Both times, they were right on time and laid down some type of paper on the stairs and wore paper shoes to keep everything clean. They were very professional and efficient. They do all kinds of services including plumbing, electrical, exterminating and HVAC.

He didn't wear 'booties' as others described. He did let his sprayer drip on the the floor and I had to wipe it up. But he was profesional and polite - and didn't give us the "hard sell" - so that was nice.

The electrician was punctual, and carefully checked where we wanted the fan placed before starting. He did a great job installing the fan, both in the laundry room and in the attic. The electrician also verified how we wanted the electric switch placed and was careful to install it without damaging the surrounding wall. Finally, the electrician cleaned up afterwards. All in all, we were very happy with his work and will definitely work with this company (and hopefully, the same electrician) again.

As expected; we would use Church Services again.

I called Church Services based on several excellent recommendations on Angie's List. They were out to the house, looked over the situation, recommended a new unit, had it installed within a day and a half of the call. Also replaced two vent grills for free that had been originally installed upside down. Very impressed. Love these guys.

I purchased an Angie's List coupon for 2 hours of professional plumbing work by Church Svc's for $89. The gentleman that showed up was very professional and courteous; no complaints there. I needed to reroute a bathtub drain for a master bath remodel that is in progress. The plumber refused to do any work because I didn't have a permit. I'm not going to pull a permit to move a drain, sorry guys. I asked him if they have the same policy for electrical work, and he said yes. Which is a shame, because I also purchased the electrical work coupon. I didn't even bother to call to schedule the electrician. They may be great plumbers and electricians for all I know, but they refused to do any work for me. I'd really like my money back for these coupons.

I called Church Services and asked for a same day, late afternoon appointment. They were very accommodating. The Church Services technician tightened the gasconnector to the dryer and tested to satisfaction. He reconnected the water heater and tested it to satisfaction. He thoroughly explained what he had done and instructed me to call them if I smelled gas later on. I am extremely happy with the service.

The reason I used them is because they were very professional. They did everything like they said they would. We have had no problems since they installed it. When they installed our toilet they put runners through the whole house so they wouldn't damage anything. They did a clean, neat, quick job.

The service was fairly decent. The person was very professional and polite. I would recommend the service to others. He arrived on time.

Alex, the electrician, called ahead of the appointment as the company had told us. He arrived on time and was very professional, friendly, well-spoken and neatly dressed. After I pointed out how the switches worked, Alex clearly explained what he would do and answered all my questions. The wall switch needed to be replaced so he told me how much extra that would cost for the new switch ($10), above the work the coupon covered. He finished on time, leaving the work area just as he had found it. The fan works perfectly. It was the first time we've used Church Services. We will use them again in the future and ask specifically for Alex..

The electrician that came was professional and polite. He was on time and prepared. He did not try to upsell me in any way. He installed what we wanted and even completed an extra light within the 2 hrs we purchased. It was a joy to have such professionalism here helping.

We were given a 4 hour appointment window. Alex arrived about an hour and a half into that Window, which was acceptable given we are a good distance from their office. When Alex arrived, I told him that our baby was napping. He took that into account and made minimal noise. He was very personable yet professional. He did his work at an appropriate pace. We are very pleased with the work done. We will use this company again in the future and will request Alex.

The Church Services plumber took care of everything, and did a great job. He was polite, professional and efficient. All the work was done within two hours, and we had great piece of mind knowing it was done right.

The toilet was unstopped but only after two trips to our home.

Smooth process, pleasant and professional

The technician looked at the outside unit, and tested for freon. Then, he went up in the attic. He opened the attic unit and showed me that the coil needed cleaning. He also looked at the ductwork and observed that it needed to be sealed in places. That was all he did. it took less than 15 minutes He did not check the timing, which had been a problem in the past. He told me that cleaning the coil would cost over $300.00. I was shocked since other companies have recently advertised the tune-up and coil cleaning for $129.00. He then told me the unit was old and it wouold be better to replace it rather than spend money to have it cleaned. The unit was working fine, but he did not suggest waiting to replace it. He was very impersonal and seemed to just want to take care of business so he could get on to the next customer. I felt like he had just gotten his foot in the door with the lure of a "tune-up" so that he could sell me extravagantly overpriced products and services. I would not reccomend using Church's for A/C service.

The technician, Mo, performed the inspection and found a capacitor that read 2.5 mfd where the normal reading was 5.0. He advised me that if the reading dropped below 2.0, the fan would no longer run. Mo showed me the readings on both the old and new capacitor. I decided to go ahead and replace the capacitor. Mo was able to get me a $25 discount for being an Angie's List customer. My cost estimate includes the $49 big deal service.

Since the man was in the attic, I have no idea what he did or didn't do. Recommendation sheets with costs for repairs were left.
