Description of Work: Removed vinyl flooring in all rooms and replaced them with tile in the kitchen, powder room, and 2 bathroom floors. Price given was for labor only as all materials were supplied. The wait time for work is 3 wks, but they started a day ahead of schedule and were finished in 2 days. Very satisfied with the results, and would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We initially chose a tile from their selection and paid 1/2 up front before setting an installation apt 5 weeks in advance. During that time we found another tile that we loved but it was from a distributor that either would not sell to them or they couldn't get the pricing they needed for their VM or bottom line profit. We still needed installation and FFL still had all our money. They said they would do the installation for an additional $1.00/sf above their standard install pricing. We understood they needed to up charge us since they weren't making any money off the tile. The wood look tile is amazing and their installer did a fabulous job. The grout lines are so small you can barely see them. Highly recommend, we would use them again. By the way we had no problem getting our initial check amount refunded, I was very worried about that but they were great and refunded promptly.

Adam, the sales rep, was able to work around my work travel schedule and come out to the house at my convenience. He was on time, brought samples for me to choose from, and gave me an exact estimate of costs for installation. The installers spent two days at the house installing approximately 583 sq. ft. of handscraped walnut flooring. I am very pleased with how the floors came out. I plan on having them come out to complete flooring throughout the rest of the house, and finally get rid of all of my carpet.
Description of Work: I had 583 sq. ft. of handscraped hardwood floors installed in the living and dining rooms.
The whole process went great. I was pessimistic about their being able to do the R&R of 5 bedrooms, stairs, living room, game room hallway and study in only one day, but they did it. I had boxed up the contents of a wall unit in my living room, in advance. They moved out and re-placed all of the furniture.
Description of Work: We replaced all of the carpeting in our home with new carpet and pad. The only exception was the formal dining room where we had wood installed.
After a minor mishap regarding the start date, which was cleared up with a few phone calls, the work was done quickly andwith great attention to detail. My wife and I were pleased with the finished product. The installers were friendly and did a good job with moving furniture and hooking appliances back up. I had gotten several estimates from other companies, but EZ Floors price was well below the others, and I don't feel like the quality suffered at all!!!
Description of Work: EZ Floors installed tile in my kitchen, breakfast area, and utility room. They also installed carpet thoughout my entire home.

pretty well. The installers were on time and finished a day early. For the most part they did an excellent job. However, the installers didn't clean up quite as completely as they should have, and they put too big of a grout line along one wall. The buisness owner offered to put in quarter round at no cost to make up for it. The other installation thing I was dissatisfied with was that, although the wood is "distressed," they managed to put the one piece with a wierd discoloration right smack in the middle of the entry to the den where it's really noticible. I felt a litte pressured to go with a tile that they had a "special deal" on, which is why the cost was very reasonable. But I really wanted to make sure that the tile didn't have any noticable repeats because I wanted the look of real stone. They assured me the tile wouldnt have these obvious repeats. Wrong! the pattern is actually smaller than the large tiles, and repeats occur even within the same tile! Most people probably won't notice it, so I'll leave it in, but if I were not planning on moving in the next year or so, I would have that tile ripped out and redone with real stone. Overall these guys are very nice and knowledgable, and probably moreso now about repeats...

I have signed a contract with them but they have not started the install. It is new construction so it is a new install. The job is going to cost about $41,000.
Description of Work: I used EZ Floors to bid on installing new floors throughout my entire 6,000-square-foot house.
When we started looking for a floor installer, we went to at least 10 different locations as we wanted the "hand scraped" wood. When we went to EZ Floors they came out the next day and measured. The Manager, Joseph, was the most patient person as we worked through all of the variations of the wood. Excellent customer service. They also had the lowest price. They have been so good that my son and wife, his mother-in-law, and my daughter have all used them with a great deal of satisfaction. I think they have referred others as well. When we began planning the counters, Joseph met us at the granite warehouse and had input on grades and coloration. After reserving two slabs we met him the following day to work on a backsplash selection. He had plenty of pictures of jobs with the same granite and we were able to pick one quickly. The bottom line is we would not go to another retailer for any needs for floors. Check their pricing and their high level of customer service before you make a final decision. They have been great for us.
Description of Work: We use the EZ Floor store on N. Eldgridge. Over the past two years they have installed two bedrooms of carpet, replaced the tile floor in one bathroom and three rooms of hardwood floors. Next week they will be installing granite countertops and backsplash. All total we have spent nearly $20,000 with them.

