I am real happy with the windows and it was a good price. I was pleased with the work. I would have like that the actual people who did the installation could have been a little bit better. You have the salesman come out and do the sale. Then you have the guy who comes and measures. Then they send a couple of guys out and they don’t even come and nobody supervises them. I guess that is what they do all day long, just put windows in. I just felt like there should have been more supervision of the guys who are actually installing the windows. One thing that Pella tells you is that their guys are factory trained. I asked these guys what kind of training Pella gave them. They said that they didn’t give them any training. They were installing windows in another company. When they went out of business, these guys came to work with Pella. So I didn’t like that part because there were a couple of things that I didn’t the way they were putting things in. I had to call the store and talk to somebody. All in all eventually, everything was done 100% to my satisfaction. It just took some good micromanaging on my part to make it happen. I thought that Pella should have someone else out here to micromanage what they were doing instead of me having to do it. I told them to put the windows in one direction and they put them in wrong. Then I showed them exactly what they were supposed to do. They took it out and then they put it in again wrong. I just felt like there should have been somebody who spoke English better and were able to supervise them better than me having to micromanage them. Ultimately with my micromanaging and a couple of phone calls we got everything done like it was supposed to be done. They stressed me out while they were doing it.

The experience was excellent. The salesman gave us correct information. The work was performed in a very timely fashion. The workmanship was excellent. They came in and did their job and left the place very clean.

I encourage you to think twice before doing business with this company (Pella - Fallbrook Drive, Houston, TX location). This company promises quality and expert service, but once they hook you in and you agree to the service, you are on your own with incompetent staff and a slow or nonresponsive corporation. The salesperson comes across as professional and knowledgeable, but he is nowhere around when the ?real? crew shows up to do the work. What was promised as a 2 day installation turned into a 3 month ordeal. I do not know anything about installing windows, but even to my untrained eye, I was able to see clear errors and had to stop the installers in the middle of a job before they did serious damage. Due to severe errors in the installation process, I had to make repeated calls to the site supervisor/company exec, etc to demand that the job be completed accurately. To say that this was without drama would be a false statement on my part! A far, far cry from ?Quality? and ?Expert? service. After over 15 telephone calls, several e-mails, and letters to corporate office and at least six return visits spanning a several months I did end up with windows and doors that were installed correctly (I hope). Pella politely tried to do the right thing by correcting the window issues, repairing my damaged deck, reinstalling my sliding doors, and issuing a small refund for part of the installation costs due to the errors but, I continue to incur additional costs due to Pella?s installer?s lack of experience. My house windows and doors were fully wired for my home security system and their representative told me that the wires would be pulled out so that the security company could reconnect it following the installation. The Security Company?s assessment of the wiring is that the wiring left is un-useable. It will cost me over $1,000 to remedy the problem. I have contacted my Pella contact via e-mail and phone calls regarding this and he has not responded. I consulted with more than one company before agreeing to do service with Pella. It wasn?t the lowest bid I received on my installation, but I thought it was going to be the best one based on their Product, ?standard? of quality, and expert service guarantee. Even after the multiple problems I experienced, I waited several months before submitting this review to give Pella an opportunity to resolve the problems they created. Unfortunately, that never happened. From start to finish- this was nothing but a very expensive nightmare. I cannot recommend this company because of the unskilled laborers they have completing their jobs, which resulted in costing me valuable time, and additional expenses. If you want excellent service, a good price, and more importantly peace of mind, these are NOT your guys.

They were good as far as the estimate was concerned but I had to put that off. The estimate was for around $9000. They sent an email which was inclusive of the notices. They presented to us very professional documents. Their price was a little expensive. We went over to the store and looked at the product. We were interested in one thing but we had a problem with 1 window. They didn’t have the window that we needed for the bay window; so I had to put it off. Everything they did was fine and I had no problems at all.

. They did a fine job. I would use them in the future.

The estimator was very professional and answered all questions.

Although the men showed up later than promised (by about 1.5 hours), when they arrived they were friendly and ready to work. They popped out the windows and had them replaced in less than 2 hours. I was impressed not only with their professionalism but also with the quality of the product. I was also impressed with the fact that Pella is the product manufacturer and installer. I also purchased a new door and frame and expect it to be installed on April 2. I will let you know how that goes. But as for the windows, go with Pella, the price was right and the work was excellent! I can't say enough about them.

