Mr. Patrick was easy to contact by phone. He went to our house while we were at work to view our yard and create an estimate, which included the cost of mulch. On the day of service, he was prompt, arriving earlier than expected and beginning work without even ringing the doorbell. He worked alone and VERY hard at bagging leaves/acorns. However, there was misunderstanding during which he initially didn't intend to include mowing/edging into our "yard clean-up" - however he "reviewed his notes" and later performed these services. He worked tirelessly from about 8 to 6 PM, taking only one lunch breach during which time he ran to the store and bought additional mulch for the beds. Because the job took more effort than expected, we were unexpectedly (but politely) charged an additional $100 at the end of the day. When finished, he drove off without saying goodbye, although I had intended to talk to him about continuing his services with weekly yard maintenance. But be warned! About one month later, while mowing our lawn, my husband was approached by a passerby. This man said that he had been walking by our house on the day Mr. Patrick performed our lawn service and was hired on the spot to help with the yard. Because we were inside during most of the day, we didn't notice the additional worker. While I agree that our yard was a big job, I'm a little uncomfortable that Mr. Patrick invited a stranger into our back yard. He never mentioned it to us. Is this standard practice? Overall, Mr. Patrick was a very hard worker whose prices may be a bit higher than others. I don't know that he weeded under the new mulch, but the yard looked great after his service. Although he was easy to reach by phone, I found that communication was a little difficult. His leaving unannounced was a little weird, as was his hiring a stranger off the street to help with the job. I was pleased with the end result but definitely plan to look elsewhere for yard maintenance.

I contacted the provider to request a quote for lawn maintenance. He agreed to come today after 3pm to look at my yard. I have been waiting for him to show up since he called earlier to say he was on his way. He just called again (2 hrs later) to tell me I am too far for him to come and he is cancelling. His description on Angies List of the area he services includes my part of town. I think this is very misleading and inappropriate advertising. I have been sitting around waiting for him when I could have been doing other things. I don't know how folks like him as well as other providers who don't even return phone calls earn such great reviews when they behave so unprofessionally. I am really starting to doubt Angies List. I have the impression that people's friends write reviews about them, rather than actual customers.

Emailed them days ago but never got a reply.

The first time he came out it went, he said he drove by my house and gave me an estimate based upon that inspection. The price was very reasonable, and the job was done great. However, the second time he again said he would come by and give me an estimate and he did. This time he started adding charges for needing lawn bags, and also for all the extra leaves on the ground. This made me question if he had even come by before as the leaves were always there, and it's the law in Houston to use lawn bags so I don't understand why he wouldn't have included them in his estimate that he gave me.

He worked very h****** our lawn for over three hours as I had paid for in the cold rain by himself. He mowed our lawn and trimmed our bushes and was out with the weed wacker and left our lawn looking very good for many many months. In fact our bushes still look great and that was four months ago! He did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone!

Mr. Patrick came over within a day of my first call and gave me a very fair estimate. He scheduled a day to do the work within a week. He arrived at the time he had promised, and he worked hard all day to complete the job. He was very thorough, and I am very pleased with the work he did for me. I will definitely use his services again!

Mr. Patrick did a great job! After doing some research on Angie's List while looking into someone coming out and doing a once-over on the yard I decided to call Heavenly Lawn Services. I had gotten behind on general yard maintainence since the fall and needed someone to come and pick up all the leaves that had fallen. I called Mr. Patrick on a Tuesday afternoon and he was able to swing by the house to give me an estimate within 30 min of my phone call (a very fair estimate, btw). He started work the following afternoon and raked/bagged leaves until dark. He then told me he would be back the next morning to finish up. When I got home from work the next day the yard was SPOTLESS and mowed! He must have bagged over 20 bags of leaves! Mr. Patrick is a man of his word and stayed not just until the job was done, but until the job was done right. He did a great job. I will be a repeat customer.

We contacted the yard service through a friend. TJ and his crew arrived at the expected time and immediately went to work on the garden. They are a friendly, industrious trio that followed instructions to the letter and finished in about 2 hours. All supplies are included in the cost. We are pleased with their work & will have them help us again.

Mr. Patrick is always on time, trustworthy, and posses a strong work ethic. I hired Mr. Patrick to clean up the lawn of my recently purchased home. The lawn had been neglected by the previous owner. I choose Mr. Richard because of his consistently high recommendations on Angie's list. He called me back within an hour of my original call. Met me at my home right on time. The task at hand was very labor intensive, in addition to raking leaves and pruning overgrowth of bushes and low level trees, there were a number of deep rooted large plants I wanted removed. Mr. Patrick performed all of this work by himself over the course of an entire weekend with total attention to detail. I would gladly hire him again. It should be noted that I had a dumpster on location that Mr. Patrick used to depose of lawn debris. He did not have the capability to remove debris on his own. You may need to take this into consideration if your planning a large scale project

Richard did a fantastic job on my yard. I had a tons of leaves that needed to be raked and cleaned up. Some of it I had done myself but the entire front yard right now is dirt due to road construction and it became a larger and larger job. In short, he was on time and did a great job. I will use him for yard work in the future.

