Gerald was on time, very efficient, skillful, and professional. He gave me a quote on the phone first and then completed the job few days later without any extra charges, even though he did little more than he had expected initially, which was really nice. We are very happy with his work and highly recommend him to anyone who needs this kind of drywall repairs.

Gerald and his Son arrived when they said they would, promptly got to work and did an amazing job. I watched them the whole time and witnessed their professional touch. It went great, Gerald was friendly on the phone and worked with my schedule and both he and his son were friendly and helpful and did an excellent job patching up all the holes. They matched the texture patterns and it looks great. They helped me repair some shoddy historical work as well where the tape was pulling off the drywall. They even took the extra step of identifying a few holes to fix up that I hadn't even noticed and threw them in there as well. I highly recommend them and will use them again if I ever need future repairs. They aren't painters however, so don't expect them to fix and match...

A plumber left 4 holes in the ceiling of our guest bathroom due to work on the plumbing. Professional Sheetrock Repairs patched the holes and textured the patches to match the ceiling. These guys are artists.

I had chatted with Gerald the day before to come out and take a look at redoing a bunch of drywall at my house, and we had set up the meeting for "around noon" (his phrase, since he was unable to nail down a specific time). The next day I'm home at noon to make sure that I don't miss him, and after a while I realize that it's now past one o'clock and Gerald still hasn't arrived. So I reach for my phone to call him and find that I've accidentally left it in the car. When I get my phone, I see that Gerald has called twice, the first time more than thirty minutes past noon. When I called back to see when he was going to get here, he informed me that he wouldn't be coming because I had not answered my phone. He said he had not even come by the house because I did not answer his call. Gerald would have been the third appointment I had seen that day, and none of the others needed to call first. Both showed up at the designated times and looked at the job. If I set up an appointment- even one with a wishy-washy time like this- I'm going to show up and be available at the specified time, and I expect the vendor the be professional and act the same way. Gerald offered to come out to the house the next day, but having already skipped out on one meeting I'm inclined to look at other vendors.

Father and son came on time as promised,explained what they are going to do.They placed .plastic cover on the area below the ceiling ,removed the soiled ceiling sheet rock and replaced. The sheet rock replaced matched the the rest of the ceiling.they cleaned the area where they worked at. Both men were very professional and courteous. Job well done.

Gerald and his son arrived on time and finished the mud on a drywall job that someone else had started. I had also asked them if they could replace the damaged baseboard. The baseboard replacement proved to be much more difficult than previously thought and added at least 1-2 hours to the job. They completed it and still only charged me our previously agreed apron price.

Professional Sheetrock Repairs performed a 3 hour mud job for $620. They resurfaced, repaired, installed and textured drywall with mud-work to a 7' reach-in closet and installed a ~3'x2' drywall panel with mud-work and texture to a wall in my living room. Assuming $50 for their expenses (mud, drywall, gasoline, etc), that's $95/hr wage or a $197,600 salary per person. Other than feeling like they took me to the cleaners, they were very nice and respectful and did quality work. All this said, a deal's a deal. We agreed on the price before the work began. I just wanted the job done and I was in no mood for haggling.

Wonderful! Gerald was very responsive and was able to quickly arrange to do the work. He was prompt, very nice, and clean. The repair work was done quickly and well. The patched areas are invisible. They matched the texture perfectly.

Gerald and I selected a time for the work to be done. Communication between us addressing our needs was excellent. They arrived on time and explained their entire approach to fix our wall. It took maybe an hour and a half. He asked me to look everything over and their repair is perfect! They gave me a sample cut from my wall so we can match it to paint for us. The repair is so good that it almost doesn't need to be painted but we will anyway. Even better is the cleanup job they did after the work was completed was done meticulously. Very few contractors cleanup this good. I highly recommend this company. Very efficient, effective, and friendly.

I had a small hole in my kitchen ceiling where I slipped off a board while walking in the attic. The ceiling is 11 ft high, so it didn't qualify for the $185 coupon. Gerald and his son arrived at the time promised. They were very courteous and professional the entire time. They explained what they were going to do, then put down plastic sheets to protect the area in the kitchen where they were working. They completed the job in about 2 hours. They textured the repair to match the rest of the ceiling, and, after I painted it a couple days later, you cannot tell where the hole was. They did a great job of cleaning up all the debris in the area where they were working, so there was no need for me to follow up with any additional cleaning.

Gerald was responsive and accommodating when I called to schedule. We set up a time just a few days out, he confirmed our appointment, called to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. He and his son were very friendly and polite, reviewed the situation and went right to work. They were conscientious about moving and/or covering up furnishings and the floor. He showed me the work when finished and they cleaned up well. I wish all home repairs and services could be this easy.... this was my first time to use Angie's List, so maybe they will!

We have a "crows-foot" pattern, and Gerald was able to duplicate this random pattern to appear as if the damage had never happened. There are few craftsmen around anymore of this quality, but with 28+ years of experience, really knows what he is doing. It has taken me over 12 years to find a really good plasterer, and Gerald is our plasterer from now on. I have other work yet to come, and I look forward to having him do this work as well.

I spoke with Gerald on the phone and he asked for pictures to quote 4 sheetrock repairs - and told him price was high concern. I initially wanted them to also do the repainting, but Gerald insisted that I should save my $$ and do light touch ups afterwards, he offered to show me what he would have used. I sent Gerald the pictures and while going around the house taking pictures, I found another repair needed. Gerald and his son came to the house and we reviewed the spots. As we were talking, we saw yet another 2 repairs needed. I think many other people would have increased the price by 50%, he just added another $50.
