Great Priced Granite

JUST OK, DID NOT LIKE THE QUALITY OF WORK.

Sarah always provided great customer service when I called. Marco and Marco Jr were quick and efficient. They also did a great job at cleanup.

It was a little more expensive than we thought initially but at the end of the day we had added a lot of extras. We upgraded the granite (personal choice) Granite is granite but the upgraded was the color we wanted. They did demo and removal and plumbing of new faucets. Just remember when you do it it's probably going to be more than you anticipated. We are very pleased with the whole project. they were on time, prepared and easy to work with. I would definitely use them again.

He was very good and an extremely nice guy. The only reason I didn't do this service was because it would have voided my warranty on my plumbing. Other than that the company was great.

Employees did okay but broke the lead glass to my front door. Mr Mendez refused to investigate and take responsibility. I've since had to sue. I now have default judgement against Mr Mendez.

As far as the demolition and install it was fine. There was an issue with the employees breaking the front glass on my door on the day of the work. He has never responded to any of my calls. I had to start all conversations about the issue. The only thing he has done is ask his employees and they said they did not do it and that is all he is willing to do. I had to block my phone number when I call him to even get him to answer. I have also put in a complaint with the BBB.

Work went very well! Hardworking crew that did a thorough and cheap job

Price was great. Installers did a great job and very quickly. Would recommend.

The difficulties with this Job were self- Inflicted by Great Priced Granite and all began with the loss of original Marble valued at approximately $600 dollars. $600 is half of the original whole slab price that was to be kept intact for the second bathroom and utilized after the master bath remodel was complete. In preparation for the second bathroom we inquired multiple times to insure that the marble was still in Great Priced Granite?s possession and were assured that all was well and on track. Secondly the situation was compounded by installation of Material that was not our original slab thus requiring subsequent removal. It?s important to note had this installed material had not been such lower in grade along with the substandard installation workmanship we might have been able to come to resolution and accept it. However Great Priced Granite agreed to replace the installed marble and we found that to be acceptable. We made a good faith effort Memorial Day weekend, after the original marble was lost, to travel at our inconvenience to the other side of town on the other side of Houston to meet you and identify a replacement Marble, which due to its representation at the shop looked well enough but its inherent flaws (deep cracks) could not be identified there and only showed themselves yesterday when the marble was dropped off in the morning of the work. Two of these pre-fabrication pieces of the second Marble slab (vanity top and shower curb), were not acceptable for use due to being deeply flawed with cracks. Mr. Mendez of Great Priced Granite then simply walked off the job and refused to complete the work. Written correspondence was sent to Great Priced Granite in an attempt to work through these issues, which we the homeowner did not bring about, and complete the installation, and asked for additional granite to replace the bad pieces. Additionally the original sink had to be replaced because it could not be reinstalled according the installer. We never heard back from Great Priced Granite they never attempted to provide additional marble to replace the second lot of flawed material. We are out the cost of the lost marble at $600 plus the cost of the replacement sink. We asked that Great Priced Granite provide restitution of $700 dollars for our monetary loss as subsequently we decided to move forward by purchasing additional granite ourselves and higher another marble contractor.

Great Priced Granite did a great job. Painless process. In and out in a day and half. Professional, clean, punctual. I will be using these guys on every granite job I have. Highly recommended. Granite looks great and they went above any beyond what any normal sub would have done. Asset to Angies List.

I purchased a "deal" from this provided, which was 75.00$ to clean and seal our counter tops. Like many of you may have done before, you select what dates work for you after you have completed a purchase. I chose the three days that my husband and I would be available. The first week, no one shows up on the selected days. Friday afternoon was our last choice, so I called on the day before to verify if they were going to come on that Friday to complete the work. When I called, Natalia told me that she had already spoken with my husband and said they would be coming out on that following Friday. When I asked my husband this he said that he never spoke with her about Friday. I left it since she said they were coming out. Friday comes along and no one shows up, yet again. I try to contact the business. Finally someone reached out to me and apologizes for not showing up. We reschedule again. Again, I select MWF because these are our available days. Instead, Natailia messages me back saying they want to come out on a Tuesday. We were tired of being stood up, so we say yes to the Tuesday. The workers come in and wiped our counter tops with paint thinner and then leave us a check for 75.00$ refunding us. We did not want a refund, what we wanted was the work done on our counter tops. My advice is, if you have a "deal" out there, which you think the work and time is not worth spending at the customer's who purchase these, then do not offer deals like this.

