PROFESSIONAL SHEETROCK REPAIRS

Repair done for four separate 1x2ft. holes in the utility room and a small 6 inch hole near where our old alarm system was mounted. Workers were timely, efficient, respectful, and sociable. Wore masks the majority of the time (some time working alone they left off). Took only half a work day for them to complete. Price was reasonable, and they texture matches near perfect. After I came back with touch up paint a week later, you can barely tell that there was any issue. Will be calling again in the future.

Gerald and Alex (son) were right on time and went right to work. Excellent work ethics, very pleasant, and did a wonderful job. Cleaned up everything (you wouldn't know they where there) and I was very pleased with them. I will use them again. Pat Ulrich

After doing some repair work, I had them back out to do some texturing over some old wallpaper. Did an excellent job. Walls are much improved.

Roof was repaired as if nothing ever happened.

We requested a quote a couple of days ago. I haven't heard anythings since then and just got an email from Angie's List that the project was completed? I'll update this if that was done by mistake, but I'm not giving credit for something that wasn't done.

Fantastic work. Very quick to respond and both the price and the work were excellent. In fact, we're having floors installed and I had a miscommunication with the installer who poured leveling compound in the area where the work needed to be done. I hadn't realized this until Gerald and his son arrived. Gerald simply stated that he could return the following day and he did, which was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend his services and will be calling him and his son whenever the need arises.

First of all, Thank you for such a great job! Gerald and Alex arrived right on time. Within 10 minutes of walking through the front door they surveyed the scope of work, set a price that couldn't be beat and proceeded with the repair. I do renovation work in my spare time, even some sheetrock work so please believe me when I say I'd be a poser if I was trying to compete with these people. It was a pleasure to watch skilled pros, they make it look effortless and I guess that's what you get after 40 years in the business. What they did in 2 hours would have taken me two days, and that is stated from recent personal experience. I got a real kick when Gerald and Alex took their personal time to give me some pointers on work I had done.....I mean...wow! With regard to the negative reviews, I would argue against those any day. I guess you can't be everything to everyone, whatever, I won't hesitate to call Gerald and Alex again, and I have already recommended them to a coworker.

The man answered, asked where I was and just flat out told me he didn't go that far and he's out of west Houston. Could have been a little nicer about it or suggested someone else (I'm sure in his industry he knows of people) but was just flat out "No." He half heartedly said "Sorry" but didn't even inquire as to how much work I needed (extensive) so I guess he's made his millions and doesn't need any additional business. Perhaps you update your ad to state that you won't travel over xx miles or only handle certain areas.

Gerald and Alex are not only highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable in their craft but they are all around good people....great really. They are professional, courteous, and very honest. I would highly recommend them for any job large or small.

Great. The previous sheetrock repair people replaced ceiling sections that had gotten wet during Harvey, but did a very poor job of matching the ceiling texture. Gerald and Alex sanded down the mismatched finish and managed to match the existing texture as closely as can be expected. We were very pleased, and relieved that we weren't going to have to look at the ugly patches that the other people left on our ceilings.

I asked Gerald if he could provide an estimate and he asked me to text him pictures of the damage. I found this an unusual request as in most cases contractors come by physically to take a look. I sent 4 pictures from different angles, and he replied quoting $250. When I called to schedule, it turned out he hadn’t understood the scale of the job and told me the price would go up! Very disappointed that he wasted my time trying to make me take pictures and then giving me an incorrect quote. He also said he didn’t work past 4pm and didn’t work Saturdays, making it almost impossible to find a time to even have him come by for a quote!

Gerald gave me a time when he could come out. He revised that SOONER (which I found wonderful, especially after Harvey!) They arrived early, took care of the problem. Repairs and clean up were done well. I would highly recommend them. Note: They do not paint. But WOW! The kitchen ceiling is perfect!

I sent a photo of the area that needed to be repaired and Gerald called me with a quote. He came by with his son and repaired it within a hour. The job was completed very professionally and the area is unnoticeable now.

GREAT! Gerald and his son Alex came two days in a row and if I did not know what they had done one could not tell the there had ever been any cracks, holes or damage to the drywall. Their skill and expertise is amazing. Our drywall has a textured surface they somehow blended the texture and it is impossible to see where the original piece ends and their work ends. Would recommend and would hire again.

I contacted Gerald for an estimate to repair some plaster walls. He was rude and dismissive. Perhaps I caught him at a bad time, but I found it very unprofessional.

Excellent job! Gerald and Alex arrived as promised and went right to work. They were very polite and knew what they were doing. The job only took about an hour to complete.

Gary and his son arrived as scheduled with all the materials required. They worked very efficiently and did a fantastic job. His claim of 'expert texture matching' is spot-on; you absolutely couldn't tell the old patter to the new one...he really knows his business. I'll definitely use him again for future repairs.
