I noticed water leaking in our garage from the furnace closet and called Hallmark to come and check it out. Within minutes Joe the plumber (no joke) had diagnosed the issue and proceeded to clear out a really bad clogged drain all the while explaining what he was doing to my wife.

With the heat wave we have just been going through I got a call at work on a Friday afternoon around 2 pm from my kids that the a/c wasn't working. I called Hallmark because I have seen their vehicles in my neighborhood before. They had someone out there that night and fixed my a/c. On Saturday I felt like my a/c wasnt cooling well (100+ degrees outside) so I called again. They had someone out first thing Sunday morning at no extra charge. The a/c was running fine it was just really hot outside. Anyway on Sunday morning the technician was up in the attic and he pointed some things out to me that needed replacing and would help improve our system output. Some things we were already aware of, some we were not. When the plenum that was on there was installed it was set too low so our 5 ton unit was only operating at 3.5 tons. Well we decided to go ahead and do the work and in the afternoon when I got home I could already tell a difference in how hard the air was coming out of the vents. Now even on the hottest days my a/c is not running from sunup to well past sundown like it had been. The unit is working like it should and keeping my house alot cooler. I know in the long run the expense will pay off in lower electric bills. I have been very pleased with all the customer service personal and technicians. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

About 8 am on July 4, I found water spewing from the pipe just under the valve to cut off water coming into the house. I did not know how to turn off the water at the meter. I called this company just after 8 am, explained the situation and that I was losing a lot of water. They said someone would come out between 8 and 12 that day and someone would call 30 minutes before arrival. At 12:15 I called and said no one had called or come by. I was chided for calling at 12:15. I was told they would check with the plumber or the dispatcher and get back to me. Minutes later they called and said no one could come out that day and wanted an appointment for the next morning. I again explained that, as a senior citizen, I was not able to turn off the water at the meter and was loosing a lot of water. Even though they say on their listing that they offer 24-hour emergency service the next morning was the only thing they could offer. Luckily I found someone else to fix the leak quickly. I did cancel the appointment for the next morning. If they had just told me when I first called that no one was available that day I would have been able to get this fixed a lot sooner. I can't wait to see the water bill!

It turned out the faucet was the problem, but they wanted $400 to replace a faucet, in addition to the cost of the faucet. Ridiculous amount of money for such a job, so I turned them down & am dealing with a broken faucet until my husband gets home. They also refused to accept my Angie's List coupon.

The workers at Hallmark Cooling, Plumbing, & Heating are punctual and professional. They are more expensive, but they do a good job. They're a good company, you can expect them to show up on time and do a good job.

I think they do quality work. They also have people explaining what it is they are going to do. We had a little issue with scheduling, but they were quick to respond and apologize and everything worked out. They are not cheap, but they did what they said and fixed everything.

Hallmark Cooling, Plumbing, & Heating came out to service our heating and cooling system in September of 2008. They checked the furnace to make sure it was working properly for Winter. They are very dependable, honest, and willing to stand behind their work. The servicemen are always clean and presentable. They do great work and show up when they say they will. I would definitely recommend this company.

They are very good. They are knowledgeable and prompt. They are on time and very punctual. They call me when they are on their way. They put boots on and tarps down to make sure they don't make a mess. They are great.

I have been very happy with them. They're dependable and they always send out people who know what they are doing. They are straight shooters and I would highly recommend them.

Had yearly inspection and these two problems were found. I scheduled an appointment to install new kitchen faucet and shower head, and they were able to accomodate my schedule. Gary and Jon came on time and were very professional. Gave us a good estimate and did the work carfully. They explained everything to us and went out of their way to get the job done perfectly. Cleaned up and removed debris. I would not hesitate to call them again for any other problems or recommend them to friends.

I woke up Sunday morning to discover water dripping from the ceiling in my daughter's room. I called Jarrell Plumbing and was told that a plumber wasn't available immediately so I called another plumbing company. The company arrived and gave me a $2,085.00 estimate to fix the problem! Being a single mother, I didn't have the money for this repair so I called Jarrell Plumbing back. They were able to send a plumber within 2 hours and only charged me $275.00 for the repair. The workers were very professional and friendly.

