Specialist Tree Service

Quote was provided on Saturday and schedule for completion the following Monday. Crew began approximately 11am and completed the project about 2pm. The where prepared, professional, and cleaned up all debris after trimming three 30 ft tall pecan trees and removing one dead oak tree. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely use them again for any future services.

Henry was responsive to my call, arranged to meet me at my house for an estimate the next day. He arrived on time, gave me a good price, but was not the low bidder.

Company representative came out and provided estimate the day after I called for appointment. Representative examined trees to be removed and pointed out additional dead trees requiring removal. An estimate was provided and work was scheduled for the following week. Crew arrived promptly and completed job in a timely manner. Crew was very careful in the take down of the trees and picked up every bit of debris resulting from the take down and trimming; there was no damage to other trees, shrubs, lawn, etc. All aspects of the work were handled in a professional manner. I was very pleased start to finish.

I called and spoke to one of the owners around 10am. Within twenty minutes he was at my house looking at the tree and giving me an estimate. He came down on his price because he was in the neighborhood and could do the work that same afternoon. It rained that afternoon and he called to re-schedule but around 5 was able to start and complete the work as promised.

They came out the very next day after I called and gave me an estimate. Since they were in the area we haggled the price down from $650 to $550. The following day they came out and did all the work, very clean and professional job. They followed my instructions to the letter, I would definitely use them again.

Good. They had a bunch of people working and took the many huge limbs to a chopper they had on their truck that ground up the trees so that the yard was left pretty clean. They did break some plants but my husband told them about it and they tried not to do any more damage.

The came and gave a quote to remove some pines that dies during the drought and trim an oak. The gave me a good price, and after i waivered about getting more quotes they gave me a better price if they could do it the next day. I took them up on it, they came and did the job well, and they said they would send me a receipt in the mail for the work done, that I never received. That is why I rated the professionalism poorly.

They were very good. They were very efficient and did an excellent job. They cleaned everything up before they left and left nothing in the yard. I was very happy with them. Their price was high. I would absolutely use them again.

Henry came out within 2 days to bid the job and then came out the next day to complete the work. He was early and left the yard clean. I am super pleased with his work and value!

The job went well. The crew arrived bright and early on the day following the estimate and began work on the tree. They had to stop in the afternoon due to a rainstorm and came back the next day to finish the job. They were clean and neat and left my yard in good shape. I would use them again.

Competitive price, prompt service, great cleanup. Henry, the owner, recommended saving one of the live oak trees that I had originally planned to remove. His suggestion worked well - they trimmed the tree (including the canopy) and it now looks great! In addition, when Henry arrived to quote the job, he had his insurance liability paper on hand to give me. The tree cutting crew arrived about a 1/2 hour after Henry gave us the quote (they were already in our neighborhood) and finished up promptly the next day. His crew also used the mulch from the tree cutting and asked us if we wanted the mulch placed in our garden, which they ended up doing for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommned them to friends and will use them again to trim our trees.

Henry, one of the owners, came out at the appointed time and gave me a competitive bid. (Another Angie's List tree service had given me an almost identical bid, but alter talking with Henry, I felt more confident that his crew would do the job right. Also, the other company could not do the job until "late next week".) Henry's crew of 5 came, as scheduled, the next morning and promptly got busy. The crew was well trained and well coordinated. I appreciate that they were careful to cut the limbs properly, to promote rapid healing of the wounds, as I had done myself for 30 years until the tree got too big for me. I appreciate the care they took to protect my property. For example, some of the limbs overhung the roof of my one story home. One man got on the roof to make sure that none of the limbs being cut, by another man in the tree, fell on my roof. He tossed the limbs to the ground without any of them ever touching my roof. He also used a blower to remove all of the sawdust debris from my roof, leaving it spotless. Men on the ground gathered and stacked the limbs in huge piles as they were being cut from the tree. Then, they fed it all into a huge chopper that sent it all into the back of a big truck. After that, they used blowers and rakes to clean all of the debris from my front yard and street in front of my house. In just over an hour they were finished! I couldn't believe they could do so much so fast! My tree looked wonderful and they left my yard cleaner than it was before they came! I am completely satisfied with the quality job that Specialist Tree Service did for me!

Everything was great, I was very pleased. I called them, they came over that day or the next day, which was great considering it was right after Hurricane Ike. They walked through everything with us, then came back a day or two later and cut the trees down. They were quick and efficient. Ran the trees through a gigantic chipper and left me the mulch. I was very happy with their work.

I probably spent between 300 and 500 dollars. I really didn't have a whole lot of interaction with them. They just came in and did the job. The owner or whoever runs it would call me back. They were very prompt in calling me back and getting it done. They were very professional toward me and my home. I definitely would use them again in the future if needed.

They showed up on time. Even though it was raining, they let us know that they would be back as soon as the rain stopped. They did exactly what they said they were going to do.

His crew trimmed very efficently and left the premises tidy

I received a letter from my HOA telling me to trim my trees as they were touching my roof. I called Specialist Tree Service and they went to my house and called me with an estimate within a couple of hours. When I arrived home from work that day a crew of about 6-7 were busy on my trees. They absolutely knew what they were doing and completed the job in a very professional and timely manner. When they were finished they picked up every twig and leaf so that my lawn was completely clean when they left. My trees are beautiful. I will definitely use them again.

Henry came out exactly on time for the estimate, price not cheap but I thought fair for the work needed plus he knew what he was talking about. Crew came out next day and did all the work with no fuss, cleared everything away and were very professional and polite. Will use this company again.

They came within a couple of days and they did a great job. The trees look good and they took the dead wood off them. They brought a wood chipper and chipped not only the wood that they trimmed but also the pile of tree limbs stacked in front of the yard. They raked the yard and my yard looked very good compared to other houses. They impressed me. They did a professional job and a complete job.

Specialst Tree Services was performing work in the neighborhood. I found them in Angie's list and their BBB rating. Based on those ratings I gave them a call. As promised the estimator arrived within the hour and gave me an estimate based upon the work I described. The cost seemed about right. They were about to complete work a few blocks away and said they would be able to start my work in about four hours (about 3 pm). I awarded the work. They arrived about 20 minutes later than promised with a crew of five and completed the work in about three hours. Then workers were efficient, very careful of the surroundings, courteous and cleaned the property s*** and span.

I called 3 other companies but Hernan returned my call right away and came over to give me an estimate. He was very persistent and truly wanted to the do the job. The price was much less than we had expected because the tree was very old and big! So, we hired him. He came over with his crew and they had the tree down and disposed of in about 1 hour.

The company arrived in a very timely matter and when promised. They were polite and professional in their demeanor. They worked quickly and efficiently but did not ignore safety. I was very impressed with them from start to finish and would recommend them to any and everyone requiring any type of tree service. A job well done.

Wow! Specialist was so fast and professional!! They amazed the street with a one of the pines down in 35 minutes! It was a show that even the neighbors enjoyed! They had a 5-7 man crew that had obviously worked for a long time together. They cut, removed and drug all limbs, etc. to the road and then chipped it. They spent 2 hours the first day and the entire day the next. They were prompt, fully insured and did a great job with the difficult tree. They lowered pieces down by rope and didn't damage anything (fence, metal roof, etc.)! Excellent job!
