Description of Work: I called the provider to set up a time for him to come by to give me an estimate. He said he could come by tomorrow (Sat). I asked if he could give me an approximate time as I work during the week and I had errands to run on Saturdays. He said he couldn't give me a time and that he probably wasn't the guy for me. Wow. Why are you in business?

 + -1 moreI called Richard and he came out to look at the job the same day. Started work the very next morning and was done by that afternoon. All trash and debris was neatly stacked to be picked up by the city heavy trash service the next day. I was initially shocked and thrilled by how low the estimate was. Once the work was done I was still quite pleased, but the cost didn't seem quite so out of line with the work done. Richard did everything I asked exactly how I asked, but the overall effect on the yard was perhaps less dramatic than I had imagined. Still, I think I'll have him back out in a few weeks to cleanup a little further and then I'll consider setting up a regular maintenance schedule. I get the distinct impression that Richard's service is geared more towards general yardwork and cleanup than plant care and other traditional landscaping services.
Description of Work: Cleanup of small, but badly neglected yard. Did a small amount of tree trimming and mowing and a huge amount of other trimming and cleanup. Cut down several dead banana trees and culled dead leaves from many others. Trimmed all shrubs and bushes way back. Removed much plant debris from all over the lot.

 + -1 moreRichard is courteous and professional. He does an excellent job, leaves my yard looking clean, neat, and beautiful. But mowing is mowing... and I'm not sure, even though Richard did the better job, if it's worth it for me to pay the extra $40 a month.
Description of Work: Richard did an excellent job. I had two different people come out to see who did the better job... and by far it was Richard. Problem is, the other guy was $10 cheaper... and that amounts to $40 a month difference. So... now I have to decide if $40 a month is worth it for mowing. But clearly, Richard did the better job.

 + -1 moreRichard returned my call promptly and came by the next day to give a free estimate, which was extremely reasonable especially given the neglected state of my yard. He was able to complete the work same day and did SUCH a beautiful job. We set up an every other week schedule for him to take care of the yard on an ongoing basis. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work and have already recommended him to several friends and neighbors. My yard has never looked so good!
Description of Work: Mowed & trimmed overgrown lawn with 2 foot high weeds. Cleaned up side yards and front as well as cleared debris from front landscaping.
