I had a pipe break in the attic above my living room. I called Church Services at 5 pm on a Tuesday. At 9 pm they called back and said the technician was still not available, so I rescheduled for Wednesday between 2-4. At 3:30 they called and said the technician was not available. I said it was ok and I would wait for him. At 5 pm I called and cancelled for that day, rescheduling for the next morning from 7:30-9:30. They finally showed up at 8:45. The guy took a look at the pipe and said it would be $1000 to fix it. I agreed because at that point I had already paid an AC technician a $70 service call fee and spent three days in the house with two little kids waiting on Church services. If I had declined the service because of the price, I would have been out another $70 and back to square one. The guy was done in 2 1/2 hours and still charged $997. Retail on 30 feet of plastic pipe and two couplings is what? $50 tops? So that means I paid $950 for 2 1/2 hours of work. In what universe does a plumber make $375 per hour? When I called and complained they were very kind and apologized for the three days I had to wait on them. Great. I still spent those days dealing with this and still paid through the nose. The guy didn't even insulate the pipe. Never again. Update- a master plumber from Church services called 4 weeks later and told me he reviewed my file and found I had been overcharged. Apparently, they are sending me a refund check for half of what I paid. I appreciate them doing the right thing, which he said is very important to the owner of the company.

He has done other jobs for me since. Mike Suarez is an honest and good man.

The service was good. They honored the coupon, and they were very professional. Everything came out great. I would recommend them.

This was one of the Angie's list coupons - electrician for an hour for $100 or $150 or something like that. The person who came was on time, he was very professional and as far as I can tell did good work. I would use this company again.

I was not at home, but my son said provider was very, very nice. Sink does have a slow drain, but I wanted it resolved, not someone to just tell me it was a slow drain He said toilets were normal, but still having issues with one getting stopped up several times a week. I spent $200 and don't feel like it was worth half that.

After discussing their assessment and the prices quoted to us (good, better and best options) we decided that we could not put out that much money at this time due to large medical bills from my husband being hospitalized twice in the month of June. I called and told Jesse, the "estimator", our reason for not replacing the unit. I told him we wanted to replace the fan motor and the capacitor and have the freon level checked. This was on Friday, July 5th. I told him that we needed a price for these services so we could schedule an appt. to have it fixed as soon as possible. He assured me that someone would call me back with this info. No one called back, so now it's the weekend and no one is in the office to answer my questions. I know because I called the office on Sat. and Sun. While we were at a Dr. appt. for my husband on Monday morning, someone called and left a message that the fan motor would be $700 and the compressor would be $1900. I called the office and told them that the prices we were given were not for the work we wanted done (fan motor & capacitor, NOT compressor). They informed me that the man who left the message was just giving us the info he was told to give us. After several more phone calls, I finally got a call back from Jesse, and told him about the price we were given. He said that we were given a price for the compressor because it was probably going to go out after we replaced the fan motor anyway. I asked for a price for the items we had discussed and he said "I'm just the estimator, you really need to talk to the service manager" and he gave me his phone number. I'm amazed that he can give me prices for a new unit but not for components! I called the service mgr. and left a voicemail. Not surprisingly, I did not hear from him. So I called the office about 4:30 Monday afternoon and told them I knew they would be closing soon and I really needed to speak with someone TODAY so we could get our AC fixed. I was told that the service mgr. had already left for the day. Needless to say, that was over a week ago, and I still have not heard from anyone at this company. Apparently, this company is in it for the big sale and if you are not willing to spend what they tell you is necessary, they could care less if you have AC or not. This is, without doubt, THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Now, after all the frustration and aggravation, they actually did me a favor. I called another company on Angie's List (AirCon) first thing Tuesday morning. They came out that afternoon. They replaced the capacitor and interestingly enough, the fan motor worked great after that. They also replaced a contact switch and filled it up with freon. Also, there is nothing wrong with the compressor. He checked the amps and said both components have a lot of life left. We saved not hundreds, but thousands of dollars and our AC is working just great. Makes me think that Church Services technicians don't know what they are talking about.

