Shower Doors of Houston

Like most people, I work Monday - Friday, during normal business hours. Shower Doors of Houston was unwilling to provide me an estimate evenings or weekends. A service provider such as this needs to be willing to work around their clients schedules. Very disappointing.

Great experience. Someone came out to measure. Friendly and informative. Two weeks later, guys came to install. Finished pretty quick and door works great.

Everything went really well with this company. Scheduling was easy and everyone we worked with was friendly and professional. They were able to come out to install about a week from getting the quote. They were punctual and the work was done neatly. We love our new shower door with ShowerGuard. It's so easy to clean!

This was a very pleasant experience. Salesman, Jack Long, was punctual, pleasant and delivered what he promised. Installers brought and installed exactly what we expected when we expected it. Received $400 discount with Angie's deal with no questions. We are very pleased. We would use them again no doubt!

I purchased 2 of these $99.00 deals hoping to use them on our master shower enclosure. At the time I purchased I did not realize only one deal could be used per shower door. I probably missed that detail in the description, however I had already purchased the deals and it was too late. When I was contacted and provided the estimates I was disappointed to learn I could only use 1 per shower and that the estimate for the replacement was @ $1200-1400 for replacing our master bath shower. Not only could I not use both but it was much more expensive than I anticipated. I inquired about a refund and was told I could use the deal at any time and it did not expire. At this point I feel I wasted $200.00 because I was not prepared to spend $1000.00+. A refund was not offered.

They were responsive in getting with me to give me a quote and they arrived to install it when they said they would. Other than that they failed miserably. The installers pretty much wrecked our custom built shower around the area that they installed the door. (see pictures) They did not have the proper tools to do what they needed and chipped the marble. They also seemed to have never worked with concrete and they gouged it in a couple of places. The doors will open either way (in or out) yet the edges that they install create problems and even broke when the doors were opened a certain way. Also, do not get suckered into getting the custom glass coating as it absolutely useless. I have had 2 different companies come out to give me bids to replace this disaster and both of them commented on the coating and said they cannot believe that they still sell it. One of them left me a piece of glass and he coated it with RainX and it performed much better than what we have. Last but not least, I had forgotten that I had gotten an online quote for the same size doors all in 1/2 in glass and it was $2000 yet when they came out, they quoted 1/2 in sides and 3/8 in doors for $3000. I deserve an F rating as well because I should have remembered this and run them off when they upped it by 50% for less product. One last thing, they were also quick to charge my CC for the last half of the payment with even bothering to follow up with me on if I was satisfied or not. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Purchased the $99 for $400.00 value from Angies list. Scheduling was easy and professional. Came out and measured and installed shower enclosure professionally and quickly. People were friendly and didn't try to upsell. Kept to schedule and price. Excellent experience

Bottom line - this was one of/the highest estimates we received for the replacement of our shower door. We'll will be going with another company.

This is a very professional company, I bought the Angies list deal and they responded very fast. They came and took measurements when they said they would and gave me the cost. It took two weeks and they came back to do the install exactly when they said they would. The work they performed is very high quality and they cleaned up. Can't say enough good things about this company

Installation was very fast & easy. Crew was on time, respectful, and did a decent job cleaning up after they left. The shower door was installed beautifully. The pre-visit to take measurements was relatively fast, and the guy was very professional. I would use them again.

I bought the coupon for $100 that gave you $400 worth of work. Great buy. From the get go they were helpful. They came out for a quote on a seamless shower door. I was provided information in a detailed and upfront manner. I was quoted $2050 for a seamless showered door with safeguard. I had check 2 other place and this was in the same ball park as others. The price was knocked down by $300 ($400-$100) to $1750. That made it a really good deal. I liked the initial meeting so I got a guote on a mirror for the other bathroom. The quote was $300 for a large bathroom mirror with beveled edges. Good deal. Everything went well from there. I called and made a deposit. The appointment was scheduled. The two men came out and were polite and professional. They installed the shower glass, shower door, and mirror. Everything looks great. I wll be using again.

Shower Doors of Houston 4549 Brittmoore, Houston, TX 77041 ROCKS!! After seeing a special on Angies' List for shower doors, I signed up and was given the contact phone number. I called and setup an appointment for an estimate. He arrived on time and walked me thru the estimate after evaluating the situation. We then scheduled the installation and that went as smoothly as the the initial meeting. I now have an amazing shower at a fraction of the cost I was anticipating. If I knew how to up load a photo, I would. It's that awesome.

They came out and gave me a bid and were very nice. But even with the coupon I would be paying more than I would with another company. In addition the other company can get the door installed tomorrow and this company was going to make me wait 2 weeks.

The company responded quickly to my request and was able to come out at a convenient time for me. The estimate was done on the spot. The only reason we decided to go with someone else was the fact that we ate having the shower resurfaced and that company is able to do both the enclosurethane and the resurface. We will be building a new house neXT year and fully intend on using this company then
