+ -1 moreWe were being invaded by tiny, sugar ants. They are extremely hard to stop, but the professionals who came to our house were successful --although two repeat visits were necessary. This was our first use of the company, and we were pleased by their persistence. Over the years in our house we have had periodic sugar ant invasions. No pest control company ever stopped them in less than three tries.
Description of Work: Sprayed around outside of our house and its attached garage. Treated the kitchen inside the house.

She was very thorough, explaining the difference in interior and exterior chemicals are performed all of the work in a professional manner.

+ -1 moreI purchased a big deal for Preventive Pest Control. It was a pretty good one. I liked it. There were no additional charges. I do see some dead bug bodies after a couple of days, so it's good. The bugs have been killed. I always choose companies close to us because if they are far away, no matter how good they are, it's very unlikely that we will have a continuous relationship. It all went very smooth with setting up of appointments. They arrived on time and they did a pretty good job. I was satisfied with their service.
Description of Work: Preventive Pest Control did an external spray for pest control and they also did some indoor spray for some certain places. There were some wasps nest and they killed those wasps nests.

+ -1 moreThe gentleman who came was very polite and professional. He was a little late, a previous job took longer than expected and traffic. But not too bad. When he arrived, before he went into any rooms in the house he put on a clean pair of shoe covers. As soon as he treated the weep holes, almost immediately, spiders and other bugs came running out. He was quick but efficient with all of the treatments. I was doing some work in my yard moving some stone pavers and he started helping move them, which was above and beyond what he came there to do. I have already hired them on a regular basis to continue to keep my house bug free.
Description of Work: Treated entire yard with granules for fire ants and other pests. Treated all weep holes with powder for lurking bugs. Sprayed perimeter inside and outside in all rooms and closets to kill current bugs and prevent future pests.

+ -1 moreMy experience with this company has been very good. I initially hired them to treat an infestation of wasps using an Angie's List coupon, but I ended up signing up for a regular service. They were always very upfront about costs, even came back for free after the initial treatment because I had a few ants inside the house. They are always prompt, professional, friendly--and I don't have any pests to speak of.

+ -1 moreWhen I called to schedule my appointment and obtain information receptionist was courteous and explained everything thoroughly. I was told that the technician would call me about 20-30 mins prior to their arrival and that happened. Once Mary (technician) arrived she went over all the information thoroughly. She answered all of our question and took time to ensure that we understood everything about the service and our agreement. She provided her direct contact information and wanted to make sure that we were comfortable with the process. I asked if we were the last house that she had that day and she answered that she had six more after ours. I would have never guessed. I am such a stickler for customer service since it seems to be dying these days and this company definitely demonstrated that they are amazing!!

+ -1 moreSee my story above. No time to re-type. It wouldn't let me cut and paste. Over all, it went well in the end!
Description of Work: First experience with them wasn't worth a flip! Called on a Monday and scheduled an appointment for the coming Saturday. The appointment was set up between the hours of 8:00 AM and noon. I waited and waited until noon. They didn't show up! I didn't even get a call. Totally blew my Saturday! After several days and a few phone calls with their manager, I calmed down and decided to give them another chance. I scheduled another appointment and on this particular Saturday they actually showed up. Allen, who runs route 8 for Preventive Pest Control showed up within the scheduled window. He was very courtious and professional. He went over everything he planned to do and let me know what each pesticide was (what pest's it was for, warnings...if any, etc.) prior to applying it. This was greatly appreciated. The service I purchased was advertised on Angies List as the Big Deal. It consisted of a complete property treatment more or less. He treated my entire yard, complete exterior inspection and treatment and also a complete interior inspection and treatment. I was very satisfied with Allen's service. It's people like Allen that keep companies in business. I signed a year contract.

+ -1 moreThe experience was very easy and the initial contact was wonderful. Follow up treatments for the outside of the house are prescheduled and don't require me to be home but I can schedule an interior treatment if needed at no additional cost.
Description of Work: The exterminator inspected my house, attic, garage and grounds. He then applied the appropriate treatments to each area and gave me some advice concerning a rodent issue he located in my attic. He was very thorough and pleasant to talk to.