We had repeated problems on various circuits and fixtures, and Jeremy could not have done a better job. My husband and I were very pleased with the service.

Well at first it was horrible. The technician filled my old unit with freon with the suspicion of a leak. That freon last all of 15 mins and I was out 400.00... I got the manager involved and I got a new system and he gave me a discount...

He tried to repair a leaking bathroom sink faucet. It couldn't be repaired so he suggested replacing it. Also repaired a wobbly toilet. He had to replace the ring under the toilet and solder it.

I usually spend time with the A/C technician when they come out each Spring to check the A/C, but this time I couldn't as I had to attend to another contractor at my home. I showed the tech how to access the attic and left him alone after that. I haven't had any issues, so I guess that's a testament to the job they do. I also do my part by changing out the filters when needed and keeping the thermostat around 79 degrees while home and 82 when not home so I can save wear and tear on the system and energy.

Bought a $200 Angie's list coupon for plumbing services. I called them after I didn't get a bill to see what the price was. They told me that it has already been paid for. But I said that I wanted the coupon to go towards the repair and wanted to know how much the balance on the account was. But the office told me the coupon covered it all...no refund / no debit. It's odd that a drain clog costs exactly $200. I never got a bill so I couldn't confirm the labor or material costs...BAD BUSINESS CS!

Electrician was professional, knew what he was doing and efficient. Did try to sell service plan for all services offered by Church, but was not pushy.

I was so grateful that I was able to call about 3:15 in the afternoon and Eric was there in about 45 minutes. This is one of the most professional companies I have ever had in my house to any kind of work. I will be calling them for more services as the need arises. Although, he didn't do any work in my house today I feel confident that no matter who came to my house from Church Services I would be happy with the work they did and I feel like I could trust them when they are assessing the job to be done. Thanks Angie's List for bringing such a great company to my attention. I will be telling all my friends about Church Services and the great, professional people that work for them.

It stopped the bugs but I didn't continue using them.

Jose was very professional despite the few problems which were encountered. The fans were not easy to get down given how long they had been in place and the electrical was a little unique.

All they did was just come in and look and then give me some price estimates on doing different things. They didn't really do anything. It was more of an inspection that they did. The service they gave I thought was a bit disappointing because I expected more. It should have said, "An inspection" and that's all it was; they told us what needed to be fixed and what it cost. They didn't really do anything and I was really disappointed in that. I wouldn't buy that service again. The only service was an inspection. I thought it was a little costly for what they did. They were very responsive; I called them and they came out. I guess it was a misunderstanding on my part of what their service included. I thought they were going to actually do some things. They should have said, "$89 for an inspection service" That's the way it should have been labeled.

The job went very well. He knew what he was doing and was very professional. In addition to the original job scope and at no extra charge, the electrician also added an outside electric outlet on the same line. This gave me an outlet on the exterior of the home.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service. It was a complicated process because he had to tie into something else and drill holes. He did a really good job and I was very pleased with the work. I had no problems scheduling. I had another guy come out who could not do the work but this person had a can-do attitude and did the job.

In general the gentleman that did the work was a nice guy and tried to do the right things but (*&$ happens and unfortunately the outcome was less than ideal. The positives: On time, professional, low cost, and pretty efficient. The negatives: left a mess and kinked the vent tube in the wall so air does vent out properly. Both of the negative outcomes were a result of trying to accomplish the work inside of the 2 hours alotted by the the living social purchased coupon but....The end result was still sub-optimal.

It went very well. We received 3 proposals from great providers listed on Angie's List. All 3 were outstanding. We selected Church primarily due to their complete presentation and explanation of the work they would perform. The crew arrived on time on June 13th, and finished in approx. 4 1/2 hours. Church also inspects their work by having a quality control technician stop by on June 20th, and they verified the work.

My experience with Church Services went very well. Things checked out well and it was fine. They were on time and they did what they said for the price we agreed to.
