I wasn't too happy with it. He just kind of did the bare minimum. He didn't really have a lot of ideas for what to do. The cost stayed at $79. The guy didn't really do exactly what I had asked. I think I had asked him to clean up some of the stuff and potentially give me some estimate for planting some new stuff. He wasn't really responsive. There are better companies out there. If someone was looking at using them, I would tell them to look elsewhere.

It was okay. There were no additional charges. Even though the price was attractive, the amount of work and the results of the work were acceptable. It didn't have a little bit of extra that would make it an "A."

On 9/14, we scheduled for 9/23 at 10am. After my husband waited around for an hour that day, I called to find out if someone was coming. He'd forgotten to put us on his schedule and apologized. I appreciated that he was honest, so I gave him another chance to come on 9/30. He emails that day at 10:45am that he was having truck problems and that he should've told me sooner, but wasn't in his right mind. I was frustrated at that point, but understood things happen. I gave him yet another chance to come on 10/7, at ANY time. At 10am, I get an email asking for my phone number so he can schedule. I reply almost immediately, asking if he's not coming that day (yesterday). No reply, still, so I just asked for a refund. (I'm still undecided about having someone do the work or doing it myself, as it's now been a month since my yard's been mowed.)

The person arrived on time. Although I have an extremely modest sized yard (as my home is only 1560 sf), I wasn't sure all of the required maintenance (i.e cleaning up and turning over the shrub beds, pruning my only row of hedges, etc.) could be performed within the allotted 2 hours. As such, at the outset I asked him that cleaning up the front shrub beds and pruning the row of hedgse be prioritized. Well all he was able to do was cleaning up the front shrub beds and pruning the hedges. HOWEVER, HE DID NOT BAG THE PRUNED LEAVES and left without my having an opportunity to discuss his work. As a result, I was extremely disappointed!

They did okay. The guy was here by himself. I expected a little bit more but he did a good job for what he had to work with. The price was good. I expected them to send more people. They sent one guy and he didn’t get a whole lot accomplished in the contract that he was there. They were very responsive.

I asked for the spiral junipers in the front of my house to be trimmed first. Secondly, I requested my boxwoods, palms and banana trees to be trimmed in that order. He trimmed everything except the Spiral junipers. I was very disappointed, he did not call me to say he ran out of time an did not get to trim the junipers. When called him to find out why he did not trim the Junipers, he said he forgot . He did not offer to come back and finish up.

He came out, and discussed what I wanted done in my 2 hours, we got to the back yard and he said he would not have time for the back, that was ok as I really needed the front done. I have a lot of shrubs that needed a good whacking, but he states he has a gas hedger at home, but all he had was scissors on him but he could still do it with them, he said he didnt know I had shrubs.. any ways, 2 hours later he said he was finished.... he trimmed one of shrubs... no mowing no edging, nothing with my other shrubs... just trimmed about 12 feet of shrubs... 2 hours $80 blown.. My normal yard guys do everything in under 30 min with 2 guys. I would have been a little disappointed if he said it was too much of a job and just left, and got a refund... but I paid $80 to get a small row of hedges trimmed... didnt even touch my small front only yard of grass .

Perfect. The weather was very hot, but he still did a lot of work.

I wanted to go to 2 times per month, and he wanted to increase my price, so I decided to go with someone else. He did do a good job for me, however, I found someone else who would do the job cheaper.

Ordered this service while living in another state. It was performed promptly. Must have taken him all of 30 mins to an hour. Price, in retrospect, outrageous. My own stupidity though. However, that he left ALL OF THE FILLED BAGS SITTING AT THE CURB and did not remove them, is another outrageous matter! The BAGS WERE NEVER PICKED UP by garbage people!!! Several month later I received a warning letter from the HOA ordering me to remove the bags immediately! I had to fly 5,000 mile round trip to do this! BLOODY OUTRAGEOUS.

He had come out, and perfomed service back in July, and we had agreed on a price for monthly service. When he came back the next month, he told me that he could not honor the price he quoted me, and that it was going to be more expensive. He said that my yard was growing too fast.

The provider offered a yard care coupon on Angie's List, and I purchased it. They never contacted me and never responded to my many requests for service. Angie's List tried to contact them, and they still did not respond. I eventually got a refund from Angie's List, and would never use this service. I understand getting overwhelmed by the response from Angie's List. I do not accept never responding and refusing to do the business advertised.

We decided on a price and then later he saw something else that raised the price. We decided on Tuesday for him to come out on Saturday. He was supposed to come out at 9am, I gave him a call and he said that he had forgotten but did recall that we had agreed on Saturday. When he got there, he said he needed payment in cash, which he didn't mention before. I had to go to the bank to get cash. The bank was closed, I had to go to another one, so I ended up being gone for an hour and a half. When I got back, almost nothing was done. He was lying on the ground fanning himself with a hat. The most he did by himself was take the rake and pull up some grass along the fence line. My husband went out there to help him and he ended up doing most of the work. He still didn't do everything that he was supposed to do. I wouldn't recommend to him anyone for anything.

Richard was fast to respond to my request. Showed up on time to perform the service and was a professional. I would use Richard again for my lawn services.

It went wonderful. He came by for an estimate, we approved and he started that same week. He is now scheduled to mow and edge every Thursday. His work was so detailed that I am going to start having him do more around the yard. He is a very honest and polite man. I thought it went great. I've used two other services before and they did not go well.

The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. My grass has nevered looked better.

It went very good. They're punctual.

We've been using him for about 2 years now and intend to continue to do so. He sometimes doesn't make it on our specific "lawn day" but that is usually due to weather. We're not that bothered if the service occurs a day or two later though so I don't consider that a lack of punctuality. If we do need a specific day, he's always obliged us. His price is reasonable and he is friendly and courteous.

The guy came out and was a bit late. He was punctual and took care of everything at first and then the first day he came out he was late. I hire people to do things that I don’t want to do anymore. I used to do it; so I know how I want it to be done. When he came out it didn’t look like he did it all completely. When I approached him about this, he mentioned that he already did it. Then he told me that if I don’t like his service then he would just move on. That was the last time I ever used him.

The gentleman who did the work did an okay job but it was difficult to get them scheduled and calls were not returned in a timely manner.

He was punctual, professional and did quality work. We will continue to use his service in the future and would recommend him to neighbors and friends.

I bought two hours of lawn services as I needed some weeding done before a birthday party at my house. I bought it on a Tuesday and the deal says i'll be contacting within 2 business days. As part of the deal I submitted 3 potential times for the work as requested (Fri, Mon am, Mon pm). I did get an email message on A-list saying he wanted to contact me about doing the work (but that was late in the evening so realistically I didn't see it until the next day). I sent back my phone number and NEVER received a phone call from the provider. Once the Monday I suggested had passed I requested a refund from Angie's List for the service as I was no longer interested in working with the provider. I felt like they were entirely too passive in contacting me, especially given i had already provided 3 different potential times for the work to be done. I would definitely NOT use this provider again based on this experience. For all I know they do quality work but the lack of professionalism/punctuality in responding to me turned me away so I'll never know.

Richard is courteous and performs lawn services in a professional manner. I will definitely use Heavenly Yard Services for future lawn work. Yard looks great!

They were on time, very professional, and did a great job. Will use again if needed.

Well, after texting Richard, emailing him, and calling him he finally communicated and he seems like a decent guy. I may use him in the future but for him to be successful on Angie;s list he needs to communicate promptly.
