foot section of fence replaced in just one day. He worked very hard to get it all finished in one day because we have dogs and he realized that we needed to have a safe place to let them out in the evening. Once the concrete pad was down, Troy came back and put up the new shed very quickly. He did everything exactly the way we wanted him to do it and he was very professional. He had to wait while we had a tree branch removed so he could finish the roof of the structure. He was patient while we had the tree service come out and give us an estimate and then come and remove the limb. He did puhs us a bit to get some resolution, but he obviously has other customers so we understood that he needed to get our proejct done and move on. It took quite a bit of time from start to finish especially since we had to get another person out to do all of the concrete work. I would definitely use Troy again. The shed turned out perfect.

Troy came the same day I called to look at the work and gave me an estimate for replacing the fencing and hauling away debris. His quote was reasonable compared to another quote I recieved so I called him back to schedule the job. He was able to fit me in the next day and arrived promptly, even early. He began work immediately and was neat and careful in his approach. When I arrived home after work I found the fence complete and well constructed, the area clean and tidy and he even raked away leaves and debris between the fence and my neigbors garage. It looked great and I was very happy. He also made some minor adjustments on another fence gate that wouldn't swing properly on the hinges. I would use Troy again.

NOt well. The first time he came, it was terrific. This last time, he arrived with a spanish speaking person and then told me he would be leaving. I questioned this and he said that the man knew everything he did. Uh huh. I asked him to install a ceiling fan and he did do it but had never done it before. THen, and I forget what it was but the man said he could not do it. Mr Jenkins came back and got upset with me because I had the temerity to want someone who actually knew how to do the work I was asking to have done. He said he was trying to grow his business and I had wasted his time and etc. The most embarassing part was that he insisted on speaking badly fractured Spanish to the man. I mean the kind where people add an "o" to the end of a word! Seriously. I have found in HOuston too many Handymen who think they are contractors and SO do not know how to do this. It is a fault with the licensing here in Texas I suppose. But no, I do not recommend him.

I called on Monday and talked to Troy and stated that needed some drywall repairs and painting. He stated he was pretty busy and would try to call me back on or around Thursday. That seemed pretty strange to me...he could at least have set a time to come out and give me an estimate...but I said okay and waited until Thursday. Well, it came and went and three days later he still has not contacted me. Guess I'll move on to another company as I'm needing the repairs done soon.

Troy came and provided a quote. He patiently wanted the several weeks it took to get architectural approval form our HOA.. Once approved, he scheduled the work, came promptly when planned and finished on schedule. He carefully remoed all debris and left the area neat and clean.

I called to have a fence rebuilt on one side of my yard. Troy met me the next day (on a Saturday) to look over the job and give me an estimate. The job was postponed for a few days because of rain, but as soon as it dryed up, they got the fence done in one day. They returned the following day to finish up some details on the gates and to clean up the jobsite. The quality of the fence is excellent. They used three rails, plus a 2x6 rot board at the bottom. The top of the rotboard is beveled so it looks better and water won't sit on top of it. The pickets are all of good quality and installed straight. The gates are solid and fit well with no sagging. The gate hardware is good quality and installed perfectly. Overall I am very impressed with the job that was done and plan to have Troy do some siding work in the near future.

I have used them for four years. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Mr. Jenkins made himself available to do a job walkdown so he could provide me with an estimate. He was able to perform this walkdown withon 48 hours of me initially contacting him. He was on time and kept me informed of when he would be at my residence, and was at my house within 15 minutes of our agreed time. He was very polite and was interested in my work, considering it was not all that interesting. He expressed that he was interested in all types of work and asked me lits of questions during the walk through to make sure we had a cleare scope that he could price. His quote broke down who was supplying materials, and what it would cost if I were to have his crew paint versus me painting myself. His quote was itemized and easy to follow. And the total cost was very reasonable for the variety of work. He asked when he could do the work, and we agreed to do it the following Monday. Later that evening I realized the following Monday would not be convenient and requested of Mr. Jenkins a proposed alternative time. He said he could do it the same Thursday and Friday, We agreed to this and I was thankful he was able to be flexible with my and my wife's needs given our twins and dog and wife's work schedule (work from home). His crew did a thorough job of cleaning up after their first day of work. No surprises and he contacted me during the day to inform me of another crack in garage. I asked him to repair. I appreciated his honesty to ask before acting. The second day he was on time with his crew, and they continued with the exterior paiting and minor drywall repairs inside. They took their time to put protective paper/drop cloths/etc to keep spackling and paint off of our belongings. They did a great job of finishing their work, and were respectful of our house and kids nap time and dog. They cleaned up well after they were done. Throughout the day he called to inform me of other minor cracks he found and asked if I would like for him to address them. These were beyond original scope and I am glad he communicated them to me prior to acting. At the end of the job we compared the quote to actual scope and adders, and settled at ~$50 above original scope. He was very polite, very professional, and his crew were as well. I would certainly hire T&E in the future and would recommend them to anyone who wants a polite, professional, honest, personable, and high quality worker(s) to do some home repairs.
