He was very professional, extremely nice and easy to work with. I asked him if he could check the toilets as well as I was preparing to put my house on the market and he was quick to check. I didn't feel like he was burdoned by doing "extra work". When he arrived, he made sure to wipe his feet and place footies over his shoes to not track anything inside.

After he completed his work on the replaced waterline hook up. He turned the water back on and checked every faucet to make sure there were not issues, and ran the water until it was clear for my refridgerator. He also told me about some other Church specials that would save me a lot of money over the next year on work I was planning to have done. It was a wonderful experience start to finish and I would highly recommend this company.

They are completely competent but they are just expensive.

we had a hard time getting the appointment settled, but once we communicated with each other everything went very well. I believe the problem was with the phone number on my profile in Angieslist. Mike arrived on time and ready to work. He got started immediately and was very professional. I asked a lot of questions about electrical work and he answered them all without skipping a beat on his tasks. He accomplished quite a bit in the two hours. No issues so far with anything he worked on.

The service man took way too long installing the pendants lights. There was an existing light fixture that no further work was needed except to change out the light. One new fixture needed to be installed through the ceiling. It took him over two hours to do this. What upset me was that he went over the 2 hours I had purchased through the Angie's List deal without informing me that if you go 5 minutes over, it's another $89. HELLO????? That would be good to know. I was furious to say the least especially after he had worked so slowly installing the lights. So I had him work the remaining time installing a ceiling fan and insisted he stop even though it wasn't finished or he would have charged me ANOTHER $89 going into the next hour. This is just inexcusable to not disclose this information ahead of time. Angie's List Deal buyers beware!!

They were able to deal with most of the issues that we have had. They did a good job installing a faucet in the shower. I think I might try another service in the future. We had a coupon that made their service pretty cheap. It was for 2 hours of service.

I bought the coupon this morning from Angie's List for a plumbing service visit and sent an e-mail to inquire about scheduling as instructed. Church's contacted me right away and were able to send someone this afternoon, so they get high marks for responsiveness. The plumber, Charles, checked the hot water heater and while he couldn't pinpoint the leak, it was clear that the 20 year old heater needed replacement. Charles walked me through the work needed, the pricing, etc. and left me a quote of around $1700. Charles inspired confidence and I know Church is very reputable but the quote seems high. I will wait another day and get at least one other quote. I could have had the work done the same day, which was tempting. Church does have a good preventative maintenance program which Charles explained to me.

The worker showed up on time. He gave me some advice on things that I should have done in the future even gave me an estimate. I’ve not had any problems.

They were excellent and very punctual. I am very happy. I used an Angie's List coupon. I was very impressed with the work. There was no extra cost and it was perfect.

They called within 20 minutes of my Angie's list visit, an appointment was made for the following day. Received a call prior to tech coming out. Mike was very professional and informed us of everything he was doing. He advised us of what repairs might be necessary.

They're great, especially on the electrical work. They do a great job.

I purchased an Angie's Big Deal for 2 hours of plumbing services and had a leaky faucet repaired and a new faucet installed in my powder room. Claude arrived on time and worked diligently to get through the items we identified within the timeframe of our purchased deal. He was very professional and courteous despite having to tangle with an unruly 20+ year old faucet that didn't want to be removed. We will definately recommend Church Services and in particular, Claude, to all of our friends and family.

On Sunday, discovered I had a pinhole leak in hot water pipe in wall behind dishwasher. I removed dishwasher and cut hole in sheetrock to confirm it was leaking from pipe and not dishwasher. Called plumber around 3:00 on Sunday afternoon. They told me that they would have to charge an after hours charge of $144, which was worth it to me. The plumbing manager called me back to confirm the scope of work so they could have the right stuff available. Within an hour, a plumber came out and because of the location of the leak, recommended putting a clamp on the leak instead of replacing the pipe, since he would have had to tear out our cabinets to get to the ends of the pipe. I agreed, since we are probably going to have the whole house replumbed anyway. Within an hour the leak had been plugged with a clamp and I was pleased. Cost was $315 ($144 for the after hours work late on Sunday afternoon plus $171 for parts & labor to install a pipe clamp to seal the leak). I was quoted $695 to tear out the cabinets and replace the pipe.

Overall, Raul did a good job replacing the vents. He went into our attic to replace the entire exhaust unit instead of just replacing the motor. My only complaint is that when I came home, there was sheet rock material & dust all over all 3 bathrooms. I would suggest to Church services that their technicians bring an plastic sheet to cover the work area so it's easy clean up afterwards.

This is my second time using this company within 1 week. Mike (the electrician) - I had met the first time around came back out and installed my additional door bell and moved 3 light switch boxes. He worked very hard and was very efficient. We both talked through a few items to see if additional work could be done and we/he concluded that it might not be worth my time/money. I appreciated his honesty in letting me know instead he could have said - sure and taken my money. I will call him back again for anything else I need done. VERY impressed with his willingness to troubleshoot and make suggestions etc.

