Guardian Windows

Finally broke down and replaced the single pane, painted shut (most of them), inefficient windows on our 90 yr old home. We were worried how new, modern vinyl windows would look on this old cottage. Marty was spot on with what we wanted. He brought only one sample into the house, as he knew it would be the best choice overall. We didn't even talk with another window company, as Marty was not pushy like other salespeople usually are in his business. We felt very comfortable with his approach to our needs and wants, and extremely happy with his pricing. Thanks Marty! Now, as for David, the installer. What a great guy, too. He was very careful with our home, so as not to damage anything inside and out. He and his assistant, Jose, I mean Anthony (inside joke!), also took great care in removing the old windows with that original wavy old glass, as we donated them to Habitat Restore for someone else to enjoy. He brought his daughter out on the second day to help. She did a great job with the trim outside and cleaning the windows down. I really enjoyed their company while they were here. David also replaced a couple of pieces of siding, from where a beekeeper had to remove a hive the week before! The windows look great...our home is so quiet now...and the a/c doesn't run constantly! Thanks again, guys! We love our new windows, and the look of our home!

My wife and I have just had all new windows installed by Guardian Windows. We had a wonderful experience. The owner, Marty Scarpati, came to the house and made a very professional presentation. His pricing was excellent and we ordered the windows. He said they will probably arrive in 7 to 8 weeks. We were pleasantly surprised when they arrived in 5 weeks. We had a wonderful experience. Everything was done with great care -- exactly as we were told it would be. The installers, David Flores and Joe Cruz, came on time, worked efficiently and took pride in their work. They protected our belongings, and they were neat and clean. The end result was a beautiful job, and we are very pleased. We would highly recommend Guardian Windows.

Ron's crew arrived on time, even a little early, and did a great all-around job of preparing, installing the windows, and cleaning up after themselves. It's hard to think of how it could have gone much better.

Marty came out and gave a good vibe compared to the other companies (got 5 other quotes). His was not the lowest but not the highest. There was some negotiations although we did not use the Angie List coupon. Why we choose Guardian: 1. Excellent ratings 2. Professionalism from sales to install 3. Not pushy/down to earth 4. Locally made windows (ordered & installed in 22 days) 5. I considered replacing windows myself but did not want to get stuck with windows I mistakenly measured. Marty & the installer, David came out two times to measure windows. 6. Great value compared to other windows 7. Other windows are not designed for Houston's weather Impressions during install: 1. David was very nice, personable and professional 2. I had to leave for work and the job wasn't done yet. He gave me a brief overview of windows before I left. 3. 2 people to install 18 windows maybe a lot for one day. My wife said they were visibly tired at the end of the day. 4. Crew was really careful with home interior Impressions after install: 1. Great Quality windows compared to lowest bid. Great value for the money. 2. Caulking was good, but needed touch up in some places. Called and David was great at coming back to touch up. 3. Some paint around window did chip off during install. This is normal and was acceptable. 4. Since old windows needed to be broken down, there were some very very small pieces glass and other debris in the yard. I don't think this is a huge issue for major renovation jobs; just be careful. They finished @ night so there was probably poor lighting. We really really love our new windows. The trim color matched nicely, its so much more quiet and we can feel the AC not kick on as much. Thanks guys!

Ron, Mark and the crew arrived early Friday morning. They were very organized, efficient and even entertaining with their witty repartee. Nevertheless, they were very focused with zero down time. The finished work quality is excellent and thorough. I would strongly recommend Guardian Windows to anyone searching for window replacement. These people are the best.

The crew of Ron and Mark arrived exactly on time 6:30 am. That already impressed me. Each one on the crew Introduced themselves. They started work and never even took a break. Ron was very friendly (even gave me tomatoes from his garden) and told me exactly what was going on. The whole crew worked as a team and everyone knew what they needed to do. Was very impressed at their work ethic. Very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone. We.will use them again.

