CHAMPION APPLIANCE SERVICE

Turned out my drain filter was plugged with a sponge. But he checked every other possible cause for leaks even though we found the cause early on. It was very thorough.

We have used Champion several times. As usual, they handled out problem smoothly and professionally. Always a pleasure to deal with Bud, the Champion owner.

The company never contacted us to ask about henproject or give us a quote to repair.

The work went fine, but the price Sue told me I'd pay and what Bud actually charged me was significantly more. No parts involved, just 10 minutes of labor. I won't hire them again, but there's nothing wrong with their work. Just be prepared to be gouged.

Champion takes care of all of our major appliance problems. As usual, the repair went well.

The lady who answer the phone is the beat thing you could get, Budd came to my house to repair my oven, my house has white carpet and white rugs and I don’t allow shoes in my house for allergy and health reasons my daughter politely handed him the disposal blue covers to wear on his work boots he refused and left later he hang up the phone on me .. if you are not professional don’t be in business..

Technician replaced a drain box, took no time to replace, and is now the freezer is working perfectly. It was like having a very smart and handy neighbor in our home. Great customer service!

Bud was very friendly and I enjoyed having him in my home. Unfortunately, my less than 2 year old ice maker had to be replaced (Kitchenaid), but I feel he was honest about his assessment. I will use this company again.

He was extremely educational. It turned out that the problems were not with my machines. The dryer vent was blocked which was causing the clothes to dry slowly. The dishwasher had more filters than I had known, and I needed to clean them all to get clean dishes. He made a few other suggestions which have all worked well. He was here at least 30 minutes and came the day after I called.

He was on time. Actually got there a day early. Called before and was prompt. Very knowledgeable.

Bud came on 10/27/15 to diagnose problem with oven and discovered transformer in oven and breaker in breaker box was bad. He did not have parts on truck and had to order them and return the following day. He completed the repairs the next day and was very helpful on his recommendations on washer,dryers, & dish washers. During our conversation we asked him about our Jenn-Air stove top and asked if he had parts for it. He had them in his truck and replaced the burner, receptacle, & pans. Now my wife has no excuses for not cooking. Bud was very knowledgeable & neat while performing the repairs.

Dishonest and unprofessional service

I called on 2/26/2014 and requested service. The lady answering the phone said someone would come the next day but I wasn't given a time frame. I called next day and asked if I could have a time frame and was called back by But who said it would be in the morning. He showed up about Noon. He complained the whole time and said he would have to scratch cup the floors to get the ice maker out. Then he said he couldn't pull it out because the drain went under the house and he was NOT going to go under the house because he had a bad knee. We weren't charged because he didn't do anything and said he refused to go under the house. He said he would have a friend of his call me that could do it. His friend, Andy, called on 3/3/2014. He said he was in Sugar Land and that he would charge us a minimum of $150 just to come to Houston. I told thanks but I was sure we could get someone else.

I highly recommend Champion and will use them in the future. A small business that provides old fashioned honest, efficient, professional service.

They were very good at arriving in the window that they specified and were good at keeping me updated. They also did a confirmation call the previous day. The repair man came out and diagnosed that the coils were frozen. They some how got water and needed defrosting. There was nothing he could do because I had to defrost it before he could work on it. He explained that once defrosted, it may or may not work correctly that I needed to monitor it. As he was leaving he noticed my oven. It has a door that swings out instead of down. I told him that the door didnt seem to swing correctly any more. He looked at it and was able to repair it. I was very pleased cause it was one of those nagging problems that I forgot was there. In general the door worked but after he repaired it, it works very much better and seemed to seal better.

I actually don't remember if he charged us or not. If so, it was minimal. He was extremely honest. After checking our washer, he determined that it would be best if we bought a new washer, which we did. |I would DEFINITELY use Champions Appliance again &/or recommend him to a friend.
