They were so professional and downright fair. They agreed we'd be better off buying a new fridge. They couldve taken our money and actually turned down work because it was not in our best interests to fix it.

We had an rather unusual problem. Our double wall oven was hit with either lighting or a power surge during a very bad storm. The oven turned itself on and continued heating till the self cleaning lock engaged and could not be turned off. We had to turn it off at the circuit breaker. The oven circuit board was fried and because it was over 10 years old, a new board was unavailable. Bud directed me to a company that could rebuild my board. I sent it off, the board was rebuilt and Bud came back to reinstall it. I'm happy to say the oven works great! I've used Champion for many appliance repairs over the years, dishwasher, washer, dryer, and refrigerator. All problems were diagnosed quickly, repaired efficiently at what I consider a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Champion.

He was professional and punctual. He was able to diagnose the problem after just few minutes and fixed it quickly. He is very knowledgable and explained how the ice-maker works and how to prevent future problem. I didn't expect to pay that much but it would have been more if the part had to be replaced.

Champions came to me from an Angies list client of mine(I am a Broker and also manage rental property) about 12 months ago. Have used Bud and Sue multiple times and can't tell you how happy I have been with the followup and overall experience! Latest repair today was on a home in Montrose with an older refrigerator, Bud was ontime, analysed problem, suggested a fix that would do the trick but not cost me an arm and a leg. Called Bud and his team this morning for a dryer that stopped drying. Bud was quick to respond and found out the problem. It ended up being the dryer vent and not the dryer itself. Bud did not try to scam or otherwise try and get more money out of me. He only charged me for the modest call charge, which was fair. Even provided a local dryer vent cleaner to contact. I will definitely keep him in mind should I need his service again.

Overall, Bud initially misdiagnosed the problem with my dishwasher, so it took a little longer to repair than normal as he didn't have the right part when he arrived back to fix the dishwasher. And then, there was a little difficulty in setting up the second appointment. But Bud returned, fixed the dishwasher, and now it runs great.

They came out the day after I called, on time and they called ahead to allow us to let them in the house. The technician was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the problem we were having suddenly cured itself when the technician started troubleshooting it. He did find the source of the problem, however. We were charged for the service call, but they offered to refund that cost ($75) if we decided to order the replacement part -- a fair deal, in my opinion.

We are very pleased with Champion Appliance Service, Bud Kowalski, and his family. We like that this is a famiy company, and they were very comfortable and professional to work with. I called on a Wednesday and spoke, I believe, to Mrs. Kowalski. I was able to make an appointment for Thursday that fit into my work schedule. As arranged, Mr Kowalski called before the scheduled time and arrived on time. After opening the washer and evaluating the problem, he talked with me about how much it would cost to repair the washer vs. just paying a nominal fee for a housecall and purchasing a new washer later. He did explain that our old washer was build well, but was very receptive to the probability that we may just prefer to replace a 20+ year old washer. I chose to go with the repair, and he had all the necessary parts in his truck. Bud happened to bring his young adult daughter with him who concurrently worked on cleaning and refitting (with her dad's help) the vent to our old dryer. We literally had two people working on our appliances concurrently. We were thoroughly pleased with the work the Kowalski's did. In fact, the washer is now much quieter than we remember it being in the past. We now have a well functioning washer and dryer at a very reasonable price. Ironically, our daughter's new dryer broke the following week, and we referred Champion Appliance Service to her. She was equally pleased with the professionalism and competence of Champion Appliance Service. I highly recommend this very friendly, competent, and professional family company.

Great experience, knowledgeable repairman.

I chose this small company because it stated they do not sub out their work orders. The owner himself was the technician - he called in advance like I asked, met me at my home, and correctly diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes. He said the part needed isn't cheap (it wasn't), but he could possibly get the part later in the day. About an hour after leaving, he called and said he had the part. Thirty minutes later, he returned, put the part in, and even looked at two oher appliances and did minor adjusments to them also. Altogether, it took about two 1/2 hours and the company exceeded my expectations. If I have an aplliance issue in the future, I will call on them again.

They were very knowledgeable and seemed honest and punctual. He called before he came and we were pleased with them overall.

I have used this firm on one than more occasion and have found them to be responsive, professional, courteous, and to do quality work.

I thought the service call turned out fine. Although he could not replace a thermostat in my type of oven. He did the job by fixing the existing handle, which saved a great deal of money for me. I felt the cost was very good to get someone out.

The company services all makes and models of appliances. We used Champion Appliance Service when we needed work done on our dishwasher. We thought they were fairly reasonably priced. They did a good job and it works fine now.

Champion specializes in appliance repair but does small plumbing jobs as well. Their technician showed up fifteen minutes early, and spoke about the job for a few minutes, then began to work. I could not do this without the proper tools. They used a foot and a half long wrench to tighten the faucet to the sink from below. It swings back and forth without any noise now, and turns off completely with ease. He did a great job for us.

My dishwasher gave me a problem a little while ago so I called Champion Appliance, and they were right out. I have used Champion for many years on more than one appliance, and find their prices very reasonable and servicemen very knowledgeable. Champion also did some repair work on my washer not to long ago and whenever I need an appliance repaired, I will continue to call them.
