Description of Work: Delivered our water heaters the same day that we ordered them. Ordered at 9 am and the delivery truck was in front of our house at 2 pm. Very easy and efficient transaction and they were very helpful on the phone.

Description of Work: They arrive promptly & removed the old water heater & replaced it with a brand new one. The water heater was in the attic in the middle of the house & they took great care not to soil the carpet. Very professional & polite during the entire process.

Description of Work: They installed a new gas water heater. The office staff was very professional and gave me pricing over the phone. I needed service right away because my old water heater was leaking. They came out on the weekend.. I had this work done last year so I don't remember the actual date or the price, but I researched Angie's list and online before calling them and they were priced right. The installer was very professional. My only "complaint" was that I had to schedule with the city to inspect the installation which is the correct and professional thing to do and I know other plumbers don't do it.

Description of Work: Replacement of hot water heater in attic of two story home. The installers were very polite and professional and took extra precautions not to damage walls or carpet. They utilized tarps to cover the carpet to prevent soiling. They made sure that everything was working properly before they left . They cleaned up so well that you would never have known that they were there. Our city required a "permit" which they had and provided us with a copy. Most other companies that I contacted wanted an additional $100.00 because the hot water heater was located in the attic of a two story house and they did not charge for this or any additional needed parts. I would highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to have them provide other services. They are very customer focused, prompt, and professional.

Description of Work: They examined the conditions and saw that a tankless unit would not work in this home. A tankless needs a dedicated gas line and there is only one so it would have to share with the fournace. To supply a dedicated line would be very expensive due to the location of the gas meter. They went to their supplier, picked up a traditional heater and installed.

Description of Work: I had a wter heater fail leaving water pooring down from the attic to the two floors below. The amount of damage was considerable and of course the water service had to bee shut off. This occurred on "Black" friday while I had, for the first time, gone out early in the AM to shop for some specific bargains. I got a specific `great deal' on a LED, 240hrz, 3D, 42" TV at Walmart. I had to find a new water heater and someone who could install it ASAP. I shopped on line and through the Yellow pages. This small business's POC was the owner. He was very helpful in explaining about the features of water heaters and thier relative to service and service life etc.. I thought that we had reached a clear conclusion as to the specific brand, size, and style of a new water heater. He and had a slightly larger water heater than I had had for the price of what other dealers were offerring for the next smaller size. He offerred a larger water heater at a better than average price. I setup a installation appointment. His crew showed early, in fact much eariler than planned. However, as the installation progressed it was determined that the internal heating elements on thier truck were not those ordered. But the crew sent some one back to the shop [15 mi. x2] to get the correct part. So far, except for this part confusion every thing else went quickly. Afterwards, I reviewed thier work and found only a few minor "complaints", which only the position and `level' of the water pan appeared to be "off". The situation hit a snag when I went to settle up with the on site crew. In this company's Yellow Pages ad they indicated that they offerred a "Veterans" discount of 10% as well as a "Aggies List Members" discount of %. I had made understood that I was a member of both of these subset groups. The owner did not bring up any suggestion that both discounts would NOT BE APPLIED TO MY BILL. When I brought this up with the on site crew they were not sure of what the answer was. WE had to call the OWNER who informed me that both discounts would not be allowed. After this was "resolved" the method of payment came up. This became a problem. I first offerred to pay with my debt card, and they ask for a photo ID. I showed them my state drivers license as well as my photo Deptartment of Defence photo ID. I should mention that I have owned this house for 21 years and could demostrate that this is my house, and that I lived there!! The crew told that they had to have my drivers license number. I told them that I had demostrated the license for identification but would NOT give them this number to be recorded. The crew leader then told me that "IT WAS THE LAW THAT I MUST PROVIDE MY DRIVERS LICENSE NUMBER TO THEM" I refused, all explanations were over the head of the crew. I then offerred to pay with a personal check (or credit card for which he wanted the three digit security code on the back of my cards) which had [just ] my name and address on it. I had long ago dropped my DL number and home phone mubers off of my checks. Once again a call to the owner was made. He repeated to "law" business which I rejected as something he know was not true. He finally explained that the real reason was that it facilitated getting the Districk Attorney to pursue a bad check case in case the check proved to be no good. I told him that making it easiler to pursue bad check writers was not something that would induce me to reveal priviledged information that `every consumer advice source' advises not to do. At this point the OWNER WENT INTO A HYPER HOSTILE MODE IN WHICH HE ACCUSED ME OF BEING THE EQUIVALENT OF A CRIMINAL AND THAT" HE WAS GOING TO FILE A LAW SUIT AGAINIST ME THE NEXT DAY'. THIS WAS A WAY OVERBOARD INSULT, SO I TOLD HIM I WOULD SEND HIM A CHECK THE NEXT DAY FOR THE FULL PRICE THAT WE HAD NOW REACHED. I SENT THE CHECK THE NEXT DAY. THE OWNER, HOWEVER, SENT A INSULTING LETTER REPEATING THE DEROGATIVE LABELS OF ME AND THE THREAT OF FILING A LAW SUIT [OVER THE $1,100.++ BILL]. I ADDED A NOTE TO A COPY OF HIS LETTER THAT IT WAS UNDORTUNATE THAT HE MUST HAVE A SIGNIFICANT PROBLEM that he would so quickly and severly destory all of the good will that he and his crew had built up with me. It is a surprize to me that a small business owner, in any business, would not value his business's Goodwill and how easiy it can be given up by such conduct.
