We visited The Fireplace Man store on the Southwest Freeway, and received prompt and informative service on selecting the best gas log assembly for our 3 sided see-through fireplace. We made and appointment for fireplace to be cleaned, a cap put on the chimney, and for installation of the gas logs. The technician was on time (actually 45 minutes early). He did all of the work needed in about 1 1/2 hours and cleaned up after himself nicely. I felt that the prices were reasonable. Chimney Clean ($97), Chimney Cap ($125) and installation/set-up of the gas logs ($60.). The cost of the gas logs was higher than I had anticipated due to the fact that our fireplace is large, and the log design needed modification to make it look good from all three sides of our see through fireplace ($530).

Perfect and cheaper than similar services. Clean, on-time (even during peak demand period), communicative. Inspected (visual...does not use camera) and assured me it was in good working order except for cleaning. Cleaned chimney and clean up after self perfectly. Good with my foster dog. Sells gas logs but only because I asked. No pressure and good explanations (I'm staying with wood).

Due to scheduling problems, the technical rescheduled for an earlier time, which worked out well. He took about 30 minutes to clean the vent ductwork, working from both the outside vent and inside at the dryer. He was neat and thorough. I highly recommend this company, and I expect to use them annually for this service.

I went into the store and met with one of the sales consultants. He was helpful and answered all our questions. With his help we ordered the system that we wanted and look forward to using our new system on cold days! I cannot attest to how the system works yet, we have not used it.

Chimney cleaner (Luis) was on time, was courteous, and was very careful not to leave any dirt or soot behind. A very impressive job well done!

Arrived promptly on the scheduled day and on time. The serviceman was very courteous and answered all my questions about the safety inspection. He also had all the tools required to quickly repair the damper and install a new chimney cap.

Chimney Sweep answered my call quickly, followed up with an estimate to inspect and clean my chimney. Their prices were very reasonable and they explained to me how important it is to have your chimney swept, because it builds up with creote. The cleaning was scheduled as soon as a day was set and the chimney sweeper was right on time. He did an excellent job, cleaned up any mess and left the house in spic and span condition.

The company was very professional. They called and asked me if I could reschedule the time and they contacted me in advance. After they arrived, they laid a protective linen on the carpet so that everything remained clean. After they left, I never knew they had been there because there was no residue/debris left. It was the first cleaning my chimney had ever received. I'm unable to determine the quality of the work because I was unable to actually look into the chimney or observe any debris.

Fireplace Man has done several things for me, but this one really sticks out in my mind. This company is very good. They are always on time, and I enjoy the services. I am having a problem with them right now though because they are supposed to be fixing a gas grill, but I have not heard from them in quite a while. I am really upset. However, I never had a problem with them before so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and not hold this problem against them until I know exactly what is going on.

Chimney Sweep took my call right away and came by to give me an estimate. Their prices were a little high, but they do a good cleaning job. The cleaning was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the chimney guy was on time. He checked all around and inside the chimney, and it was clean. He does good work and gave me his card for future chimney cleanings.

The chimney sweeper answered my call promptly and followed up readily with an estimate and cleaning. He was very reasonable with his prices and was able to explain the build up of creote and the hazards a stopped up chimney can cause. The cleaning was scheduled as soon as a day and time were set, and the chimney sweeper was on time. He laid a tarp across the floor and worked from the inside out with a very powerful vacuum cleaner and a long tube that reached up to the top of the chimney. He cleaned out a lot of junk and never made a mess.

THE TECHNICIAN CANCELED THE 1ST APPOINTMENT ON FRIDAY, BUT OFFERED TO COME IN ON SATURDAY. HE ARRIVED ON TIME SATURDAY. HE DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING. HE USED COVERS FOR THE CARPET AT THE FRONT OF THE FIREPLACE, AND DID NOT SOIL ANY OF THE REST OF THE HOUSE. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK FOR THE PRICE AGREED ON BEFOREHAND.

THE TECHNICIANS WERE ON TIME, AND COMPLETED THE WORK QUICKLY, AND EFFICIENTLY.

THE SERVICE WAS FRIENDLY AND THE GUYS ARRIVED EARLY. THEY INSPECTED MY CHIMNEY AND CLEANED IT. IT WAS A LITTLE STRANGE, SINCE THEY NEVER WENT UP TO THE ROOF; THEY DID THE WHOLE THING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE WITH A VACUUM CLEANER-TYPE MACHINE. I HAVEN'T STARTED A FIRE YET, SO WE'LL SEE!

THE PLACE WAS GREAT. ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT ALSO. THE MAN WAS VERY NICE.

MADE NO MESS AT ALL, REMOVED THE BIRD'S NEST, PLACED CHIMNEY CAP.

THEY DID A NICE JOB. THEY WERE FAST AND CAME AT THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

THEY ARE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH AND ARE ALWAYS COURTEOUS.
