From the first to last call to Steve, we have very much enjoyed our experience with this company. Our 18 year old water heater finally started to leak, in our search we found all plumbing companies want to charge to come out for an estimate, this was not the case with Steve, he explained our options and quoted us over the phone. Daniel, the installer called prior to coming out, very professional, answered all my questions, did a great job of install and cleanup, also hauled off our old water heater, which many other companies do not do. It is rare now a days to get this type of service. Great company Steve... We Highly Recommend this company for Water Heaters.

Great job. As advertised. On time, protected flooring, wore masks, cleaned up, fair price agreed in advance on phone. No upsells, expanded warranties, maintenance contracts, etc.

Person answering phone very argumentative and said they would not come out unless the system was broke. Would not help even after a second call. They still argued that nothing was wrong with our me being able to explain. After I became a horses rear end he listened but said again as long as it’s working we’re not coming out.

What sold me was the abundance of information I got from this company when I was calling around for quotes. I got a long email with specs, possible costs and helpful details. The technicians called 30 minutes prior to arrival. Arrived promptly. It was raining - they protected my floors and stairs by using shoe coverings and floor drapes. Friendly. Efficient. Respectful. Only took a couple of hours. Cost was as quoted. Very happy with their service. Beauty is not usually connected in thought with a hot water heater. But it was broad and beautiful and gleaming. Just hope it has longevity. I'm confident that this company will continue to provide stellar service if needed.

The entire experience, right from my first phone call thought the final walk-through, was great. I spoke with Steve (owner) and he was very upfront with the price, model, schedule, warranty and other information. It was a no-frills no-pressure quote (compared to a higher quote from Milton Frank and an outrageous quote from John Moore). The technicians was professional, on-time, communicated well and were careful with the home and the floors throughout the installation. All-in-all I got a better make, model and a much longer warranty, all for a much lower price. Very pleased to say the least!

David and Luis were great! We originally wanted a tankless heater, but they were up front that our gas line couldn't support one- more info than I got from the other people who offered estimates. They were very polite, very keen to educate me on what they were doing, and did an excellent job replacing the old water heater and fixing the drainage. They cleaned everything up quickly and the price was very competitive. I would absolutely recommend them.

Our water heater was leaking and needed to be replaced. I started messaging pros over Angie’s list and got very detailed quote with various options on warranty from this guys. Frank explained the same thing over the phone and was able squeeze in an installation same day. Guys who came to install were very professional, explained all requirements and were answering all questions patiently.!they came on time and finished on time with clean work site. Would definitely recommend them

Needed to replace 2 old water heaters located in my attic. Called around and chose Houston Water Heaters (HWH) for the job. They gave me a lot of helpful information on the phone to help me decide on the best heaters to install. They were able to do the job the very next day. Arrived on time, and were courteous and efficient. Job was permitted and passed inspection with no issues. HWH were excellent with communications by phone and email. Would very much recommend for water heater installation.

Overall a good job. Slightly more than I was hoping to pay because of some code adjustments they had to make. (Raising my vent pipe, installing a drain line to the outdoors, replacing some corroded fittings). They were upfront with the costs, very profesional, and the work looks solid. Price includes 1 year labor warranty and 6 year parts. I am waiting for the city to inspect the project, but I expect it will pass.

Their service and price were great. I compared the pricing to other companies and they came out ahead and had a few extras that were included like a leak detector and new pan. They showed up within an hour of calling them and completed the work about 2 hours later. Left the work area very clean and gave me pointers on how to maintain the water heater. With a 12 year warranty, I hope it will be a long time before I need them again, but I will recommend them to my friends and family.

I contacted Houston Water Heaters to inquire about replacing my current water heater. I had used them several years ago at a different address and was satisfied with their services. I got a call back from Steve the owner. A very strange conversation...he asked me a number of questions about my situation and seemed to go out of his way to imply that there were going to be a lot of expensive add-ons to do the work for me. Overall, he seemed very unenthusiastic about doing the job. I asked him for a price estimate and he said he was out of the office and told me to look up the price of a water heater on their web site. He said he was going to his son's baseball game and would contact me the next day to give me an all-in cost estimate. He never called back. I was surprised in that I had previously used them and was satisfied. I think he just didn't want to take on the work...I'm not sure why. I believe that any private business owner should have the right to do work (or not do work) for whomever he pleases. No problem. However, I would have preferred to just hear "sorry, I don't think we want to do the work" rather than communicate that indirectly by just not following up.

It went well initially and started to give me problems after two years. Need to contact them on what is going on.

Messaged them through Angie's List. No reply after days. Called and receptionist told me they don't do maintenance on water heaters not purchased through them and hung up. This should have been listed in their profile

Went pretty well. Install team was friendly and able to provide same day service. Had an issue with the original heater not fitting in the attic door, but they were able to quickly recommend an install an alternative.

Very responsive service. Contacted me right away after inquiring via Angie's List, and scheduled for the next day. Installation went well. Price jumped a bit after some code corrections, however this was expected and they requested approval before taking care of it. Overall, great experience and would hire again.

Steve is professional, knowledgeable and honest. Also willing to answer all questions and provided up front no BS pricing. The staff arrived on time, was professional and competent. Highly recommend company for any water heater needs.

Job well done! the front desk transferred me to a technician immediately and he answered all my questions before I decided to hire them to do the work. Professional work done and cheaper than all the other companies I called.

Quickly and with minimal mess. Polite and cleaned up after. Had to do a little extra work bc apparently it wasn't up to code, but the charge was not outrageous

They were extremely professional and efficient. They recognized my urgent need and were able to schedule the work within 1 day. They were finished in just a few hours and removed the old tanks. Really please with the tankless unit.

I need 2 water heaters replaced in the house, and called them to get a quote, the price is almost $1000 cheaper than the Home depot, so I asked them to come and replace my water heaters. showed up with in an hour with two professionals and replaced it in 3 hours. The job was well done, they also put a alarm for each of the water heater just in case the water leaks. Highly recommend them to anyone. Very good!

The BEST water heater plumbers in Houston!! We were in need of a two new water heaters and a recirculation pump. I was highly selective in choosing them, after searching numerous options. One company quoted $7000. Home depot / ARS quoted $4700. Sears couldn't even give me an accurate quote until I purchased the tanks. Houston Water Heaters gave me an exact quote over the phone for $3900. This was for the TOP of the line 12-year Rheem water heaters!!!! Although their pricing was by far the best, it was their customer service that made me choose them. They were professional and VERY knowledgeable. They explained the technical details that made their Professional Series Rheem far more superior and reliable than the HD "Performance" Rheem. The Professional Rheem has a commercial grade ignition system and better customer support from the manufacturer. Would strongly recommend Upgrading the 8-year tank to a 12-year tank (they will add a second anode rod to preserve the tank). Would also recommend their 6-year parts/labor support direct from them. THANKS TO HOUSTON WATER HEATERS !!!

We called in the morning, and by late morning, the crew was replacing our water heater. Although I feel that we could have gotten a better price, in this instance we were prepared to pay somewhat more for fast, expert service, which is exactly what we got.