Pella salesman was very good. They were prompt and there was one issue with a wrong window. The craftsmanship was really bad and installation was very bad. They had to clean-up debris in my yard, pieces of caulking, glass, and some nails. They had to re-do all the caulking as well. Office is very good and stood behind their offer, though.

He was a very professional young man. They were very responsive. When I called, they came and answered questions. I would not use their service in the future.

They were really clear about what they were going to do, unlike some of the other companies I went to for quotes. I thought they did an excellent job. The windows seem great. The installation was very professional.

The Pella sales person came to our house measured the dimensions of window and door. The door was stock, but the window was custom made. The sales person has a computer program that allowed us to provide the dimensions and then experiment with different options - size and orientation of panes etc. This was very helpful. The window was fabricated and installed about 3 weeks later. The installation went very well and the window looks even better than we expected. The door was was scraped during installation. Pella has said they will repair it.

We did get a 30% discount which was more than the offer we had that prompted our call for the free estimate. We were able to make an appointment for an estimate the day after we called. We promptly received the estimate within 24 hours. We payed a 50% deposit and a field supervisor came out to confirm the measurements within 2 days. Five weeks later we set up the appointment for the installation. The installers were polite and professional. When they were stuck in traffic on the first day, they called to let us know they would be 30 to 45 minutes late. They installed the windows in the order we preferred. No mess was left behind as they used zip walls and drop cloths and they hauled away the old windows. They even re-caulked one of the windows after our 2 1/2 year old played fingerpainting with the caulk. We immediately noticed a difference in the temperature upstairs. There was a small scratch on one part of a frame dressing and a small crack in one window which they have order replacements for and expect to be repaired within a couple of weeks. We plan to use them again when we are ready for new doors.

We also checked on them for replacing our windows but they were more expensive than others. With the sliding door, they disposed of the old door and window. There was one man and his helper that did the work over a couple of days. They had to reinforce the ceiling area and they did a very good job. I have a brick veneer house and they had to take off some brick out to do the work. A mason came to finish off the place that the bricks had come off and he did an excellent job as well. They did an excellent job but you pay for what you get. I would hire them again if it was for a job that justified the cost.

The work went very smoothly, despite many challenges of our original windows. Phillip and Jason arrived on time, worked caraefully and thoroughly, and were professional in every aspect of the process. They provided extra waterproofing in an area that showed earlier damage, to assure no further problems. They also protected the interior of the house with plastic sheeting, in each area as they removed and replaced old windows. In addition, they cleaned up both inside and outside as they completed each replacement.

The work was very good. There were some custom fitting required that they did at no charge. Everything went fine and I have no complaints. They think the house shifted some and caused a problem with the door so they replaced it for me under warranty.

The window is high quality. The actual installation left much to be desired. The installer did a messy job and created a tremendous amount of work that was unneeded. They finally got the window installed, but it took three days instead of the eight hours promised. Pella windows are great, but make sure you have an installer that knows what they are doing.

The salesperson was strictly business. He was very knowledgeable about the windows and could just tell what sizes we would need without measuring them. They were very fast when it came to installing the windows as well. When I first called them, they were easy to get in touch with and were able to schedule the sales call around my schedule.

There was a good deal of bargaining over contract and price, but every thing else was first class. Installer was very professional and competent.

Another company that I didn't buy the door from came out to install the door 2-10-06. The screen door portion of the glass patio door was determined to be damaged by Pella. They have since ordered 3 replacements, each of which they have reported to be damaged, and I still have no screen door. They are very nice over the phone, but it is 4 months later and I still have a bad screen door. My confidence in this company at this point is zero.

The original reason we wanted the windows was purely for appearance. There has been a fringe benefit with the added savings on our energy bills, and even our furnace company commented on this. The job was complete in about four hours with two workmen. They showed us how to take them out for cleaning, which is very easy. They were polite, informative, and cleaned everything up at the end of the day.

This house is very old, and the wood on the front window casings were starting to crumble so we ordered new windows from Pella Windows. The company was very efficient in getting the very large windows removed from the front of the house, and they then put in the new custom made Pella Windows. The work took about three days, everything thing looks beautiful, and we were very pleased with the professionalism of Pella Window installers.