They work with you and are very prompt. They do a good job. I called one of the guys to look at my bathroom. He was really friendly and called me right back. They were on time and were ready to move my furniture.
Description of Work: They have installed tile in my bathroom, foyer, kitchen, and shower.
Wonderful experience. We were hesitant to do all of this because of our concern on how long our house would be a mess while they were working. We were assured it was a three and a half day job and everything would be done to our satisfaction, and it was! The salesman was very helpful in selecting the tile and carpet at the store and came to our house that night for the measurements. We told him our preferred date for the work and the scheduler called us within a day to let us know when they would start. The tile crew arrived as scheduled and got right to work. They were very professional and when there were some problems with our old floor, they discussed the options with us and were able to handle everything on the spot. They even stayed late one night to ensure they would meet their deadline of three days. Throughout the whole process, they kept the noise level low and were careful to leave everything clean at the end of the day. The carpet crew arrived as scheduled and were done in half a day. Everything looks great and was all done in the three and half days as originally schedule. We will definitely use this company again when it is time to replace our other carpets.

We needed to get rid of the carpet in our bedroom because of allergies, and replace the tile in the kitchen because the old tile was coming up from the floor. We went to the EZ Floor store based on recommendations from our realtor and our pest control provider. The salesman Basim was very helpful in explaining the various products and making color recommendations. We decided on a couple of options, and he gave us samples to take home, and scheduled a visit to our home at the end of the day to measure and provide a price quote. We decided tile in the kitchen and wood floors in the whole house, including the stairs, so that it would all match. Total was about $19,000. We signed the contract for 10% down and the remainder interest free for 1 year. That night we reconsidered taking on so much debt, and the next day called Basim back and said we would rather do just the kitchen and master suite for now. No problem, he said. The next day the store manager Mustafa called us back and asked to come back to our home and measure again, explaining that Basim had been called away on a personal emergency. He came personally and gave us the new quote of $6,700, of which we put $700 down and financed the remainder six months no interest. He scheduled his crew to come the following Monday, the day after Christmas. They came punctually, finishing the tile installation that day and the wood floor the next day. Very good job, including clean up. We like it so much we plan to do the rest of the house when we get a little more money saved up.
Description of Work: Provided and installed new tile floor in kitchen/breakfast area (260 sq ft), and hand-scraped wood flooring in the master bedroom suite (488 sq ft). Included taking out the old tile, carpet, and laminate flooring, moving all furniture, installing the new, including all trim, and replacing the furniture.
Before writing the contract, Chris came out to measure and bring samples for me to see. Because the carpet swatch board contains tiny samples, Chris ordered larger samples to help us with the decision. We packed up all fragile items in boxes and placed them in our kitchen. The installers moved boxes of other items and furniture out, and then back, for the carpeting/hardwood. They used sliders to help with really heavy pieces. Our piano rolled just fine with three men on it. They put carpet scraps onto our tile floor to protect it, too. We have a pool table in our gameroom and they managed just fine with it. We had some creaky boards upstairs and some of the stairs. I asked that they either use screws or nails to attempt to quiet those spots. They did well with that also. On the stairs, I used a marker to show which stairs needed help. I think that using a marker on squeaky boards is a good idea if there are any known objectionable areas. Prior to their arrival, I had moved our various lamps into bathrooms so that they would be out of the way. I also stripped all of the beds and cleared out any items stored beneath them. The floors of all of the closets were cleared, too. I gathered all of our long clothing items so that they would not be an issue for carpeting closets. Once carpet was pulled out of a room, I followed behind and wiped down the baseboards. They cleaned the sub-floors in every room prior to putting down the new padding. I chose the Crush Resistor padding which is coated on both sides. They re-used most of the old tack strips. As part of the clean-up, the installers carried a roll of excess carpeting and stowed it in our garage. We are very pleased with the results of this project - from beginning to end!
Description of Work: Replaced carpeting in formal dining room with engineered hardwood flooring. The installer gave us the choice of whether or not to level the floor. We chose to have it leveled. The next day, they installed the new flooring in a little over two hours including moving the furniture back into the dining room. It looks fabulous! The next week, EZ Floors sent out a team of carpet installers and it took a total of one and a half days to shuffle furniture and boxes, and install 5 bedrooms, study, living room, hallway, gameroom and stairs. They arrived on the dot as expected! What a treat! The carpet looks great. I had to have a couple of pieces of heavy furniture moved a little more and they cheerfully worked to get the furniture in the correct spots. They cleaned up after themselves and worked steadily both days. Our salesman was Chris and he worked to be sure that we had just the color and so forth prior to the sale. I would happily use the company again!
