Shower Doors of Houston

The new house we bought had a big open shower with no door, just an opening. Very European like. We wanted a swinging glass door to keep heat in and kiddo out. This special came about just when we were ready to start looking around for a contractor to do the work. Timing worked great for us and the whole job went hassle free.

They were very easy to work with and wonderfully punctual. We bought the Angie's List Deal to get $400 worth of shower door for $99. We obviously added to that offer by increasing our order. But we are very happy that we did. The doors are beautiful and update the look of the bathrooms. The doors were expertly installed. We think the price was fair. Good deal all around.

The company Houston Shower Doors arrived on time and did a great job of installation and explainng the best method to use to maintain the enclosure. They were professional and friendly. We are extremely pleased with the work done and will gladly recommend the company to others.

Great experience! I recently had small bathroom (sink and toilet) torn out, the space enlarged and completely redone. I had a step in shower made for my elderly mother and needed the shower enclosed. This entailed custom making the enclosure with a door that would swing open for fast and easy access to the shower. They came out, did all measurements and helped design what I needed as well as making sure it was up to code for handi-cap access. Their quote was a little higher than another one I got for basically the same job so they made sure they matched the price! The shower enclosure was installed 8 days later! The other company said it would be at least 2 weeks from date it was ordered. They had the installers out exactly when promised and they did a very professional job. The enclosure is beautiful and so functional. I have gotten so many compliments on the enclosure. It really completes the bathroom. I was so very impressed with them from the start to finish. Would I use them again? You bet! I already have another shower door I need and I will be using them!!! Thanks to Angie's List I found the perfect contractor to re-do the bathroom and the perfect shower door company to complete the job! Can't say enough good things about the whole experience!!

They have a pricing tool online so you can determine what the shower door will cost. Once I checked the price, I bought the Angie's Deal and they contacted me immediately. I had selected the 1/2" glass and they recommended the 3/8"!for my installation. I received the quote and scheduled the work. They were around 30 minutes late for the appointment but had called to let me know in advance. The installation took about 2 hours. They didn't clean up the dust from drilling and sawing tile but other than that, everything was great. The glass really looks great on my new shower.

The sales professional offered three options ranging from something similar to what the builder had put in seven years ago toa super top of the line glass enclosure with coated glass, and no visible brackets. We selected the middle priced option, and had an Angie's list coupon which allowed us to upgrade to the best glass. The two installers called on the day of the install and said they were a bit early could they come over and install. They were in uniform, the truck is clearly marked with bold decals and they introduced themselves. They went right to work pulling out old enclosure and then starting installing new one. They had the wrong door hinges with them and apologized for this, and went back to the office and returned about an hour later and completed the job. They cleaned up any materials, explained proper care of the glass, and thanked me for using shower doors of Houston. Nice men, good work, on time, no changes in cost from quote.

The salesman and installation crew were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable about their business. The salesman first understood what we wanted. He then inspected and measured the existing shower stall. He discussed the available options for the new stall and assisted with decisions on these. He then provided the written estimate and an information packet about the product and the company. The salesman answered all our questions and never pressured in any way. The installation crew was efficient and took care of our property during the job. They removed the old stall, including metal framing and glass, and then prepped the area for the new stall. The new stall went in just as planned due to accurate and correct measurements by the salesman. The whole process was well planned and easy for us. We are extremely pleased with the new shower stall. We highly recommend Shower Doors of Houston.

They had to come out several times to get the job done and I didn't feel that it was very efficient. Their workman are nice enough, but when they measured one of the glass pieces, the service provider didn't communicate well about the cutting. The cutting had to be done twice. The finish job was good, though.

WEnt very well. They installed it in record time but were several hours late to arrive due to holdups at prior installations. Did keep me informed that they would be late. Cleaned up the area. However, the first time I went to use the shower, it broke. Appears a screw that kept the door in the track sheared off. They were unable to come fix it for about a week and a half. Has worked fine since.

It was excellent. I couldn't be happier with them. To show you how impressed I was with this company, the guys that did the installation brought it to my attention that there were a scratch on the glass on both panels. And before he brought it to my attention, he had already called this company and arranged for new glass to be made and showed me where the scratches were. The way I look at it, if I would have any other company do this, they could have just installed the glass and walked out. I would have never seen it unless he showed me, I would have never found it. So I was really impressed with that company. They came back out. They called me on Monday to set-up a next appointment to re-install the glass and within a couple of days they were here and everything is done. I am very impressed with them, very impressed with them. They also installed a good quality glass and with good fitness. We have found out from other companies that it was going to be along the same price range but my wife is an Angie's member and everything that we see in here, we try to use Angie's List for a lot of our stuff that's why we went with them. I would recommend them to anybody.

They were great because of their professionalism, quality and punctuality. It was an overall good experience.

They arrived on time, did an excellent job and left the work area clean. I received a follow-up call after the work was completed.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. They came when they said they were going to come, they took away the debris and left the bathroom as clean as it was when they started. I was very happy with them. Email communication before the work started at the office the staff was very helpful especially Julie Frund she was amazing and we thought the pricing was very fair.

Excellent and quality service

Good communication and good service; I'm not convinced that the the $200 "savings" means/meant anything though. Pricing out others, after the fact, suggests that they just increased their price to offset the "discount" purchased through Angie's List. I know many such vendors are like this, so I'm not singling out Shower Doors, but there should be a way to get all-in pricing BEFORE you've already sunk $100 into a "coupon."

It went very well. We are very pleased. We thought we would have to hinge the door at the wall but they were able to come up with a solution that allowed us to locate the hinges in the middle of the glass panel.

Great initial visit. Reviewed options and upgrades. Reviewed what I needed to have available (shower head, knob). Reviewed changes/ add-ons I wanted. Realistic price I was happy with. Started two weeks later. Didn't have to baby-sit. Felt safe with them in my house w/out me. They scheduled plummer. It was all seem less and done in five days: demo, expansion, install, glass door. Love it! Very happy!

Excellent, The door is heavy and beautiful, installed in little over a week. This is the second installation from Shower Doors, I could not be more pleased.

I was very satisfied! They were quick and did great work. The price wasn't the cheapest but I was satisfied with the quality of the work.

I bought the Angie's List Big Deal for their $99 for $300 worth of glass service. I needed to have a seamless glass enclosure installed in my master bath shower. Compared to other quotes, with the Big Deal, I saved a good $300-400. They scheduled a time to do a final measurement and quote, then a week later they got in there and knocked out the job in a couple hours. No mess, no problems. This was for a townhouse property I owned and put on the market for sale. The glass enclosure really took that shower to the next level - very high end feeling. After the work was done they were more than willing to sign a release of lien on behalf of the buyers who purchased the property - so they had piece of mind that the shower enclosure was paid for and no one would try to lien the property later. That helped me firm up the property sale. All around, a great company and very professional. I would certainly hire them again.

The glass surround looks great. When they first brought it out to install it, it was cut wrong. They left and had to reschedule for 2 days later to come back and install it.

I called and they came out practically the next day. They were able to put it in very easily. They sold me a good, quality door.
