Called and talked to person who took a message for someone to get back to me about a roof replacement. No one called back, so I emailed through Angie's list but never received a response.

Anthony did a great job on the front end of job. Always met appointments on time, met with insurance adjuster. He has a very strong customer service and follow up. Overall great job!

I try to take others comments into account, but I also realize that some people don?t communicate well or they expect to be next in line for work when a company has other customers waiting. Knowing this can happen I didn?t take too much stock in a couple of vague grumblings when I read the reviews. Especially someone who gave a B rating because weather kept this company from being able to get to them right away. I really think this shouldn?t even be allowed?the ?work? should be judged not the weather. I called Flagstone Roofing and the receptionist was polite and had someone return my call right away. I explained that I had water coming in through an upstairs bathroom. Anthony Ledford, the owner, responded in a professional manner, setting up an appointment as quickly as he could. The fortunate thing for me was that we live very near each other. I can?t tell you how relieved we were to get the help and to be dealing with such a nice bunch of folks. Anthony and his son both responded to our call as soon as they could and although they could not fix it immediately because they were on their way to another appointment they came back in a timely manner to help us with our problem. We were so afraid that we were going to hear that our roof needed to be replaced or an expensive patch?quite to the contrary. Anthony gave a very honest assessment of the situation and it didn?t involve costly replacement of the roof. It is so important to be able to rely and trust those assessing such things because it is much like going to the auto repair man?if you don?t know anything about cars then you are at their mercy. This is much the same with roofing companies, they could tell us just about anything and if you didn?t know better and the next thing you know you are replacing a roof. I have the utmost confidence in Anthony and his son. I love that this is a family business and they take such pride in making sure you are happy with their work. Anthony?s son came back alone to do the work. I have miss placed his card and don?t have his name or I would have mentioned him by name. He stayed up on the roof for a very long while checking the entire roof for any cracks or loose shingles. He was thorough and took loads of pictures of the work done. We also had two fittings to vents that were loose and letting water pour in. He was so kind and helped explain all that he did so that I would understand the work that had been done. All the while identifying a leak we didn?t even know about with a piece of plumbing in the attic. (Thank goodness we know that now!) This is a TRIPLE A family business that goes above and beyond to help their customers. Honesty, great communication, and quality work can be expected from this company!

I contacted them and we attempted to arrange something, but due to weather they haven't performed the work yet. I hope to get back in contact with them.

Anthony Sr. saw the project through from start to finish. I would recommend him to family, friends & neighbors. I was very impressed with how well the workers cleaned up after the job was complete.

My roof had a leak, staining interior sheetrock. We bought the $99 Angie's List deal for roof maint. Company scheduled for Sat morning. Anthony Ledford Sr, Owner, called Sat morning to inform that he's on his way. Sr & his son, Jr, arrived & promptly began to fix the problems. Jr found the leak & many other small problem areas, he nailed down lots of loose nails & tarred many other areas on the entire roof. He spent a little more than an hour on the job. Took pictures to show me afterwards. Although I didn't expect much, even expecting an upsell to replace entire roof. Company owner was very honest & professional about my 15 yr old roof was still in good shape & only needed those minor repairs. I'm extremely happy with the work & will definitely use them again when I need to replace the roof. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. These guys came and finished a complete roof, same day. My yard was cleaned up, looked better than before they came. I recommend Flagstone to my close friends and family.

They did a great job over all. The crew did a good clean-up afterwards. Their price can't be beat.

It was horrible. I wasn't happy with the delivery time and they broke blinds. They did a horrible job on the installation and they messed up the measurements. It was very poor workmanship. The price wasn't great but it was competitive. It has been a while since I found more problems since the original walk through.

2pm Thursday, February 27th came and went without any sign of Anthony or anyone else from Flagstone Roofing. I never received a phone call to reschedule or cancel. I had gone out of my way to arrange a half day off to get several bids from roofing contractors that afternoon, and this was the only "no show" of the day. I wasn't overly surprised since this seems to be an ongoing problem based on other reviews. I own a small home (1000 sq. ft.) and was careful to explain this to each contractor contacted. I wanted to make sure that a relatively small roofing job wouldn't be a problem. If Flagstone Roofing wasn't interested in roofing my small home, they had every opportunity to tell me during my initial call, or when Anthony called back to set up the appointment. My next project will be to replace the siding on my home, which would have provided Flagstone and additional opportunity - and a more lucrative one! My time is valuable, and I expect the contractors I hire to treat me with respect - small job or large. Flagstone did not. 2 other contractors called to tell me they were running late that day. I did not hold it against them. But Flagstone never showed up and never called. I will never make the mistake of contacting Flagstone again.

Great folks who do what they promise

No Show/ Not even a call to reschedule or cancel.

They were very prompt. They met with me twice as were were negotiating the bid. I signed the contract with them and it was professionally put together. They started the work the 1st of March and it went on for six weeks. They did quality work.

We had an appointment with them to install a couple of turbines and evaluate the attic for other necessary, cost-saving work. They never showed up. Nor did they call to let us know they were going to miss the appointment or be late. I can't speak to their work or price. Never got that far.

They came in and got the job done efficiently. I was very impressed with the quality and the speed of the work. I would highly recommend him to others.

I have never experienced from any contractor such personal attachment. Anthony is a super guy. He did a great job. He worked with us on price and followed up on installation. I couldn't have had a better experience. You should use him. He is a very warm person and treats you like a friend.
