Buffaloe Floors and Up

I got them off Angie's List. I loved them. They were great. They were on time and affordable. They worked hard. They did a good service. They were enjoyable to have around and I had a lot of fun with them while they were here. I did not have any problem with them.

I got estimates from three flooring companies with good ratings from Angies List. Buffaloe flooring was the only company that would provide and replace all the baseboards and move the furniture. I also liked that the salesman Ronnie showed me nice laminate but not the most expensive, and he seemed the most honest. Since the crews were on vacation we were scheduled in two weeks but then an opening came up and we were able to get it done earlier. The crew was polite and got the job done in a timely fashion. Our floors and baseboards look beautiful. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. We have dealt with many companies and contractors before to make improvements on our house and so far this company has been the only one to inspire me to write a positive review!

Please see above. It did not go well as far as I am concerned. They only had to reglue tiles that were loose and they weren't even tiles that were installed over the VAT. I am puzzled as to why they no bid when they knew the situation with my floors before they ever came over. Also I knew the vinyl plank that I wanted and told Ken the brand and style and he said that they had that in their samples and would be able to get it for my installation. He wanted for me to come to their store and look at samples (he brought very poor samples when he came to my house even though I asked him to bring specific types of flooring) and I felt that he was very much pushing me to come to their showroom. Selling up? I have worked in construction for many years in my past career and I know what is involved in a flooring job. I definitely feel like I was not taken seriously in terms of what had to be done. I also feel that perhaps because my job is not a very big job, they did not want to do it. Also, after Ken came over, I spoke to a friend of mine who had work done by Buffaloe Flooring. My friend was very unhappy with the quality of their installation. She had not recommended Buffaloe to me. I went strictly from Angie's list recommendations but was taken aback at my friend's experience. So when they no bid I was not really surprised and in a way was relieved. I do not want a poor quality installation. My job is not a big job but I deserve good service. I do not feel like I got that from Buffaloe Flooring.

Executed great communication from the beginning and throughout process. Provided free estimate in writing via email and phone call. Kurt arrived on time for estimate and Jose and crew arrived on time for installation. Hassle free. Kurt, owner, works closely with Jose, the contractor. First payment processed prior to job starting and second half process after job was complete. Job estimated to take 3 - 4 days however Jose and his crew (4 workers) complete the job in 1 and 1/2 days! We are very pleased with the customer service, professionalism, communication, and job we'll done! Highly recommended.

1. The people came on time; greeted and were professional 2. Checked the loose trim around the perimeter 3. Explained the reason 4. Hooked the equipment to start the job 5. Told the size of nails they will use - 1.75" nail, 18 BWG 6. They started to put nails with the help of air gun 7. Looked at the perimeter of the whole room and found some more loosed ends then what we noticed 8. Fixed the job. Checked for finish that none of the nails are protruding out 9. Help put the furniture back in location 10. Job completed 11. Total time to completion- 30 to 45 mins

Buffaloe Floors is a first-class organization. Larry was my contact, and from the minute I walked in the door through the installation of the wood floor, all went smoothly. The floor is beautiful and beautifully installed. I would recommend use Buffaloe Floors again and would highly recommend them.

Buffaloe Flooring came out to my home and provided an estimate for their installation services only since I had already purchased flooring from another vendor. I felt that their estimate was fair and they even included carpet installation (moving exisiting carpet from living area to a spare bedroom where we needed to add carpet to). They came out on a Monday morning, completed the leveling of the floor and then advised us they would be back the next day to install the wood. The wood installation was done the following day. The installers advised us not to place any furniture back until the next day to allow for sufficient drying and hardening of the glue. The floors look great and we're very satisfied with our experience with Buffaloe Flooring.

They were good, we were very happy with them. They were timely. They got the work done in a reasonable amount of time. We are very happy with it, it looks good. He responded to my calls.