Overall the price was right, they were responsive, and professional.

Met with person who was to measure for the quote on Friday, January 15th. He measured and took pictures. Received a call on Weds, Jan 20, asking it they could come back out to verify some measurements. They were told no as the house is vacant and it is 45 minutes away for someone to open it up. When I received the quote today, the quote was not complete and had the wrong information on it. The two additional quotes for the bathrooms were not included. I called and asked about the missing quotes and my questions regarding the wrong, missing and unclear information. They were not able to address the questions properly and said the quotes for the bathrooms would only be provided after the kitchen quote was completed. Not being able to answer questions or provide the additional quotes as requested made me very uneasy. I do not think I can trust this company to do a decent job. I will go else where for the granite replacement. I would be very wary to use a company that does not provide a detail estimate with ALL costs outlined in a clear fashion.

Excellent work, no mess Beautiful

It (vanity) was actually quite small so the deal was more or less a break-even adventure. It was fairly easy to schedule the install. Keep in mind the big deal does not include faucet removal or install, that was an upcharge. Also we only got to select from about 6 granites - none of which were exactly great. At the price point it was an ok deal but by the "Drive out" price it was comparable to average install prices in my area.

We purchased two big deals for new bathroom granite counter tops. Everyone at Great Priced Granite were a pleasure to deal with both on the phone and in person. They made arrangements for us to be met at the granite yard and we selected the granite and the sinks. On the day of the installation the crew arrived about an hour early, but waited for us to be ready for them. They removed the old laminate counter tops and backsplash and installed new granite counter tops and backsplash. There was an extra fee for the backsplashes and faucet installation. They cleaned up nicely and worked very efficiently. I would recommend them highly.

I could not be happier with the job that Great Priced Granite did for us. They were punctual in scheduling, estimating and performing the job.

Great Price Granite offered a "special" for bathroom granite and sink for $349. The dimensions of the counter top to be covered and sink were very specific so if a customer has a different size counter top to be replaced, it becomes "custom", which is what our job was since there were 2 counter tops with different dimensions. That's all good and their price was good. The young man they sent to estimate and take photos arrived on time and brought samples of the granite they offer from which I made a selection. I said installation could take place on Friday, Oct. 30. However, the next day (Fri. Oct. 23), the young lady in the office called to say I needed to go to a granite yard to pick out the slab for the job. Although the job only required a half slab, the slab yard only sells them as whole slabs. I was able to go on Mon. 26th. They came back by to get a deposit check for half of the proposed $1500+ fee. No problem. Then we had to make a change in our plans so I called to ask if installation couldn't be 2 weeks later. Mr. Mendez didn't like that so returned my deposit to me and cancelled the installation.

The entire process was seamless. I emailed them my measurements to get a rough estimate. I got a great price and scheduled them to come out to do the formal measurements. I went out and picked my granite and then scheduled for installation. The crew showed up on time and was totally professional. They made sure I was happy with each aspect of the installation. They did an outstanding job. They also cleaned up after they were done. Later the plumbers came and connected my new sink and gas cooktop. They did a great job as well. I am totally satisfied. Everyone I talked to was friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They came as stated. Started working on time but when the counter-tops were beginning to come together, I thought the stone looked darker than the sample. But later found out that it was the same color I chose. They were very paient with me and invited me to the store to take a look. Carlos and Marco were very professional and cortious. My counter-tops are beautiful. I wound recommend this company for granite work. I have already scheduled them for my bathroom sink counter-top installment.

scheduling was very quick, they came out and measured and had me pick out the granite, and within days were back with their crew to remove old counter, cut granite onsite and install everything. I was extremely impressed. Very professional, very friendly, cleaned up after themselves. Really a great experience.

The crew of three worked efficiently and quickly. They set up a canopy tent in our driveway and finished the job in one day. They also cleaned up after themselves.We were happy with the job and the owner's honest effort to make sure the project was done correctly.
