As expected. He arrived on time, did what he had to do and left.

He came out and figured out exactly what the problem was. I have done some electrical work in the past and I couldn't figure out what the issue was, but he was able to help me. The service was great and he gets "A"s in every category!

They were professional and did not mind answering questions I had. He did however try to up sell me, I didn't appreciate that. I can't see committing to further treatments without seeing how well this one worked. The service was however effective in eliminating our main problem which was ghost ants in the kitchen. I would use them again and recommend them.

Also, when checking out a problem on our request, he saw a need and took care of it.

He showed up within the window they said he would, although it was towards the latest possible time (so I was home waiting for 4 hours). He was very friendly and finished the job in a timely manner. He also pitched the company's bundled plan, but I felt no pressure to sign up for that right then and there.

They checked in with me and were here at the right time. The guy who came out knew what he was doing and did a good job. I got $180 worth of service for $89, so I was real pleased with that.

I liked the job he did . He checked for me if it was leaking and told me what he was doing . He also showed me where the float switch was placed so if A/C does turn on I can check for that first .

He answered a bunch of electrical buttons for me. They were great.

The service was terrible as the electrician did not do the requested work. He did not stay the entire two hours per coupon. Origianl Request: Check out the washing machine electrical outlet and plug and change them if needed; change out the electrical outlet for the dryer. We wanted the electrician to change out the dryer plug from an electric dryer to one for a gas dryer, so that we could use the both the washing machine and our gas dryer (with an electric pilot) at the same time without using an outlet adaptor on the washing maching outlet. This was our original coupon request. He said that we didn't need to do that. We had concerns, because we had to unplug the washer on occasion and it sparked at those times. We still do not feel that using the same plug with an adaptor is safe, so now we unplug one of the machines as needed. This is a big inconvenience and impacts our ability to do the laundry in a timely manner. The electrician also changed a ceiling light bulb. Although we didn't request a check of our electric panel, the electrician insisted on checking it. He found that it was okay. (I guess he was looking for the big bucks.) Since we purchased a 2-hour coupon, we asked that he check and change out our dimmer in the dining room. He checked it, but he said that he couldn't change it out. So, 45 minutes for changing a light bulb for $125! No more Angie's coupons; they are worthless! (Note: The original review was done over the phone and were incomplete. Since I didn't have problems with other phone transcripts, I didn't check this until today when I started to do a review for another provider.)

They did a great job. I had him for two hours and he did a whole bunch of things for me. He put in a hood vent and a thermostat. Put in a ceiling fan. And also put in a wall plug. I would definitely use them again

I got an inexpensive service and I like the guy so much. He did such a nice job that I called him back and got him to do one other chore that I needed. He was very competent, fast, nice and the prices were reasonable.

The workers arrived at the set time, analyzed the situation, and then brought in the equipment needed to hang the fixture. After hanging the light, there was additional time left ( I had paid for an hour service) so they proceeded to untangle some of the twisted lights on the fixture. I had not expected them to attend to untangling the fixture, so this was a pleasant surprise. When the hour was up, they packed up their ladders, being careful not to scratch my walls, and left. Very good experience with this company.

They quickly responded to my e-mail request after I purchased their big deal of $29 for a plumbing service call. We set up an appointment the next day (between 8 AM and 12 Noon). The customer service representative called 20 minutes before the plumber was due to arrive which was a nice touch. The plumber was friendly, professional and even put covers over his shoes before entering my home. He was very neat and cleaned up before leaving. However, it was more expensive than anticipated. I saw so many other comments about $89 for 2 hours of plumbing service in Angies' reviews. Of course, that is not the deal I purchased but could not imagine normal labor being more than $89/hr, $29 for the service call plus parts. Our bathroom sink needed to be replaced. We already removed the old sink, replaced the supply lines and connected the new faucet to the new sink. The plumber removed the old metal P-trap and replaced it with a plastic one he provided. He then inserted the new drain w/ plug that came with our new faucet. He used all of the products we originally purchased – caulk, plumber's putty and pipe dope. The first price quoted was $410 with an estimated time of 2 to 2-1/2 hours to perform the work. When I said it seemed too expensive, they immediately dropped the price to $299. The offer was only good for that moment. I felt pressured to make a decision . Since I took time off from work and had already prepaid $29, I told them to proceed. It actually took only 1 hour. The invoice was not itemized but can't imagine a plastic P-Trap w/ plastic tail piece costing over $100. Update 6/11/2012: I changed my review on price from D to A. Robert Peterson a Division Manager for Church Services gladly adjusted my invoice to a lower amount to correctly reflect the actual work performed. I do give an A+ to him for his quick response to my review. After investigating my situation, he explained the price book the plumber uses didn't have the exact code for what needed to be done to my bathroom sink so the labor part of the estimate was a little too high. Not every company would go to this length to investigate a pricing issue and contact the customer after the work has been performed. I feel very confident they will make the necessary changes so this will not happen to another customer . They do charge $129/hr for plumbing services. Which is good to know and a fair price to have the “peace of mind” it was done correctly by a professional plumber. Would definitely use them again.

Everything as described, Brook was great and attentive to detail.

From the phone call to make the appointment through the work done, it was very professional experience. Brook the technician took his time and was very through. The inspection revealed that there were some leaks that need to be taped up and he did that without any addtional charge which I really appreciated. He was very informative about the condition of my HVAC systems and gave me options on how to improve the air quality in my home. I would recommend them based on my experience.

We initially went with Church Services because their pricing was very competitive. The system they installed gave us trouble almost from the start, and their service department was extremely difficult to deal with. There were appointments they did not show up for, and they claimed that we just bought too "basic" a system to expect it to actually perform well. Their technicians continued to come out when our downstairs heated to over 80, and always found some type of an issue that they then claimed they fixed (which never turned out to actually be the case). We would strongly encourage others to not use them based on our experience - find someone else, there are lots of AC companies out there that treat customers with respect and that won't tell you your AC is too basic for you to expect it to cool the house!
