I bought a coupon for a deep clean and carpet cleaning and it was somewhat disappointing. One of the bathroom floors seems not to have been swept much and they didn't even move small things out of the way like a humidifier or desk chairs so there are many spots that weren't cleaned. Especially for a 'deep clean' I would have expected them to be more thorough. Also, we have a carpeted walk-in closet and we cleared everything off the floor for that carpet to be cleaned and at the edges of the carpet where it meets the wall there are still large dust bunnies all around the edges. I'm disappointed with how little care was put into the job overall.

Three people showed up to clean my 1200 sq foot one bedroom apartment/one bath apartment, before we moved it. The apartment was completely and had been sitting empty for 6 months. Detail Cleaning Services scrubbed it from top to bottom - inside every cabinet down to every corner of the floor. They give an extensive list of the services they provide for a move out/move in cleaning and they did all of it well. They said they would come between 1:00 and 2:00, they arrived a few minutes after 2:00, but it was too much of an inconvenience for me. Great value. $103 for those 1200 sq ft.

The cleaners arrived right on time and got to work right away with all their own equipment and cleaners. I have 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bath on three levels with tile, stone, carpet, and hardwood floors. Everything was cleaned very well and I was very happy with the results. The ceiling fan blades were also dusted. They worked around the piles of stuff I have on the floor from moving. They were quick, thorough, and professional and I will continue to use Detail Cleaning Services on a regular basis.

It was good. They were right on time, professional, and nice. They asked me to check everything to make sure they didn’t miss anything. They sent 2 people out to do the job. They got the job done in about 4 hours.

We've now had our second round of cleaning - in both homes - and for the first time in 2+ years we are feeling as though our money is being well spent. We first had the deep cleaning service along with carpet cleaning and it was a great price for a great performance. If the long term stays as good as the 1st & 2nd cleanings this relationship will be very happy indeed!! Detail Maids have now replaced our 3+ year long maid service who repeatedly showed little interest in keeping their customer satisfied.

This is a follow up review. I have used Detail Cleaning for over a year now and really appreciate Emma and her crew. I get a reminder each time that they are coming - which helps a lot. Emma is very accommodating when we have special requests or if something in particular needs attention. We definitely recommend this company.

It turned out fine. I had a 1600 square foot home that they cleaned and 2 techs cleaned the home. My one thing -- neither tech spoke English. Luckily, my wife came home shortly after the techs arrived and she spoke Spanish. However, the techs were on time and very professional. They did a very good job and everything was done to my wife's high standards.

Detailed Cleaning Service is first of all incredibly professional and conscientious. I had to reschedule several time as this service was the final "phase" of a lengthy and dirty construction project, or rather the clean-up of it and there were delays that contributed to rescheduling. Emma was so nice and patient with my repeated reschedules. Today the cleaning took place and the process was much more in depth than those we've had in the past with a pre-treatment followed by vacuuming and then the steam cleaning and finally a treatment to help the carpet's resilience to dirt and stains in future. I am embarrassed that I don't remember the gentleman's name that was so helpful ... he was courteous, professional and friendly. He moved furniture and took the initiative to do more extensive areas than I'd planned. I haven't seen "nap" in our burr-burr (hmmm - not sure that's the spelling!) for YEARS and figured it was beyond redemption, but the time and attention he took with our staircase and hallway especially which are nothing BUT "traffic areas" was impressive and the result quite amazing.

My house was sparkling clean when they left, and my family and I were very happy. They were punctual, friendly, and thorough.

My carpeted stair looks almost new, and almost every stain on it came out. The guy worked very hard, and did a terrific job. The loveseat and ottoman had stains from pets and children, and he made them look new again. Excellent job, and he was very, very nice.

I spent $200. They were very professional, responded to emails, showed up on time and did a good quality cleaning.

They cleaned our carpets & did a fantastic job. The carpets look like new & they had not been cleaned in many years. Adrianne was our carpet tech and he was awesome & very professional. My experience with them was excellent. My wife had more experience with them than I did. They were prompt; they came when they said they were going to come. They were professional. Everything was well taken care of. They were quick to get back to us and schedule everything.

They are very professional and have good communication. The team was running a little late, so she sent a second team. Four people cleaned my home and did a fabulous job. They were very detailed and even cleaned my oven.

The maids arrived at home, performed all services explained via email, corresponds very well via email, and makes sure she provides services you specifically request for. The team is flexible with their accommodations for you, and your home.

The team was very professional, thorough and efficient. We have signed up for bi-weekly service at a reduced rate.

They were punctual, courteous, thorough and very nice! Emma worked around our complicated schedule to make sure we got the service we needed when we were available to be home. We will definitely have them return on a regular basis!

The appointment was for 12-2pm. Emma called to say that the crew was running late but still the crew arrived a 2:30 - clearly not a problem. They went to work on the house cleaning plantation shutters and blinds, full-wall mirrors, mopped all the tile, cleaned baseboards and vacuumed carpets. They cleaned the ceiling fans, glass shelving and the oven. In all they cleaned three living areas, dining room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. At one point, there was no place in the house to be where we weren't in the way so, we told the crew we would be back in about an hour. When we returned, the house was done and it was such a pleasure to have the whole house clean and smelling fresh at the same time. We bought an Angie's Big Deal of 4 hours of cleaning for $199 but honestly we pick up after ourselves and have no pets or small children so, they were able to finish in 3 hours. Other more active homes might need the full 4 hours. But, we were very pleased with their work in spite of them only needing 3 hours to complete.

I'm okay with the service rendered. I had an issue before but it was addressed by the owner and so far it hasn't reoccurred. Service includes changing of bed linens, which I like. I wish I could keep the same team of cleaners. It seems that new issues happen when a new cleaning team is used.

Arrived on time and everything was done very well.

The team arrived right on-time, and spent the next several hours giving the house a VERY thorough cleaning (I've had other "initial" cleanings before, and they spent about twice as much time as I was expecting). The place was left spotless and smelling fresh and I am looking forward to their next scheduled visit. It's also worth mentioning - despite what I've noticed is a high attention to detail, the prices are comparable to what other services charge; so you really get a lot higher quality for about the same cost, which is a testament to the high standards that they are maintaining. Highly recommended!

I am so glad I am an Angie's List member, after reading many reviews for maid service, Detail Cleaning Services had the most reviews and the most positive reviews. I am so happy that i scheduled them to come out and clean, after the first cleaning I emailed the owner and asked to be set-up on an every other week schedule. Emma is so nice and she works with what you want. The price is very fair and you get great service. The ladies that came out were very friendly and they worked the entire time, they spent about 2.5 hours cleaning. If you are looking for a great maid service, look no further. Emma gives you a list of what is covered in your cleaning, you can add on anything you need to be cleaned.
