I spoke with Sarah on Wednesday about having someone come check the roof because of a leak. She told me that Anthony would come out on Friday afternoon and that she would call me back to confirm. On Friday when she hadn't called, I called her. She said that I should have gotten an automated call telling me that my appointment was on Saturday and that she was waiting to hear from me. No call was received on either of the numbers I had given her. She asked what time on Saturday worked for me. I said 9:30 - 10:30. She told me that it would be closer to 10:30. I waited around Saturday morning. No one showed up. I got a call from Anthony at 1:30. Apparently he knew nothing about the appointment. I don't do business with people who don't respect others' time.

The owner Anthony Ledford came out in response to a coupon listed on Angie's List. The coupon offered a specific price from Flagstone Roofing. Anthony evaluated my roof, agreed his company could perform the roof replacement for the coupon price. We discuss materials as I had done my homework with regards to researching the correct roofing materials to be used. Also since I live in a planned community there are covenants, which require specific roofing materials to be used, those covenants or restrictions must be met in writing before any work could take place. Once I submitted my request for improvements to my homeowner association and they approved I contacted Anthony to set a work date. Anthony had the materials delivered to my home, that same morning he and his crew arrived and they went to work. The job was completed in 1 day as promise, Anthony and his crew were very thorough, any question I had he answered. The best thing of all was my satellite dish had to be removed. It's a routine process when the dish is located on the roof. I knew that there was a very high probability that the dish would not be located exactly in the position it was prior to removal. Therefore making my TV's not function. Anthony promise his crew would relocate the dish and it would work. I didn't confront him about this I just allowed Anthony and his crew to try, they did and were not successful. As a result I had to call a satellite repair technician to correctly relocate the dish (it has something to do with precision alignment). Anthony advised not to worry, have the technician relocate the dish and he would pay for the cost to do so. Well I faxed the bill to Anthony's office and he personally came out and wrote me a check for the amount it cost me. I couldn't have ask for any more. Very smooth process and very quick turnaround and completion.

The owner was very punctual. He had a couple of roofers with him that ran a little late, but I was satisfied that they performed a quality estimate. The company provides a lot of referals, and insurance information to reassure customers as well. This was not the cheapest of all my estimates. However, it was not the most expensive either. A good candidate for roofing service.

Very responsive great service quality work and very reasonable initially. However, about 2 years later the roof started to leak and they have not addressed the issue other than send a couple of guys out to do some caulking. It takes weeks for them to get back to me and only after repeated phone calls. Roof still leaks and they do not respond to my calls for an inspection to identify what is going on. I am not even blaming them, I just want the problem assessed and fixed but they seem to not care. They are awful on follow up. Going to use another company that identified the problem and is scheduled to fix it.

It all happened more quickly than we imagined. They were prompt, professional and through. Very easy to work with.

Anthony, the owner, personally returned my call and promptly evaluated my mother's roof that same day. He quickly gave me a quote with detailed and specific job description. After we agreed upon the price, Anthony and his crew completed the roof in one day as discussed. Excellent follow up. I highly recommend Anthony if you need a new roof.

The price was right, and the time commitments were met. Quality practices and materials! The clean up was thorough, and the job was completed as committed.

They were pretty responsive and talked with me while they were giving me the quote but their price was not a low as another company's. They were nice and quick to get back with me.

Using Angie's List as a starting point I had expected far better service.

Started Friday, finished on Saturday showed up on time and finished on time. Very reasonable on price. Will use again.

It was about time to have our roof replaced. We were visiting the in laws for the kid's spring break and their neighbors were having some work done. Mainly windows and part of their roof. Had a few conversations with Ledford Sr. and realized then I could trust this man with my roof and home. Everything from the first encounter to the thank you gift card at the end was wonderful. Not only were these guys professional but made sure they had human contact, personal really. It's weird to say that, but it is true nowadays people jump at the opportunity at being impersonal for the sake of being safe. That to me makes the biggest difference, end of rant. Again since I work from home, I let Flagstone know from the get go that a few adjustments in time would have to do. They were very accommodating and thinking through it all a week later, I realize that could not have gone any smoother.

Generally, I do not...and I emphasize on do NOT like to have any work done on my house. Now, when the time requires it, I basically have no choice. Our roof was damaged a lot more than I initially expected. Let's just say this storm season was not kind to us at all. You'd be surprised where leaks find the oddest of places to be. I called a couple of friends, and I had several companies lined up. I chose at random on who to call first, and Flagstone was it. Initially, I was a bit reluctant since they said they would give me a free estimate and where estimates are concerned, if they are free there must always be a catch. There wasn't. It just goes to show you sometimes humans can be decent enough to give it to you fair and straight. We had a couple of calls and a bit of a hassle from the insurance adjustors initially but it was the work that I was worried about. Like I said before, to me having work done at home feels like living in a construction yard. To me my home is my temple, simple as that. I let Anthony now from the get go, that if he stayed out of my way and me of his..we would be okay. Needless to say, he listened and responded more than adequately. Honestly, I never thought I'd say this but it is one of the few times I would want workers as professional as they were back. -M

Calling Flagstone, and the Ledfords specifically was a godsend. We were able to call them last minute, and despite the initial phone tag (on our part) everything went better then expected. My job moved my family to San Antonio and in between taking care of the house, and we intended in leaving it better than we found it for our son and his college friends. That said, when we had contact with Flagstone it was prompt and professional. You could tell off the bat that they have been around for quite a while, and it showed. As soon as we were able to get Ledford Sr. to get an estimate, he was able to explain in detail what was to be expected and the prices, services, and attitude matched. Before we were to leave the city, we looked for roofers that could meet our needs and Flagstone was just that. Now that the work is done and we turn over the house completely to our son, we rely on the work done.(mainly because a few of our architect friends, said even they had seen the same work, but for ridiculous prices. Recommend to anyone I know that needs the work done and all of my Angieslist friends.

The company met with my insurance adjustor and got them to pay for a whole roof. They know what they are doing, previously I had a claim rejected but they were able to show my insurance the damage. I had a great overall experience. The owner Anthony was in the job site the whole time and his son Justin was also very helpful. Some of my neighbors are getting their new roofs with them too! They completed the job in 2 days and even cleaned my lawn! They are very quick and clean. I recommend them to everyone! They really know roofing!!!
