They did recommend 2 installers to me and I wound up using one of them to purchase the fireplace and do the installation. They quote 'list' pricing which was high (in my opinion).

 + 1 moreWe found Perfection Supply on the internet when searching for fireplace log inserts to buy for our home. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Perfection Supply installed the fireplace in the house during construction. We had to wait several weeks for our gas logs and doors to be installed but it was definitely worth the wait and the cost. The installer (sorry we don't remember his name) called in advance to notify us when he would be arriving for the install. Later, he called with an update to confirm the time was acceptable. Before he started the installation, he put down a drop cloth to protect the area. This was greatly appreciated as we had some drywall repairs done the day before and that person never tried to protect any areas. The installer was courteous, friendly, proficient and did a splendid job. Thank you Perfection Supply and your staff.

Description of Work: TUNE UP - HeatNGlo Firebox - 10+yrs old - Service Technician was very knowledgeable and took great care with full service inspection, breakdown, cleaning, testing for carbon monoxide - He reset stones and logs for most perfect heat and beauty - Wish I could remember his name - He was first rate and very professional, informative and personable - He took his shoes off immediately - vaccuumed out all cob webs - taught me all about my firebox - warned me about issues to watch for when it gets too hot - Perfection was the original installer and left a notice pasted inside the firebox for service and repair contact - Since we only moved in a couple years ago - that was great to have the original installing company support their work and provide service - Our home was also still in the computer system with a record of maintenance - service techs were professional on phone too and he was right on time as scheduled - The cost was also very reasonable for all the work he did which was an entire TuneUp/Inspection $129 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AND WE WILL USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY FUTURE MAINTENANCE/SERVICE

Description of Work: We contacted this company to inquire on sound proofing our bedroom walls. We have neighbors whom play their music/bass up too loud after 10:00pm that we can literally hear everthing. Perfection Insulation told us about Green Glue, and that if placing it over our existing dryall and layering another drywall would take care of the problem. After investing all that money on the Green Glue material and buying all the other supplies like drywall, mudd, etc...It didn't work. We literally spend almost $500.00 for a project that didn't work at all. The product is not worth the buy.

 + 0 moreI smelled gas and noticed that pilot light on gas logs had gone out. Centerpoint came by and turned off gas to logs but I still felt something was amiss. I called Perfection - they had originally installed the gas logs about 5 1/2 years ago, and scheduled an appointment. They came out as scheduled and did a great job. Pilot light is now lit and I no long smell gas.
Description of Work: Serviced and inspected gas logs and checked for gas leak. I called because pilot light had gone out and I was smelling gas. Everything works perfectly now and no smell of gas.

 + 3 moreThe company was professional and a pleasure to deal with. They arrived on time, precisely as scheduled, and installed fireplace doors for a lower price that I had been quoted by two other companies. In addition to the scheduled installation, they also fixed two important safety problems that the original installer had left me with - a broken gas regulator dial and an incorrectly-sized gas orifice. (The original installer had skipped town with my door deposit.) I was amazed that John, the technician, discovered and fixed the problems within a short time after arriving. I would definitely call Perfection Fireplaces again for this type of problem or for any future problems with my natural gas fireplace.
Description of Work: Doors were purchased and installed for my fireplace, gas lines were checked, the gas valve regulator dial was replaced, and a tiny brass orifice was replaced with the correct one.
