everything went as expected.

They were on time and it took about 1 hour.

I usually use a different company and when I do, I literally I never see a live roach. However, there were roaches still all over the place. I had to hire the other company to come out and re-do it.

Entire visit was only about 30 minutes, so for $79, Church Services is doing well. Of course, things could have ten longer and the price would have still been the same. I was impressed with the plumber who came. I would, however, get other estimates before using Church Services to make sure their prices are competitive.

It wasn't an hour after purchase of the offer that I got a phone call to schedule my appointment. I may have waited or put off the service but the phone call made it happen right away. I needed my hot water heater drained and a repair to a tub faucet. Both were done professionally. I am very pleased with the price and the service I received. The plumber was prompt (very important to me), courteous, and very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Punctual, explained well, offered good advice. Offered an annual contract, but no high pressure selling. Very professional.

Good job overall. Found a bad capacitor on the condenser motor but the company wanted to charge $228 to replace a $10 capacitor so I elected to replace the whole system since it was almost 19 years old. I thought $228 was a little excessive. $100 would have been more reasonable. Doing some research, I found out that most A/C units use capacitors that have a wax coating on the inside and when it gets real hot in the summer, the wax melts and the condenser motor won't start. This happened to me almost every summer and the A/C companies replace the wax capacitor with the same cheap quality capacitor made in China. I guess that's how they make money and stay busy but it sure is a hassle for the home owner. A better quality capacitor made in the USA uses oil inside and this one doesn't melt and quit working. Lasts a lot longer. During your next A/C repair, you can insist on the better quality capacitor which is available at most A/C supply stores, and this will save you from future costly repairs and airconditioner down time. It went well overall and they did a good job. They cleared a drain for my brother. I called them first to have them come do an estimate to make sure the Deal would cover the work that we wanted. They we running late so I called them and they said they didn’t have an appointment for me. The receptionist was able to talk with her manager and they were able to get someone out but much later in the day. I was disappointed that my mom had to wait around for the appointment and cancel her errands. I bought the Big Deal anyway after the completed the estimate and they did work and I didn’t have to pay anything outside of the Deal

I called Church Services to take a look at the AC unit at one of my rental condos in Houston. They came over, did an inspection, and called me back with a quote. After they ordered the part, they came back and fixed the unit. Turns out that the part was not needed and the total cost was less than a third of what was quoted. Thanks Church Services for being honest!

The plumber from Church Services, Johnny, arrived on time on the scheduled day. He was polite, professional and helpful. He cleaned our kitchen drain, which tends to back up every 1-2 years, using his power rooter, for the length of the drain from the clean out to the main drain line (about 50 feet). He was able to complete the job in about an hour. We used an Angie's List Big Deal coupon while he was here at a cost of $111 to pay for the normally $180 service. Everything went well and we were very pleased with the outcome.

When I called them to set up the deal, she told me that the deal was for above $200.00 worth of work. All I wanted was the kitchen faucet installed. She said that if it cost more than $200.00, I would have to pay the extra. She said when they come out, they would tell me how much it would cost. I asked if they would charge me a service fee for them to come out for an estimate, she said "no" but that I would lose the voucher for the deal. I am just really disappointed. I don't feel right about it. I decided to get a refund on the deal.

The plumber arrived on time and put protective covers over his shoes. He diagnosed the problem and repaired it. Unfortunately the problem was not resolved. I phoned the office and they were apologetic and they sent out a new plumber the next day. He fixed the problem immediately. Very helpful office staff.

The service was fine. Technician tested all sockets, found and replaced bad sockets. Also the problems the tenants were complaining about was caused by a faulty television set.

Fine. Did miss putting in a part of the chandelier when hanging. Otherwise they did a good job.

Went fine. Tried to sell me on a fuse box replacement but wasn't high pressure. Did receive phone calls for a while on whether or not we wanted fuse box service.

Fantastic. Literally everything about the experience was great. I called to schedule my appointment, and talked with an extremely friendly and professional representative. The appointment was on time, and the technician was courteous, put on covers so as not to track in the house, did his work, and then gave me a summary of everything. Church is a great company, and I will use them again in the future.

They did a really good job. They are very responsive. I have worked with two of their techs and they are very good.

The gentleman that came out gave me an estimate but did not do any actual work because the quote began at a minimum of $700 to replace the valve and do a gas test. Then I was told that if the gas test turn up a leak we would have to turn off the gas to our house while he spent what could be hundreds of dollars to find the leak and then possibly thousands of dollars if he could not find it because then the whole house would have to be re-piped. The gentleman was really nice, but all I got was an estimate for what should have been a small repair. Instead I was given a costly unrealistic estimate for work that did not even need to be done. Who is going to open themselves up to thousands of dollars of cost to have the convenience of a knob. I think some of this could have been articulated over the phone when I told them that I wanted the plumber to work on a gas valve. They did not mention anything about a gas test. If that is their standard procedure and cost around $400 and could lead to thousands of dollar in additional cost, why was I not advised of that up front. It changes the whole scope of things and would have made all the difference what project I would have ask them to address for this deal.

They were great, showed up on time, and did great work.

This was at a lease home, so I never met anyone in person. All of my business was conducted over the phone. The estimator was courteous and knowledgeable. The workers arrived on the promised day and finished the next day. My tenants service was interrupted briefly and in Church's defense, they were unaware anyone was at home. Since this was recently done, I am assuming it was done thoroughly and correctly. I'll repost if things change.

The work was great! We actually scheduled for them to come out and do a much bigger project.

Cut way more holes in the wall than seemed necessary and found out later (when the fuse tripped) that the sauna is not on a dedicated circuit.

The technician arrived promptly. He removed two old chandeliers and installed two new ones within the two hour time frame. He ensured that he kept the area neat and clean. He vaccuumed afterwards! He was polite and knowledgeable. I will be installing a new chandelier in my kitchen one day and I will be calling these guys! Church does other services as well. They did foundation repair on my mom's house and a neighbor's. Still good service.

My husband purchased a plumbing coupon, $89.00 for two hours ofwork, from Churches Plumbing. We have 5 children,7 grandchildren and an old house.Someone always seems to be clogging something.Sure enough within 2 weeks I called them out for toilet problems,while the plumber was here I had him clear the french drains and a couple of little things. What a deal this normally would have cost about $500.00. He was polite,informative and cleaned up after himself( without using my white bath towels like another company did previously). I have used Churches Plumbing again for kitchen sink drain and have recommendend them to close friends.