They are fine. We switched to them, and they are great.

I purchased a 2 hour labor coupon from them to have my outdoor ceiling fan installed. 2 technicians arrived on time. Immediately the head tech asked me if I was aware that I would only get 1 hour of labor since there were two techs present. I was not aware of this but was happy to be told ahead of time that it might take longer than 1 hour and I would be charged additional. I gave the go ahead and they proceeded to work as quickly as possible to help me try and avoid any additional charges. They explained the process that it would take to get the fan in the location and working (there was not an existing box). They even had enough time to fix an outdoor outlet that was not working as well. I did end up paying a little extra for the work but that was OK by me. They did a great job and I plan to have them back.

Mike showed up during the agreed upon afternoon window. He is friendly and communicated well about issues and how they need to be fixed. The deal is for 2 hours of work for $89. It is not too far fetched to expect under this deal for a company to use delay tactics and do as little as possible. But Mike quicklly moved from one task to the other without wasting any time. He did a lot within the two hours and was ready to leave but I requested if he could replace one last recepticle. He spent an additional 5-10 minutes to do it without extra charge. Beyond the deal price I paid, I was charged only for one breaker he had to add. Since this was done under a deal, I have to wait and see their pricing for future work to be done. I asked and received estimate to install one security light at the far corner of my huge back-yard. It appeared to be high but can't be sure until I get bids from other companies. Lastly, I did not realize that this company provides other services besides electrical. I have no complaints about the work Mike did. But I prefer to use a company that specializes in one particular type of service. This is especially true for electrical work. I would love to hear from Church Services about this opinion of mine. Updated on 10-March-2011 Changed rating for professionalism from A to D and overall rating from A to B for the following reason As noted above I was supposed to pay for the new breaker that was added. The bill given to me by the technician was $35. I charged it to my credit card. The technician wrote down my credit card info on the invoice to be processed by back office folks later. It showed up in my credit card account as $93. I called Church services about it. They said a mistake was made and I was charged for part of the Big Deal price also and that I should see a credit on my account soon. As everyone knows the price for Big Deal is paid to Angie's List part of which is paid by AL to the provider. They should have charged my credit card based on the invoice a hard copy of which was given to me. It is clearly noted on the invoice that the charge for labor is "AL coupon". So, it is hard to understand how this mistake happened.

They first came by for an estimate of how much time it would take...they noted that it would be better with two people since going through the attic. Other than the delay on getting back with us (which was likely just a miscommunication), they were very responsive and Mike was great.

They were prompt and fixed the problems and gave us advice on future work

Our plumber was Charles Williams and he did an awesome job. I will be recommending Church Services to all my friends and family. Thanks.

Our a/c went out on a Thursday, we did not realize it until Friday and it was too late to call someone prior to the weekend. We had a home warranty but they could not come for several days. We called Church services who said they could come that day. They came on time,, found the problem and said they could fix it that day. It was close to 100 degrees in the house, and we were not able to live in it. After the work was performed I talked to other people in the industry and looked the problem up online to find it should have cost around $250 including labor. The part itself was approximately $80. we were charged $587.27 I would not use this contractor again.

I purchased the Big Deal - 89.00 for 2 hours of Licensed Plumbing Services. Everyone at Church Services was accomodating and helpful. I spoke with Kathy, in the office, about what I needed. She was very patient and helpful. I requested Aurelio Aceves to perform the services (based on previous reviews). The day of service, the office called at 7:45 and said Aurelio was on his way. He arrived at 8:05 and started working immediately. He answered all my questions and performed the services with speed and perfection!!! A big thanks to all the people at Church Services, especially Aurelio.

The gentleman from Church Services was very nice. He installed the surge protector in about 15-20 minutes. Afterwards I asked how it works and he told me that it was attached to a breaker and should an electrical surge occur, then it would trip the breaker. I asked which breaker it was attached to and he said he didn't know because there were no labels. I remembered there were labels so I asked him to show me. He was a little miffed at my questions. As it turns out, there are labels and the surge protector was attached to the elevator which means that should someone be in the elevator and the surge protector activates, they would be stuck because the tripped breaker has to manually be reset. He didn't see a problem with that. I asked that he reroute the protector to another breaker which he reluctantly did. He then replaced the ballast on a florescent light in about 15 minutes with no issues. I thought the cost of replacing the ballast was a little high but it has been a while since I had electrical work done. And if it weren't for the Big Deal price on the surge protector, I would not have done it.

He did ok. He did not clean the coil in the attic. I though that it was not included in the price. He was pleasant, prompt and did ok.