Everything was fine from the first contact with the owner to the installers. They were very professional and courteous. The installers kept me aware of everything they were doing. The floors and the base boards all look very nice. I am pleased with the job they did. The only thing that was unforeseen was when they installed the flooring in the bathroom it raised the floor. The toilet didn't fit when they tried to install it. I was told that it was a quick fix so I said that I would repair it. Well, it wasn't. It took me two trips the the Hardware store and two bloody finger. Next time I will not volunteer to do something I am not familiar with. Ronnie agreed to take the charge for the toilet. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Everything went very well. Scott was extremely helpful. He made the whole process, especially making the final decisions,very easy. The workers were friendly and professional. They worked quickly and did a great job. I was very pleased. Communication and responsiveness were also excellent.

I couldn't be happier! We had the carpet on the stairs and second story of our house removed and wood floors installed, they did a great job and really worked to accommodate us and the critters so we didn't have to move out. I would definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with Kurt and Buffaloe Floor Covering. Kurt was always very responsive (via email and phone), easy to get a hold of, and managed to get my floors done in a short amount of time while still maintaining good quality. The floors look great and they did a great job. The pricing was overall good, although a little more expensive than some other estimates I got, but still probably equal to the work and service. I do wish the showroom was a little better organized, the person I spoke with didn't have a great understanding of all the products and pricing, but I still ultimately got what I wanted. I should also note that there was some extra carpet on the transition into the bathroom, and when I emailed Kurt he had the guys out there within a few days and fixed it without any problems. Love Buffaloe Flooring and would highly recommend them.

The installation crews were great for both carpet and tile and everything went fine. I felt relieved that my extra research put me with one of the best companies in Houston and that everyone at Buffaloe flooring from sales, administration, and installation crews were great. And, especially a big thanks to Ken who handled everything from beginning to end, with all my concerns on purchasing the right products, the best installation and making this home improvement go as smoothly as possible. I am extremely happy with my choices of flooring and especially with Ken and Buffaloe Flooring's pricing, quality and service.

Everything went smoothly from my first contact with Buffaloe Flooring. We were getting a townhouse ready to put on the market and were scheduled to meet our salesman Ronnie for an estimate. We live over an hour away from the townhouse, and after driving a long distance, I had the sinking feeling that if he did not show, I had wasted the entire morning. No worries! He was on time, and brought samples that fit the budget we had discussed over the phone. I have had quite a few floors installed over the years, and the installation crew did a great job. We had none of the common problems of missing quarter round, scratched pieces of flooring, etc. I had decided NOT to replace the kitchen floor, but thought I would ask Ronnie's opinion to see what he would say. Instead of trying to sell me additional flooring, he said he thought the flooring looked good, and did not need to be replaced. That sealed the deal for me--an honest salesman! The price was good, and I liked the fact that the estimate listed all of the charges for materials needed for installation. I will definitely use Buffaloe Flooring again.

The water heater burst in the attic, flooding several rooms and ruining the carpet. Once the insurance settled, we decided to upgrade the entire house with hardwoods and new tile in the damaged bathroom and the master bath. I had already found a hardwood that I liked by shopping around, and found tile at a retail store as well. Ronnie came out with samples and had the exact flooring we wanted and let us purchase the tile retail, which they don't normally do. The flooring and tile installers were very professional, spending a week at the house to complete the job. They showed up every day on time and worked steady throughout the day. We had some special requests for the tile-work and they accommodated us. They did an excellent job. Overall I'm very pleased with the work done and would recommend these guys to anyone.

Super responsive and knowledgeable. Ultimately could not use - could not get out of a previous commitment with another vendor which ended ok, but much delayed. I'll go with Buffalo in the future!

This company was recommended by a friend and I certainly understand why. Larry was my contact and he was outstanding! First used them to replace carpet in home I was selling. The workmen were professional, prompt and there were no issues at all. I then used them to install hardwood floors in my new home. Once again, the entire process went smoothly and I could not be more pleased. From top to bottom this firm understands the meaning of customer service! I highly recommend contacting them for your flooring needs. They have been in business a long time and their workmen have been with them a long time and they are very skilled. Great company and pricing is very reasonable.

