I called Harmony Electric to replace a 220-v receptable for my window air conditioning unit. I was adised that a technician would call me back to arrange for an appointment. I never heard from anyone from the company. They probably thought this was such a small job for them. Well, it was too bad. I was going to ask them to replace the electrical panel also if I was satisfied with their work.

Prompt, polite and professional. Will call again for any future electrical needs.

Bishop, the technician, showed up on time and took the time to examine the current set-up before starting his work. He was professional and cordial. After completing the job he cleaned up the debris and helped return the furniture I had moved to expose the outlets. All around this was a good experience and it feels good now to have an electrician I can trust.

After Super Dad was unable to locate the problem and Mom demanded electrical be restored in her kitchen outlets before Thanksgiving, we called Harmony based upon Angie's List reviews. I called on the 14th and was able to schedule someone to be out here 8am the next morning. Our electrician was Calvin S. and he was right on time and called as he pulled in the driveway to let us know he was here. Calvin was polite and professional and went right to work troubleshooting the outlets. He found a minor wiring problem from when the house was built that he corrected, and determined the main issue was a faulty GFI outlet. He had everything replaced and working quickly. Original price was $149, final price $129 with the $20 Angie's List coupon. Thanks Calvin - it was a pleasure to meet you!

Made contact with this company. Promised a call back to arrange service. They did not contact me. Poor customer service in my opinion.

Our lamppost has five sockets that all needed repair. The guys replaced or repaired the five sockets, then installed the new globes we had purchased. Then, we asked them to look at the electrical box on the side of the lamppost. It needed to be replaced, which they did in short order. Both Thomas and Calvin were professional, knowledgable, and friendly. We will definitely call Harmony the next time we need an electrician's services.

The electrician, Bishop, was a really nice guy. He worked quickly, identified the problem immediately, and solved it using a bit of ingenuity. The price was fair. I would recommend them unreservedly. The only reason I rated them less than an "A" for punctuality was an honest miscommunication - my street name sounds remarkably like the name of another street across town. He originally had gone to the wrong address, which unfortunately set him back by an hour. To his great credit, he still showed up with a smile on his face.

We were having difficulty with our office doorbell, we weren't quite sure what the problem was. I contacted Harmony Electric and they were able to send someone out the next day. Calvin was our electrician, he was very nice and able to troubleshoot and fix the problem we were having. We would definitely use them again.

Harmony did a great job. They were punctual, professional and their quote was much more reasonable than the other quote I received. They were informative and offered good solutions.

A storm tore away the conduit and bracket supporting the power line to the house, and the hot power line was hanging 3 1/2 feet from the ground. The box into which the smart meter was plugged was also damaged. They replace the box and conduit and brought everything up to code. I was at work, so the electricians working on it called me periodically to let me know the status of the job. They were friendly, punctual, and did a great job. Dennis and Laura Virgadamo are great folks to do business with. Although my breaker box was replaced by the electrician who installed the Smart Meter 2 years ago, the box was not a box that was up to code (imagine a Reliant contractor doing that!). Dennis quoted me a fair price to replace it and I will have that done later on this summer.

It went very well indeed. We turned to Harmony Electric after having a bad experience with our long-time preferred electrician. Harmony's co-owner, Dennis, promptly returned a page and was able to schedule an appointment with one of their technicians right then and there on the phone. He explained their rates over the phone too. On the allotted day, the technician was a little late owing to traffic. However, he conducted himself in a most professional manner. He was courteous and responsive to our requirements to take care on our wooden floors and around our antiques. He completed the work, despite facing complications with one of the items, in a very timely manner. All four items worked perfectly upon his departure. A very positive experience from initial contact, scheduling, meeting the technician, his conduct of the work and his attitude and demeanor. I will be looking to use Harmony Electric again for future electrical needs.

Do call Harmony Electric for a bid. I was able to take piks of my breaker box and outside componants - then email them in. No don'ts, I am as HAPPY AS A CLAM!

We were hearing and seeing blue sparks (or so we thought) outside of our bedroom early one morning. Freaked out, we called Harmony to see if they would be able to check out ASAP. Dennis answered the phone, and after listening to my story, said he would check to see if one of his technicians would be available that day. A little over an hour and a half later, Bishop showed up. I told him the same story I told Dennis, but when he went outside to where we were seeing things, there wasn't really anything there that may have caused it. After fumbling around a bit with our security light there, he concluded there was a loose bulb. What we were hearing and seeing could've been the light arcing when the wind blew (we'd only notice this phenomenon on windy nights). I was feeling a bit ridiculous having made a big deal of something that turned out to be nothing, but Bishop was understanding and didn't make me feel bad about it. We've had some bad weather come through since Harmony has been out, which included some heavier wind, and we haven't noticed the same phenomenon. Since we had an electrician out, we decided to have a few annoying little things finally checked out. Bishop rewired a timer for a light on the side of our house that hasn't been working since we moved in ~3 years ago. I was thinking that the timer might need to be replaced, but after Bishop worked his magic, we had a working light there for the first time. He also replaced a shorted switch for our porch light. Lastly, I wanted him to take a look at our doorbell. We have never heard this doorbell since we moved in, and we thought it was an electrical issue. Turned out that the doorbell was a wireless doorbell, but the chime was either accidentally taken by the previous owner or misplaced by us not knowing what it was. I didn't even know wireless doorbells existed! Once again, Bishop was very understanding of my electrical ignorance. We had a great experience and would recommend them to anybody looking for an electrician!

They were great to work with from the beginning. They were responsive in scheduling the visit for the quote, and delivered the quote quickly. The price was significantly less than a quote from another electrician. The work was done in the estimated amount of time, and on the originally scheduled day. Dennis Virgadamo was easy to reach and always responded promptly. The work looks very good.

A week away from moving out of our house we realized we had not taken care of the small electrical issues promised to be fixed for the buyer. Though the issues were small, getting someone out on short notice at a reasonable cost was something that concerned us. We contacted Harmony on Friday morning, and they responded nearly immediately via email and were able to schedule something the same afternoon. Calvin was helpful and able to get the work done in about an hour. We used a $20 off coupon from Angie's list as well. Great service! We are moving down to Missouri City but would recommend Harmony to anyone in the city in a heartbeat.

Raoul was prompt, courteous & knowledgeable. He spent two hours including time in the attic to rewire a faulty doorbell. He also looked at a problem with our ceiling fan & after determining that the fan was dead, he gave us the option of replacing the fan ourselves or paying for that service. We chose to replace the fan ourselves. Overall we were happy with the service especially after being blown off by two other electric repair companies.

We have an old building that was apparently formed by combining two existing structures many years ago. As a result, the wiring was both ancient and involves two different electrical meters, which does not meet city code. A city inspector told us we had to update the wiring and switch to a single meter.Harmony Electric provided a prompt quote, then handled the permit and notification process for us with the city. When the job proved a bit more complicated than they'd expected, they stuck with their original quote. I would completely recommend them for anyone needing serious wiring or electrical work done.

I thought it went ok except it took a while for Raoul to return due to traffic. The job itself was a simple "out with the old and in with the new." I felt the labor charge portion was a bit stiff even though I realize most contractors charge $100 just to show up at the door. This was closer to $200. I did have a $20 coupon I applied or it would have been higher. I've used Harmony before and Raoul did a good job then too but neither of my jobs was difficult or time consuming when it came to labor.