They did a great job. They weren't cheap but I really feel that I got what I paid for. I would use them again.

I went ahead and purchased a service contact with them where they'll come out a total of 3 times per year. They were excellent. I will continue to use them in the future.

I thought their charge was outrageous and was very upset. Because of this I'm not sure if I want to use them again. However, their work was fine and the workman that came out was nice.

They didn't charge us after the initial trip charge. The workers were friendly and professional. They were a little frustrated that they couldn't find the cause of the leak at first but they were finally able to track it down and fix it. The leak was not a common one and so it was a very unusual fix. We would hire them again.

I feel confident in their work. I am relaxed about having their staff in my home. I don't have any reason to call anyone else for my plumbing needs, I will continue to use Jarrell. I would recommend them to others as well!

They were pretty quick. They had come recommended from a friend. They were very responsive and took care of business. I would use them again.

The came on time and did the work with no problems. They were very neat in cleaning up after them selves.

JP fixed the toilet in October. Last week the chain broke. I called and they sent someone the very next day to replace it at no charge to me. The service manager Shawn was very helpful.

After a couple of bad experiences with other plumbing contractors, I found Jarrell through Angie's List. Not knowing anything about them, I called them because of the large amount of good recommendations listed. I can tell you I was not disappointed. I was especially pleased to get the work done quickly since our hot water had been out for a few days. And (as luck would have it) the timing was not the best, Christmas Eve day and we had guests coming for dinner. They were extremely professional, courteous and friendly. They phoned early Christmas Eve day to let me know they were on the way. They arrived promptly at 8 am, began work and had everything finished by 5 pm. They cleaned up their work area so well you could never tell they had been there except for the obvious water line trench and the shiny new faucet. Considering the work done and the timing, the cost was very reasonable. I will certainly use them again. Their final bill was exactly the amount originally quoted and there were no surprises or hidden charges. As an option for $99, they also included regular in-home plumbing inspections on all readily accessible plumbing fixtures and materials performed by a licensed plumbing company. Since we have a 90 year old home in an historic neighborhood, this is a good service for us. I have already recommended Jarrell to friends and I recommend them to other Angie List members. You will not be disappointed.

They told me different pricing that they had specials on and when they came out to do the service, they ended up trying to up sell me on everything they quoted me over the phone. The guy that came out tried to use his hand on a pipe and then a wrench, but the pipe was larger than the wrench and then decided to tell me that I should replace the entire garbage disposal since he could not find out what was wrong with it in the first place and was going to charge me $681.00 for this. Then he told me to do a major rebuild for the inside of the toilet, not to replace but to rebuild the inside for $397.00 and then suggested a promo bio clean for $194.00, plus the additional $169.00 fee for the A/C special they were having. In total it ended up being $1300.00 but on the phone they said $169.00 for the A/C and plumbing inspection. I am not happy with them and they tried to take advantage of me.

This is the best heating & A/C company I have dealt with in 40 years! I've dealt with people in the office, and had several servicemen out here. Their workmanship is superb. The guys and the ladies in the office are all just very professional. They're good at communicating with you as a customer. They answer your calls promptly, and if you have a problem they come right out to fix it.

This is the first time I've used this company and I think the price was exorbitant. They did a good job installing it and came when they said.

Could not have been more satisfied. Gary was relentless. We called Thanksgiving morning and they were out here Friday afternoon. They worked until well past dark that day and then came back on Sunday (Saturday had already been scheduled). Gary and an assistant worked all day Sunday, came back on Monday and then finished on Tuesday. They made numerous repairs throughout the time they spent here, and kept us informed at all times. This turned out to be a tough job. They had to spend most of their time in the crawl space under the house (and, believe me, there is not much space between the floor and the ground). They were respectful of our house, cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of our pets. They called every day about 30 minutes before they arrived. They also set up the inspection with the City of Houston permit department, and the inspector arrived as we had been told he would. They followed up to make sure that we passed inspection. All in all, we could not have been more pleased with the service. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Very prompt service. Seemed a little expensive but I did not compare prices. The work was done quickly and quietly.
