Kevin and Freddie showed up first thing in the morning and went to work. Kevin asked questions about grout color and they proceeded. They both worked steadily and finished about 3:30PM. They asked us to take a look at the work and final job, did some touchup, and they were off. The job looks really good, this bath and shower have not looked this good in years. We had tried every product on the market and steam clean, all to no avail. Kevin got it done. The price was a little higher than what we had budgeted, but we feel we definitely got our moneys worth.

They were 40 minutes late to the estimate appointment. I signed up anyway. Day of the job they cancelled 50 minutes prior, requesting a reschedule. I agreed. Today was the reschedule. They no-showed again. When I called to find out what happened, they said I wasn't on the schedule. Instead, they had me down for some random day later this week, one we never discussed. I'm shopping for a new company today.

When the quote came out to be a bit higher than what I was planning to spend ($1,700 total for work on entryway, master shower, and master bath floor and countertops), I very politley and professionally requested another quote with a modified scope of work to focus only on the most immediate areas of concern. And waited. And waited. And waited. Finally after a few weeks of no response, I followed up and to my surprise got a response back almost straight away. The estimator said that he would prepare another quote but it might take him a few more days because they were very busy. So I said, great, looking forward to it. And waited. And waited. And waited. It's not been over a month and still no modified quote. Doesn't seem like they want / need my business. This is too bad becuase when the guy came out to look at the place and do an esimate, he certainly sounded like he knew what he was doing, was punctual, and acted professionally, and I really wanted to give this company a chance. I supposed I can understand that companies get busy, but to basically turn customers away by not responding is flaggerbasting. And I wasn't going to spend $50 either, maybe they are used to larger/higher margin jobs, but to me an over $1,000 loss of revenue just because you couldn't work with me to modify the scope of the project seems like an untrivial loss for a business like this, so I am scratching my head as to what happend here.

We have a fairly large house that is predominately tile. Reuben, the technician from Sir Grout, scrubbed/cleaned the tile, recolored the grout, then sealed and buffed all our tile floors. Both Mark, the sales rep, and the technician, Reuben, were really great. Our floors are like the day we bought the house 10 yrs. ago. We had many, many rooms of tile and the quality of the work was really amazing. Reuben was a pleasure to have in our home. Not only a hard worker but very pleasant, kept to his work and extremely polite. Mark delivered what he promised, on time and in a great manner. He oversaw the job impeccably. I really can't say anything in the and quot;Don'tand quot; column. I would love to keep up this service, at least the general cleaning part, routinely, just don't want to have to pay the $500 minimum.
