My family and I started the process of getting a generator back in May. We signed the necessary documents and work began the beginning of June. The main purpose of us getting a generator was for us to no longer be without power during Texas horrible storm season. We have an elderly disabled veteran and now a 9-month-old that resides here so it was imperative that we got the generator. This business lacks communication and accountability! We had to reach out several times in order for them to complete this process. After Hurricane Beryl left us without power for four days, they finally came and completed the job. NOW..we have a d*** gas leak!!! We called them regarding this and they made it seem as if this was normal and would send someone out to look. That never happened. Our neighbor ended up calling Centerpoint due to smelling gas and that's when it was discovered that we had a gas leak. This could've ended tragically for my family and myself and even the neighborhood. Since Centerpoint was here, they did end up shutting off the generator. So now we're back to square one with no generator and no phone call from when this matter will be resolved from the d*** company after I've made several phone calls, text messages, and emails.

In the summer of 2020, I paid Church Services of Houston, TX, over $10k to replace my home's air conditioning unit on 20407 Lemon Blossom Cir Richmond, TX. At that time, I also entered into a service agreement with Church Services that covered twice-a-year checkups and service discounts on repairs. On July 13th, 2023, this same air conditioning unit stopped blowing cold air. So, I called Churches Services out to check the unit. When the service technician entered the home, he said he would look the united over and discuss my options (no charges were mentioned). Once the technician came down from the attic, he said the condenser had a leak and would need to be replaced. He then called his office for the pricing and to verify the warrant on the unit. When he returned to me, he said the condenser was under warranty and would cost $5,000 to replace. When I asked for an explanation, he said the $5,000 covered labor and freon. I then told him I needed another company to verify the issue and quote me a price for repairs. That's when he said I owed $501 for the leak test. Nowhere was it communicated to me verbally or written that there was a charge for the leak test. I found another company that replaced the warranted condenser and charged $1,100 for labor and freon. This practice of not informing the customer of charges before using services is unethical. And now, after almost a year, a collection agency calls me to have me pay them. So, it seems that Church Services got paid money from a collection agency, and now I have a black mark on my credit report for this unethical practice.

Never use them again. Charged me $275 for leak detection. Capped off pipe in garage wall but they missed a secondary leak in my attic. At 2:30 am, I found my garage ceiling collapsed from that secondary leak. Had to go without water for about another 10 days until a different plumber could come out. 2nd plumber said checking water meter for addt'l leaks, after repair is normal plumber practice. Called Church Svcs multiple times requesting at least partial refund. Church Svcs kept saying request being reviewed. Filed BBB complaint and Church Svcs refunded and provided drywaller to repair garage ceiling. Drywaller took until mid-June to "complete" drywall repair but they used an unmatched flat paint on repairs rather than existing gloss paint, didn't sand or paint some smaller repairs (and I offered to pay drywaller for area that Church Svcs cut out drywall but drywaller said they would do for free due to trouble of ceiling collapse) & left some moldy looking drywall (not sure where it came from since I cut out all wet drywall and misted edges and part of attic with bleach solution multiple times to prevent mold) in my attic that I found when I was replacing insulation in my attic. 1st and only time I'll use Church Services.

They did a very good job. I was very happy with their service. I recommend them too.

I think that they are pricey but they did a good job.

I have used Angies list about 6 times and reviews were on target.This company is my actual fourth review and is horrible.Based on Angie review had upstairs central a/c replaced with a Lenox model.Ever since then had horrible tech the third, fourth and finally fifth time. With installation, in May 2015 put in too much refrigerant which almost destroyed compressor.Then from third to final time constant overselling on items not needed.Then in August 2018 my compressor and evaporator coil goes out.From 3 different Angie list contractors found out all items that went out were improperly installed.On April 18,2019 had the same items properly fixed or by August would have gone through a compressor and evaporator coil again.Company is constantly being sold which should tell you something.Also when I raised holy heck in 8/18 about a 2 year old a/c having this problem, they reduced bill $2000 which to me is a sign why would you refund me money if the work was originally done right.

This was service performed 8/18.Used Church Services now D.B.A. Ancorian Services.Basically had compressor and evaporator coil replaced in a 3 year old unit.Received bill for$4300 which after raising holy **** was reduced to$2200.I had 3 different contractors come out in 2019 and they all said improper installation caused my problems and a few valves were not installed properly.Today 4/17/19 I hired my fourth contractor and said nothing.He found same problems.I now had work done.Beaware of Church Services.Also items if not paired would have caused a compressor and evaporator coils to fail again.

Very well! They came out and ran a camera through the line and drew a layout of the water pipes. They were able to clear out the clogged cast iron pipe. They did a water test to check for leaks and did not find any.