I had three bids done, one of them being Guardian Windows. They weren't the highest price but they weren't the cheapest either. I wanted good quality windows that were both efficient AND beautiful; I received both. Marty came to my house to look at my old windows and give me a quote to replace them. He showed me the different types of windows and I chose the best ones that would fit my needs. I cannot explain to you how nice it was to not feel the need to take a shower afterwards (you know, like I did the other salesmen). One of the reasons I chose Guardian was because the windows are made locally - I always try to support local businesses when I can. I placed the order on the spot and he said David would come by and measure them; he'd also be the installer and they'll be ready in 5-6 weeks, which fit with my schedule. Well, they were ready WEEKS early. Not exactly ideal but quite frankly, I was excited to get them in. David called to tell me they were in and within a week he scheduled the install. David and Joe showed up right on time, ready to go. Unlike others I didn't have to take down my curtains or move furniture for them prior to arrival, David and Joe took care of everything. David took care of talking to the window company, telling them of things they didn't do properly (I didn't know....David did) . He was meticulous in his finished product. He made sure the windows were installed properly, looked fabulous and that they were perfectly sealed once complete. He walked around the house several making sure it looks right and if it didn't, he'd fix it (again, I didn't have to say a WORD, he caught everything before I did). The entire process went smooth and was painless. I'm very happy I chose Guardian for my windows. But let me tell you - David is in a league of his own, he's Guardian's shining star!!!

He came out and told me I didn't need new windows, So I requested a refund.

From the first hello to our last good-bye, the experience was wonderful! From Marty meeting us at our home and giving us straight forward information and a great quote, to Carol for scheduling our job and keeping us informed as to what and when to expect the job to be done, wonderful! Top-notch! I tried to come up with one bad thing to say about this highly organized, competent, efficient, & gregarious team of men (& one lady), & I couldn't. They worked smart and quickly as each had a clearly delineated area of expertise, and together the team worked like a well-oiled machine. Ron & three other guys showed up before 6:30 in the morning, worked straight through, & were finished one minute before noon. The new Showcase windows look like a million bucks. Our gratitude to Marty, Carol, Ron, & the crew for delivering in a timely manner exactly what they promised (actually, surpassing our expectations).

We received 4 quotes for windows but chose Guardian because of the great things people have said about their service and the price was great too. We have totally remodeled a house built in 1968 and having Guardian replace our windows was by far the best money spent and the smoothest part of the project. We couldn't have picked better people to do the work. Marty said he wanted to complete the job by Christmas and it's done. David, Joe and Joe did a fabulous job. All 22 windows installed in less than 2 days. THANKS for a job well done! If we ever need window work again, I know who I'm calling.

It went fantastic. Very professional. Their pricing is very competitive and the quality of their windows seems to be great. We were very pleased with the workers that came to do the work. They worked very hard and quickly and made sure that were were happy. They cleaned up all of their mess as well. I would highly recommend this company as well as use them again if need be!!

They did an excellent job for us. Great price for all the windows we replaced. We got a bid for 3 x's what Guardian gave us for the same windows. They showed up on time or earlier and worked through until the job was done. They were very diligent cleaning up after themseves. Couldn't be happier with their work or the results.

Ron and Carol Hopper's Team were awesome! Carol did a perfect job of keeping me informed of delivery and installation times. She was a complete pleasure to deal with. Very personable. Ron's Installation Team were fantastic! They were very prompt with arriving for installation and were a pleasure to have here re-doing my windows. The team were all very friendly and had extensive knowledge about their products and services. A total "two thumbs up" on this team and job. I am recommending this company and installers to all my friends!!!! The window delivery company was delayed in delivering my new windows, so Ron and Carol's Team used their time wisely by installing the new windows that arrived on time, then coming back promptly when the rest of the windows were delivered. Ron and his team were very considerate of my work schedule and worked extra hard to complete the job so I was not late for work. They were very neat and clean from start to finish. These guys work very well together and apparently love what they do. What a pleasure!!! Awesome company and awesome team.

Last year I had new Guardian Windows installed throughout the house and they have exceeded my expectations so I once again called Marty to install 2 new sliding doors. The doors are far sturdier than I expected sliding doors to be and the security they provide is appreciated! They same work crew who installed the windows, installed the doors so I knew the work would be done well. Ron and his crew do superior work and adhere to the "do it right or don't do it at all" practice which I believe makes them the best. One of the old doors was a continuous water, air, etc. problem and Ron took special care to make sure it was sealed tight. The doors have the same sun reflective level as the windows and look great! Anyone considering new windows or doors should definitely call Marty at Guardian Windows. They have exceptional products and exemplary service.