From start to finish everything went smoothly. I found this company while searching Angies List and discovred they had a showroom quite close to me in Cypress. Enrique was very helpful as I searched for the right wood. My eventual choice was to go with the same floor installed in other rooms of my house. It was not in the showroom, but Enrique was able to get it at a good price and in a reasonable amount of time. The installer was delayed due to car issues but The company provided him a truck so he could begin on the appointed day. working with this company was a pleasure. The installer was careful, efficient and I felt comfortable enough leaving him to work in the house when I had to leave. The work was finished as promised in three days. This was a good experience. I would use them again.... Highly recommend.

Enrique and team are five star all the way! OUTSTANDING!! I had found the materials I wanted to install at Floor & Decor (tile and lamintate) and needed a trustworthy installer. The team was extremely professional, respectful of my home and held my hand through the entire project (6 days). I was able to describe what I wanted in tile (backsplash) design behind the range and put all trust in them to bring it to life. That evening when I got home it was absolutely perfect!! I recommend this team for any install and will certainly use them in the future!

This company is outstanding in every way possible: professionalism, installation, and customer service. I found Buffaloe Floor Covering on Angie's List. When Ronnie came out to give me an estimate, he brought samples that perfectly matched my description of what I was looking for color-wise for the laminate and color- and pattern-wise for the rug. He didn't hesitate to order larger samples of both, so I could be sure that what I purchased was exactly what I wanted. His installers arrived on time, were polite, and cleaned up after themselves each of the two days they were here. The floor is absolutely beautiful. I ride a small scooter. The transition the installers laid between the den and the breakfast room was too high, which created an uncomfortable bump when I drove over it. Ronnie couldn't have been nicer when I explained the situation. It was not a "That's your problem" response, but rather "What can we do to fix it" response. It took two visits, but now the transition is perfect for the scooter. The area rug is perfect, also. I did get three bids. One was twice the price of Buffaloe Floor Covering's bid. The other one was in the same ballpark as Buffaloe Floor Covering's, but I just didn't get that "I know what I'm doing" feeling from the representative. When Ronnie was here for his first visit, he mentioned that he had done work for one of my neighbors. I contacted them and their comments were as glowing as mine are here. I have always had good luck with the people I have hired using Angie's List, so the great reviews here, along with my neighbor's comments made my choice easy. I absolutely would use them for any future projects.

Did great! Called and talked with Ken. He was able to chat about the flooring and get me into the ballpark price before coming out. I like to do this because so many people charge (usually put back to an accepted bid) to come out and look/bid. You can spend a lot just getting estimates and waste a lot of time (yours AND theirs) getting quotes so I try very hard to give a good accurate description over the phone and expect a pretty good quite back at final estimate. So Ken said I didn't surprise him with what was going on and he didn't surprise me with a price..... He did the measuring quickly and efficiently and called to make sure of stock availability on the spot. Final quote came by email, as promised a couple of hours later a Indeed he was able to sharpen his pencil a little when giving the final price! Arranged late on a Friday for the installation to occur the following Wednesday and mentioned that the sooner the better would be great as the house is a rental and needed new floors before it was really rentable. Well Tuesday morning pretty early 8:30ish I got a call from Ken and he said their schedule had cleared a little and it could be done today if I liked. Well that suited me just fine and said great go for it. We set up access for the actual installers and a little later I got a call and saying they were there and ..... Told them to go ahead and start and I'd be right by. Upon arrival the workers were well engaged in getting the floor installed and fairly obvious that they knew what they were doing. Checked back a couple of times but there really wasn't a need. Let them work and stopped by a couple of times to check always going fine if just a tad slower than expected. The installer mentioned that the humidity today was making things go a little slow (leveling compound taking a little longer to dry and .....) but said no problem getting it done today and right. But it was obvious they knew what they were doing and doing it pretty well. I'd rather a little extra time and done right..... They finished by 4. Got a call and they were done. Went over took a look and it looked great, the leveling had been done well and the floor looked great, the house had been cleaned and there was a little extra for future patches etc. Now, of course, the work has just been done so of course I can't comment on how the job will last and this is the first time I've used them so can't comment on call backs etc. BUT AT THIS POINT am very very pleased with how this project has gone and at expect to call them again for my next flooring need.
