Description of Work: Two shower door installations (large job in the master bath; smaller job in guest bath). We were thrilled with the product quality and installation. The sales experience was very fair and we'd be happy to use them again. They only use quality products, so pricing will reflect that, but we are quite happy with everything and would happily use or recommend them again and again.

Description of Work: Shower Doors of Houston installed a new shower enclosure. They were very prompt in responding when we bought the deal. Within a few days of purchase they measured our enclosure and set the installation date. They removed and disposed of our old enclosure and cleaned up everything. |We did have a few small leaks on the new enclosure and they fixed those 2 days after we called. |I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: This is the second time that I have used Shower Doors of Houston. Both times, I was very satisfied with them from the initial contact, to the sales person's visit to my house, and finally, to the installation. I definitely recommend them and will use them if I have any more shower door needs.

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon from Angie's List for $99 to receive $400 off a new shower door. Everything could not have gone any better. I received an email the very next day detailing how to set up my appointment. I called and had my appointment set for 2 days later. I was given all of my options for my new shower door, a drawing of how it would look, and a detailed description of what would be done. Once my order was placed, an appointment was set for installation which went very smoothly. The installers were on time, very courteous, and professional. Our new shower door is beautiful and a HUGE improvement over what our builder had installed. I would highly recommend Shower Doors of Houston, they did an excellent job in all areas.

Description of Work: The new shower enclosure looks and works fine......we're happy with it, but we did have an issue prior to the installation of the new glass. It took two tries to get the goods installed. On the initial visit when they were removing the old shower glass & framework they noticed a cracked tile around one of the mounting holes. We never noticed before and wondered if it was there all along or if it got cracked by them while removing the old framework. We'll never know. Anyway, $100 and two weeks later we got the broken tile replaced. Then we had to reschedule another appointment. Two more weeks was the best they could do (bummer). Ok, it's finally done and were very satisfied with the end result. But to get to that point was a bit of a challenge.

Description of Work: They had to return three times because the measurements were incorrect and the doors and fixtures were wrong for the space. When given a window of 4-6 PM for the installers to arrive- they arrived at 6 PM. The installers were professional and tried to be obliging but were having to accommodate for their predecessor We never had the same installers except in the third attempt at install.

Description of Work: The company was prompt and tolerant - we missed connections for home appointments on two or three occasions, but they kept their appointments, and eventually the work was finished. However, the initial inspection, measurements and estimate were accomplished by one worker, and the installation, by two additional pairs of workers. Unfortunately, the measurements were inaccurate, so the first attempt at installation was delayed when the glass shower door had to be re-cut. The third visit, by a second work crew, resulted in redrilling of holes in the tile to mount the re-cut door. And the original markings and unused holes drilled by the first crew were simply left behind by the second. The door itself works fine, however. I'd summarize this by saying that the work violated one basic principle of carpentry: 'measure twice, cut once.'

Description of Work: They were very responsive to my request for service. Friendly and prompt. Waiting for doors to be installed. Ended buying one for the master and an additional door for over a bathtub instead of a shower curtain.

Description of Work: I have read all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was more like a nightmare than a dream! The initial measurement occurred on April 9th, 2014. We chose to use their Shower Guard surface which added $250 to the cost. The glass was delivered on April 24th. AFTER they took down our working shower, they discovered that the glass was mismeasured or miscut - they left - we had no usable shower! They returned on May 2nd - they didn't have the right hinges - shower still unusable. They returned the next day - a Saturday. I had told them that they needed to come between 8 and 9 - had a presentation to attend - there was no one home when they arrived after 9. I had contacted a representative at 8:15 - told him that they had not arrived - he said he would check - when I hadn't heard back by 8:45, I called his number again - no answer! My daughter and son-in-law came to let them in - the "20 Min call" took 1 1/2 hours. When I returned home, I found that the shower door made a loud scraping noise when shut and heavily vibrated when totally shut. Installers returned the following week (first available appt) April 9th. We agreed to remove the edge guard so that the shower door would close without the noise and shaking. Finally, a shower we could use. However, the shower door shakes when using a squeegee. The installers were very nice - seemed competent - just didn't have the right glass, etc. No one from the company ever acknowledged or apologized for all the inconvenience! Looking at what other people paid, I wonder if I was overcharged - the door side was 56" and the 3/4 wall was 20" - not a large shower.

Description of Work: Gave them a C because they initially measured the shower incorrectly. Because we were selling our home, this meant that the photographer could not include the master bath in her photos. If the job had been measured correctly, this would not have been an issue. In the end, they did a satisfactory job and the lack of picture did not affect us selling our home, but it could have (and it took more of our time) - thus, the C.

Description of Work: They installed a replacement shower enclosure. Initially the door sill was installed backwards. Shower Doors of Houston came back and fixed it without any hassles. All experiences with Staff and installers was pleasant and professional.