I needed to have a cracked three way light switch replaced and asked that a smart switch be used as the replacement. I provided the switch, all I needed was the labor. The technician stated it would cost $200 to replace the switch, which I think is absurdly expensive, but I agreed to proceed. The electrician took over 2 hours and could not do the job. He ended up breaking my old switches that were still in working order and replaced them with used and dirty old switches that were not even the same color and he didn't even replace them correctly so the switches stopped working. I called Church Services about how they planned to fix what their technician broke and they failed to even return my call. I had to go out and call another electrician to fix the issue and I was left without a working kitchen light for 2 days while I waited for another electrician to come out. Avoid this company! They are unprofessional and unreliable. They cannot fix a simple light switch and should definitely not be trusted with any work.

Woke up to no heat & no refrigerator; rest of house fine. Flipped circuit breakers & didn't fix it. Church was the ONLY company willing to come out Sunday morning; 2 others said "Monday-Tuesday". Gilbert was smart, thorough, & professional. Didn't sell us a whole new box, just tightened neutrals & moved 2 "spares". We'll definitely call Church Services again.

This time the tech spends less than 20 minutes inspecting furnace & tells us our furnace is shot ... need new system for $3800 to $5000. But we should just replace the whole A/C & furnace for $15k while we are at it. Guess he thought we would do it no questions asked. He tells us the furnace has a cracked heater exchange & is leaking CO. Also says motor is leaking oil. We told him we were going to get 2nd opinion. We then read his notes that say the system is working & heat exchanger is fine. He did note weak capacitor. Got 2 other companies to review. Both say system is fine ... no major issues. Got them to change capacitor ... minor cost of $50. Needless to say, we will never use Finch/Church Services again even though we have paid for a full year maintenance contract.

Very secure. They get personal service but its just really about their convenience and dispatching people and getting them on site so its just really convenient. Pricing could always be better. Quality was awesome. If I would use them again would depend if I can get a better deal on Angie's List.

Our A/C stopped cooling and he had to recharge our Freon and all that stuff. He was really good.

The next day we got another estimate for less than $2500 for the same work.

Everything went exceptionally well. This was a two-day job and the guys were very professional and efficient throughout. I think Church Services is a great candidate for this kind of work. Their pricing was comparable to others—not the cheapest. But their reputation, their longevity in the market, and my confidence in their warranties gave me reason to go with them over cheaper bids.

Prompt, knowledgeable, replaced with same model as it remains a standard model. Did not gouge on pricing the item, and labor charge very reasonable based on what I had researched on internet.

They were excellent. They are one of the people that does the installation for a major box store. They were outstanding. I would recommend them. It was pretty expensive but my actual air conditioning bill was half so it was worth it. We compared with a couple other companies and they gave us an upgraded model for less price than other people did. They were excellent. Our furnace and air conditioning are upstairs in the attic and they had to go up an attic ladder kind of thing and then there is a unit outside. There was all kinds of duct work in the attic that they pulled out and replaced. They got it all done in 6 hours and there were 2 guys. They were here on time and got a ton of work done in a short amount of time. They laid tarp down on the stairs and every thing so they wouldn't track stuff on the carpeting. They cleaned up after themselves and I couldn't give them a high enough rating. They were just excellent. I'm planning on using them again because I need a water heater.

Quick and efficient. On the washer, there was sheetrock damage. I had a crew doing painting and sheetrock repair but it was going to be their last day for their part. Church Services adjusted schedule so that repair would be finished early enough for my other crew would be able to repair the sheetrock abound the washer valve repair.

Thus far I have been quite pleased. I plan to have them return every six months.

The Diagnosis was oh, you have a leak upstairs let's get the whole thing replaced. We are seriously considering it, so had the technician who came to provide the quote to scan them the Angieslist coupon, in order for us to get the service call $50 discount as it was "missed" initially. Once we received the quote, we looked it over, and thought it was on the high end. However, when we called back and asked for the Angieslist $1500 for any purchase, they told us :"IT is UP TO (NOT, we had a pic of it and it is Receive $1500 upon purchase of a new system!), and we are already offering a rebate--(it was a rebate from the local energy provider)!". So now, interestingly, both the $50 discount on service call and $1500 discount from purchase of a new system vanished immediately after I spoke to them. This is scam, in addition to all upselling, we are taking our 10k elsewhere

Church services provided good recommendations and service. A new sink disposal was expensive. It the work was carried out quickly and efficiently.

Excellent job! I would highly recommend Jesus Sosa to anyone. He did a great job, was personable and extremely professional. I even signed up for their quarterly spray plan; even though i wasn't planning on it due to Jesus's professionalism and friendliness. I couldn't have had anyone more prepared for the job. He understood his products and was able to help me decide the best plan for treatment around my property. Many thanks!