The work was done in a quick, efficient and professional manner. He was very courteous and took extra effort to make sure the work was done completely and to my liking. It is unusual these days to have someone offer a speacial deal and actually have them make the extra effort to make sure the job was done right! I reccommend them highly!

My fiance and I recently purchased a house in Garden Oaks on a lot full of old, tall trees, dropping leaves all over our yard, driveway and roof. I wanted to hire someone for the regular upkeep of our yard, but also for cleaning out the very leaf-full gutters and leaf covered roof. I contacted Mr. Patrick based off of the reviews here, and he went out to my house to check the scope of the work the same day I called, gave me an estimate the next day, and performed the work the following day. His work was excellent, and for the amount of work that was required for this first clean up job (cleaning off the roof, cleaning the gutters, leaf clearing from yard and driveway, and regular lawn mainteance), his price was more than fair. After seeing his work, and his costs, I have hired Mr. Patrick for my regular lawn maintenance, starting with every 2 weeks for the rest of winter.

It was a very easy experience. He came over before I left for work. He cleaned up everything by the time I arrived home. He is a very nice person and very easy to work with. He was also the lowest bid for the work.

Mr. Patrick is always prompt, polite and professional. He has done a good job at maintaining our landscaping.

Mr. Patrick is a pleasent man and was very prompt in returning my initial call(s) and showing up for our initial appt. I found his pricing to be a tad higher than others (by about 10-15%), but not so much higher to be a deal-breaker. We'd initially agreed to twice/mo, however after two weeks, the minimal amount of shrubbery, etc. had very little growth--and so I called to delay service for a week, and he showed as scheduled. Then after two weeks he called and same story--and again I requested to delay maintenance by a week. He never showed the following week and I haven't heard from him since (going on three weeks now). I can only assume that every three weeks wasn't worth it to him, but would have appreciated a communication to that end so that I could have made other arrangements--as now it has been five weeks since my last maintenance!

Scheduled appointment, left work early to meet with him. Never showed up. Called 45 minutes later to check status and was told he had been by, but had other things to do. Tried to determine if he had the wrong address, since I was home when he said he had stopped by...but only response I received was "well, we tried"

Richard came out and gave us a bid (actually had to do this twice since I kept changing my mind). Once I approved his bid, we set a date for him to start. Prior to sodding the yard Richard spent almost an entire day preparing the yard. The sodding project had to be delayed a few days because of the flooding since there was no sod available anywhere. He traveled quite a distance to find sod and the first truck load was beautiful! Unfortunately this was not enough so he had to return with more the next day. After he completed the sodding, he spent many hours applying fertilizers. He has also contacted me since to make sure the grass was doing ok.

I knew that Richard would be great when I ran 45 minutes late to our estimate meeting and he was still patiently waiting for me when I finally showed up. I know there are some slightly cheaper alternatives out there, but Richard's service is absolutely outstanding. My lawn looks picture perfect every time, he shows up when he says he will, and, he's a genuinely nice guy to boot. Worth every penny!

Richard's work was top-notch. He arrived on time and worked through some really miserable weather. Very dependable and honest. I highly recommend his services.

It went so well I'll never use anyone else if he's available. Mr. Patrick is that rarity: an honest man who knows what he's doing and takes pride in his work.

Contacted Richard to meet me at the property and provide a quote. He is punctual and the price quoted is the final price. No surprises. The work was performed the same day and the work done was done well. The yard was clean and neat when he finished and all grass trimmings were bagged and hauled off. I gave him a "B" on price, only because I had another quote that was slightly less, however, I did not get the feeling from the other company that they would take the time or care that Richard would. So, I elected to pay a little more for the peace of mind. To be fair, the grass had grown higher than normal, so his price reflected the extra work he would need to do because the yard had not been maintained as often as it should have been. Richard will continue to maintain the yard until the property sells.

Excellent. Richard arrived on time, quoted me $85. I insisted on paying him $100 because it was a miserable job in the heat and he worked so hard to get everything just so. This is a great little company! I will use him for future work in my little garden.

The quality of Richard's work is quite excellent as he is exceptionally meticulous and very methodical. I am delighted with the way my yard looks and with the condition of the flower beds and shrubs. Richard speaks perfect English, which helps a great deal with communication. I would strongly recommend Richard to anyone seeking weekly yard maintenance. I think the price is not exceptionally low, but it is fair. And it is equitable and honest considering how much of himself Richard invests in his work.

Richard was very responsive and willing to come out and quote our removal needs the same day. We booked another company before he was able to arrive and we did not use his services but I would definitely give him a call again in the future.
