She provided excellent service.

She really brought out the best in my vision for our home and redirected me when I got off track - which is exactly what I was needing. Once we are finished decorating our new home, I know it will be all because of her and her great taste. My two favorite things about Missy: She was encouraging when it came to making bold moves and straightforward/honest when asked about an idea. I've already been recommending her and hope to work with her again and again!

Missy was (is) awesome. She contacted me quickly to arrange an appointment, and our meeting went so well that I hired her to assist me with the remodel. She has taken the lead in obtaining bids, and we have gone to design centers and selected all the elements that will be replaced. The work has not yet started, but I have very much enjoyed the experience so far and would recommend Missy to anyone seeking someone that not only has a good eye for design but who is very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Missy Stewart was on time and very professional. She came first to my house to look at the furniture I wanted to take with me to my new place. Then we went to the new Condo in a mid rise downtown. We spent 2 hours going over every room, discussing the best way to place my furniture, or buying new furniture. After this initial visit I hired her back a week later to help me decide where to hang my paintings and prints. I really enjoyed working with Missy and can highly recommend her services.

We bought an older home with a lot of wood paneling and we wanted a professional to help us figure out how to make the home look more contemporary without losing its charm. I found Missy on Angie's list and as soon as I called her and explained our issues, she was on it. She met us the very next day. We walked room by room while she gave us ideas on paint, furniture arrangement... She also gave us some great websites to go to for decorative pieces. Overall, we were really happy with the advice that she gave us.

We recently purchased a house and I was so frustrated about choosing paint, fabric colors, designs...everything! Was ready to give up when I got on Angie's List and read the reviews for Missy Stewart Designs. Everything in a designer that I needed. I had tried other means, but it did not go well. Feeling terribly unbalanced with what I had done on my own, and the $$ I had wasted with failed attempts, it was an incredible relief when she got here and validated some of our ideas that I was afraid to tackle and offered new ones. Missy was so easy to talk and share with. She prevented me from a large project that I had scheduled and would have been disappointed with and the costs it would have involved. Her design was much better!! She has kept me focused, inspired and motivated! Without her I would have suffered from burn-out long before now. It is evident that she is PASSIONATE about her involvement in our home. Her greatest gift to me was to help me out of my "earth tones" comfort zone and dated built-ins. She's a natural design "artist". I can't say enough about how pleased we've been with Missy's work ethics and talent and kindness and we've just begun. It's an ongoing effort.....and I'm so excited that she's involved!

Missy was very helpful with our first consult. We were looking for some overall design help to make our home feel more lived in. She actually helped me move furniture and get the design I was looking for right away. We spoke about painting our fireplace and bathroom cabinets a bold color of black. We have taken the first step by painting the bathroom cabinets black and they look great. We are still working on completing our fireplace, but excited to see what the final product will look like. Next, Missy recommended a new piece of furniture for our TV to update the look in our family room. She recommended a new red credenza that would be an eclectic piece to accent the fireplace. Overall, Missy was friendly and professional and was great to work with.

Missy was a huge help in turning our house into a home. She was extremely helpful in re-arranging my current furniture to get the best use of space in my living room. Next, she saved my husband and me a lot of money with her creative ideas and strategies when it came time to purchase our dining room and living room furniture. She also prevented us from making a HUGE mistake by recommending dining chair fabric more durable for kids. With our growing family, we wanted nice furniture without spending a fortune, and Missy helped us create the look we were going for. Her recommendations were right on, and we loved her creativity. In addition to her skills and talents, Missy is a lot of fun to work with! She?s very personable, and loves what she does.

Missy did a fantastic job of picking all the materials and guiding me in the selection of furniture and decorations that compliment my furniture and existing collection of stuff that was really important to me. She has a tactfulway of guiding my selections that result in abeautiful room I never would have arrived at on my own. She also did all the drapes ( curtains to me) including helping me with colors and rod designs. She made the process painless and in fact fun. Missy is the consumate professional always keeping vendors on time and eliminating some that likely would have not worked out. Missyy is great to work with and always on time and prepared. The contractor and other subs who worked on this job only had high praise for Missy. Things ran smoothly at all times and the design and final product were exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Missy for any job you have - big or small - as she is truly the best at what she does. You won't find a more experienced, attentive and talented designer than Missy Stewart.

Missy is a rock star professional who was referred to me, and I am so thankful for that referral! I recently purchased a three story contemporary townhouse and although I wanted to keep the stark, white open feel of the structure, I did not want the environment to be sterile. Missy really got to know my personality and then assisted me with color selections in four rooms. She masterfully "guided" me toward making the best decision based on my personality, giving me "permission" to choose colors that were a bit out of the box from normal, which ultimately were the correct choices for me: a muted gray/brown on one wall in the master bedroom and two walls in the master bath, a dramatic chocolate brown on a single wall in the dining room, a funky orange in the powder room, and an avant garde citriline in my office which looks out onto my lush garden. At the end of the day, I couldn't be happier with my colors. They perfectly reflect my taste, and I owe these choices, in large part, to the masterful expertise of Missy Steward Designs. At a very reasonable $115/hour, I recommend her without hesitation and I will utilize her fine services in the future, should I decide to "mix it up" again.