We recently bought an older home with original single pane aluminum windows from the 1950s. One of the first things we did was have multiple window installers come out and give us estimates. Guardian Windows (Marty) was the last one to come out and give us an estimate, but we are very glad we talked to him! His explanation of the windows and example products were very useful and although we had other estimates that were lower, he worked with us on the price to make Guardian Windows the clear choice. Overall we ordered/replaced more than 25 windows. Throughout the process Marty and his team (David) were incredibly helpful and professional. They arrived on time, got the old windows removed, and the new windows installed in a single day! We went with the "Showcase" line of windows and they really look amazing and are top quality. There was a mistake in our window order where a window was not measured/included in the original order, but we also were not charged for it originally. When the mistake was realized Marty did a rush order on the window and included it at no additional cost. Guardian Windows absolutely cares about customer satisfaction. We have put over $100k into remodeling our homes using only top rated Angies List contractors, and Guardian Windows has been the best to work with out of the entire bunch. Issues come up all the time with these kind of projects and it was a breath of fresh air to see how Guardian Windows bent over backwards to make sure we were happy with the results and at no additional cost. I cannot recommend them highly enough! You will not regret going with Guardian Windows.

Where to begin? From Marty's initial visit which was informative and professional to his terrific installers, this job was a walk in the park! Ron and his crew of 3 began work promptly at 6:30 a.m. and were finished in 4 hours. Ron's wife, Carol, provided office support which was always professional, courteous and accurate. I chose the Showcase windows and am sure I'll be very happy with them - they are beautiful. The crew treated my house as if it were their own - carefully covering everything (inside and out), vacuuming and cleaning up all debris. This kind of work ethic is hard to find these days, so I was thrilled that they exceeded my expectations in that area. They worked well as a team and seemed to enjoy their work and each other! I highly recommend this company and would hire them again. I also appreciated that my old aluminum window frames were recycled. Thanks Marty and Ron for a job well done!

This is the second time I have used Guardian Windows. Last summer I used them and had them replace 6 double pane windows in my home. That process was wonderful. This time I had Guardian replace the last 10 double pane windows in my home. I find the quality of their products to be far superior to many other window companies. His installation crew is amazing. They are respectful of my property and of me. They take great pride in their work and it shows in the quality of their installation. I have used their company twice and for replacement windows I will use no other. Marty the owner is a very good person and will come himself to measure and price your windows.

Being Marty had already replaced 11 window and his crew did such a great job I had come back out to replace the rest of the window. Highly recommend Guardian Windows.

Marty came over and demonstrated the windows which are manufactured in Houston. I was impressed with the quality, strength and efficiency of the windows. His price was excellent and given Guardian's past reputation on Angies list, I decided to have his Company replace the Windows. His best Installation crew headed up by Ron Hopper performed the installation. He and his crew were amazing. They are very professional and came early with a 5 man crew all of whom are extremely courteous and highly efficient. Needless to say I was very impressed. Not only did the installation go flawlessly they carefully cleaned up and left the home in perfect condition. Ron mentioned to me that he noticed a scratch in one window and told me not to worry about it. He will contact the manufacturer who will come out to replace the window. In addition, when the Windows were delivered the previous day, I was informed the screens would be forthcoming of which I have every confidence. I was truly impressed with Guardian, the product, price and particularly Ron and his crew. I would certainly use them again and would highly recommend this Company to anyone in need of a Window replacement.

They arrived after we established a contract and professionally installed all 11 windows.Martin worked on the inside and his coworker outside.They prepped the area and kept all trash and mess tyo a minimum.They worked very professionally and I was able to return home and found my new windows installed and functional. The work was well done and with very little nose ,trash or mess.The clean up was impeccable. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We had obtained 4 other estimates for the job before meeting with Marty. 2 were way too expensive and 1 of those did not even support their cost with a lifetime warranty. Another showed failures in communication in just trying to get an estimate. The last one was inexpensive but we felt the product was poor quality and later read poor reviews regarding warranty support. Guardian had great reviews and lived up to expectations. Despite our home having very large and several specialty windows, our order was ready and installation scheduled in just 4 weeks. We had great communication on window delivery date, how to ensure house and yard were prepped (one window had bushes against it that needs to be trimmed back) and install dates and times. Ron's crew showed up early (they say 7am but they'll be there at 6:30) and worked until 12-1 both days. You could tell they were an efficient team. All work was completed on schedule and clean up was very well done as well. The new windows look fabulous and we have already noticed the house is cooler and quieter. I could not be happier with the product and service received. Thanks again, Marty, Carol, Ron and your crew!
