Saved us money by not 'overselling' to the top of the line when less expensive line was perfect for our purpose. Due to construction delays, we had to change installation date several times, and Buffaloe was very accommodating. Installation was a top-notch beautiful job.

Description of Work: had small 1 1/2 ft x 1 1/2 ft area of flooring of clothes hamper to be repaired after plumbing leak was repaired. They made an exception to their regular jobs taken on, & sent a repairman; I live close to their business. He did a great job; I'm so grateful and pleased

Description of Work: Called Buffaloe Floors on basis of a friends recommendation and positive responses on Angie's List. They came to my house promptly and made an estimate for replacing carpet in 2 room. Pricing was resonable considering that it was an "all-in" bid including all intallation and haul away of olsd carpet and pad. Carpet was installed on-time in a few days. Installers were professional and did a very good looking job with seams being almost invisible. I would definitely call them again if we need additional carpet or other flooring.

Description of Work: We had about 800 square feet of engineered hardwood installed where we previously had carpet and other hardwood flooring. The installers ripped out and disposed of all the old carpet (in 3 bedrooms and a hallway), and installed the engineered hardwoods in those rooms. Where we previously had hardwoods in our living room, they also installed the engineered hardwood on top of the old hardwood, gluing and nailing it down. The old hardwood floors presented some real challenges, but they handled it like pros! For instance, in the entryway to our living room, the previous homeowners had installed a raised wooden platform, which raised the hardwood flooring in front of our front door by about 1-2 inches above the rest of the floor. This had always been a real tripping hazard for people entering and exiting our house. The installers demolished that platform, finding a layer of hardened tar underneath, which they had to chip completely away, before they could level the floor. However, the installers handled this with ease and nothing was added to the quote in light of this discovery.

Description of Work: I had carpeting removed from the stairs to the second floor and from the entire second floor and replaced it with engineered hardwood from Buffaloe. From the beginning, the sales rep (Ryan) was responsive, professional and pleasant to work with. After looking at a few other places, I decided to go with Buffaloe because of the service, and their pricing was competitive with others. Also important was their excellent rating on Angie's List. That means a lot for any kind of service but especially for a job of this size. The installation I knew was of critical importance, and I wanted to be sure that there would be installers who had worked with them for some time and were experienced. I was very pleased with the installation which was professionally handled by two men who obviously knew what they were doing. Installation on stairs requires precision cutting and fitting, but they did a wonderful job. Everything fits exactly. They were courteous and showed up on time, and they handled all the moving and moving back of the furniture, which was considerable, for the upstairs. They even helped me put felt pads on all the furniture after the installation. Although my upstairs was in disarray for a few days, in the end it was well worth it when I look at my beautiful wood floors that are so much easier to keep clean. I certainly would recommend Buffaloe Flooring to anyone.

Description of Work: I emailed Buffalo Flooring through Angie's list. The next day Kurt contacted me and we set up a time for him to come out and measure the house. He was running a little late (curtious) for our appointment, but he called and told me so, so that was no problem. Once he arrived, he took measurements and left me samples of what I had told we were interested in (engineered hardwood). The next Monday, Kurt emailed me an estimate with various scenarios (this room, with that room, etc) just as I requested. The prices were very competitive and Buffalo Flooring ended up doing three rooms for the price of two from our other estimates. The day work began, we asked that the crew get there as early as possible and they showed up 30 minutes early! John and Marvin were our installers and we felt totally at ease leaving them alone in our home. They were careful moving our furniture and masking off items. They leveled the slab which generated a lot of dust but they vacuumed it up as best as possible. But be prepared for your whole house needing a good dusting when it's over (I didn't realize that would happen since we've never had floors laid before). The installation and trim work was excellent! All the cuts fit together perfectly. We could appreciate their work since we've laid our own floors in the past....We highly recommend John and Marvin for any wood floors.
