Shower Doors of Houston arrived on time to inspect the proposed job and provided an estimate during the same visit. They carefully took measurements at several different locations (which impressed me). Lots of good discussions and recommendations around the types of glass and hardware available. The installation took place at the time that was scheduled and it went smoothly. The final product looks great. My only snag was price - it was a couple hundred dollars higher than I was expecting, even with a $300 voucher purchased (for $99) from Angie's List. That said, it has been more than 10 years since I've had similar work done. Professional quality installation from this company.

Jack from Houston Shower Doors showed up promptly on Aug. 21 to measure the space. The enclosure could have been installed on Sept. 2, but I had planned to be out of town on that date and scheduled the installation for Sept. 8. Two installers appeared on time and finished ahead of schedule. The result is beautiful. The glass is so transparent that you can not tell it is there. The installation time was predicted to be two hours but they finished in about 90 minutes. This was beautiful work which also required a high degree of accuracy. I am delighted!

Everything went as expected

We recently had our master bathroom tub area converted to a walk in shower. We purchased the deal for $99 to get $400 off the price shower doors. Good deal, could not have gotten the doors we picked for the price. Installation was easy, on time and professional, along with a good warranty from the company.

Awesome! The saleperson showed up on time, thoroughly discussed the details and suggested the Angie's list coupon. Once we decided to get the work done, an install date was promptly scheduled and the work was completed on time. Very professional work!

The installer arrived at the appointed time, and measured the opening as well as providing me options for the type of glass (I selected Shower Guard) and hardware to be used. In a couple of weeks, they returned to install the enclosure. They completed the installation within two hours. They left after thoroughly cleaning the glass, and giving me instructions on how to keep the glass streak free.

I contacted Shower Doors of Houston just before the tile work was complete in our bathroom remodeling project. They came out a few days later to talk with us and give us an estimate. Based on a rough cost estimate I did using their online estimating tool, I was surprised that their in-person estimate was about 25% higher. We spoke to the salesman about the types of glass we could choose from. We did not want clear glass; we wanted something translucent to provide the shower-taker a bit of privacy but still let the light in. Unfortunately, the salesman only had 1 sample (which they made for another client) to show us; the other options we could select were based on photographs ... and not all the options shown online were available. We made a selection and placed our order. A couple of days later the salesman called back to tell us because of our shower configuration we had to use 1/2 inch glass, and the glass we selected did not come in 1/2 inch thickness. In fact they only had 1 translucent glass was available in 1/2 inch thickness. At least that made selection of an alternate glass easy. The other surprise was the lead time for getting the shower glass installed. I scheduled the salesman to come out and give us an estimate as soon as the tile work was complete; this was the earliest they could actually take the measurements to install the glass. I had anticipated that we would be able to have the glass installed within a few days, but the salesman told us it would be at least 2 weeks before they could install it. So we scheduled the installation ... and waited. Everything else went very smoothly. The installers showed up about the time they said they would (after months of working with various contractors who showed up "whenever", this rates as "punctual") and installed the glass as we requested. The installers ran into a couple unexpected problems, but they worked with my husband to resolve the problems so they could proceed with the installation. It has now been about 2 1/2 months since the shower glass was installed, so we have had a little time to live with it and test it out. Everything works great--no leaks and door problems. So far it still looks brand new and we are quite happy with it.

Got an estimate for the work after purchasing the big deal. The glass took a few weeks to come in as it is a non standard shower. The installers actually called and asked if they could come a few hours early. They made no mess, little noise and the results were great. A little expensive.

It turned out great. They came out two weeks ago. The door they installed is working great. There was one minor problem and they came right out to fix and they did a great job on it. I am very happy with it. There was no extra charge, I paid only $99. They were very professional. When they first came out, they were not pushy, they were just very professional. They gave me choices on how I want to do it. I had one thing in mind, but they said, "Yeah, you can do that, but here are other things you can consider." and I liked that. They came out and did a very professional job and they were a good company to deal with. I have had some companies listed on Angie's come out and they do something different from what they listed on their services, but this one was a really good deal and I am very happy with it. I would have liked it if I had gotten the service done a little cheaper, but there was another company that had a lower price, but they had bad reviews so I think the cost was satisfactory. They were here on time. I would use them again in the future.

I used the big deal, I have my shower door and I'm super happy with it. I have my house up for sale and I get many compliments on it. They came out and gave me a quote when I was choosing whom to go with and as soon as I got back to them, they came out. The deal that I purchased was $300 but everything cost like $1500.

It went outstanding! He was courteous, quick, easy to work with, and comfortable discussing everything according to the least-expensive options. We agreed on an overall price, and they are scheduled to do the removal and install of our new shower enclosure on July 10th. We're very excited!

The service and the work was very good. My review is short because I have little time; not, because the work wasn't good.

The installer put on new shower door and it only opened inward not both ways as was noted on paperwork. He installed the shower glass on a shower wall that looked out over bath tub and it was cut to small and he installed anyway with one half in of caulk all around glass. Looked like crap. Told him that wasn't going to work so had to wait for another guy to come out remeasure and when it came it was also cut to small. It was installed and they were coming out for a third measurement and I told them since water didn't hit that glass I would keep it with a gap around the glass and tile. They fixed the door so it swang both ways.

It went very well. They did a good job.

They were prompt and professional in every way, even following up with me after the gentleman came out to do the bid. Again, I doubt that their pricing is high it was just more than I want to spend right now.

The installation was quick and they were very nice. When they left, I noticed they didn't caulk in a couple of places. I called them and they were happy to come back and caulk. Overall a great experience and I would hire again.

I bought a deal for $99 for $400 credit toward a shower glass enclosure but I paid an additional $1100 for additional work.

1st crew would have been rated F. Miscut brand new marble shower seat leaving large gap on both sides of glass. Panels mis-measured ahead of time so seams were large and panels did not line up at 90 degrees. All panels removed except for door and re-remeasured by second, more experienced crew. Not 100% happy as I still have patched marble slab inside of shower. Only solution would have been to remove entire slab that runs from shower under new whirlpool tub and would have required total reinstallation of slab, tub, plumbing, and tile surround. Will not hire again but did attempt to remedy to their ability.

Everything went well with the shower door, except a screw was tightened too much and the door shattered. It took a couple days to replace and everything went fine the second time.

Scheduling was easy, convenient and quick for measurement. Also prescheduled installation for a Monday morning. Unfortunately, I received a call Monday morning that not all the parts were in, which was surprising since I had pushed out the installation date by a week or more. Installation was rescheduled the next afternoon 2-4. I asked if it was a problem that my cleaning people would be there - no worries. Later on monday they called to move up 2 hours - 12-2. On Tuesday, I received a call at 10:30am telling me they would be there at 11:30 - early and before my cleaning people. Installation went fine - quick. Was completed within 2 hours. Reasonable cleanup behind. The only thing I did as a result was tell my cleaning folks not to clean the tubs so the silcone sealer would not be disturbed - lucky for them, unfortunate for me. Only feedback is that a check on Friday should be made to ensure all parts are available for Monday morning and call then, vs Monday morning.

They are the best. All others offered poor designs. This company were pros and solved the design problems. Would not use anyone else-period

Company called right away to setup an appointment with us to provide an estimate after we purchased the $100 certificate for a $400 credit towards our purchase. Came out and provided estimate. Was very courteous and price was reasonable. The only reason we did not use them was because we decided to do something completely different. We would definitely recommend them for showers doors and plan to use them in the future.

Everything went well and we are happy with the service. They did a great job on the install and it looks great. Thanks!
