Kurt showed up on time and did a review of the work and provided me a number of options. He then provided a quote for the work a few days later as promised. The quote was well layed out and itemized nicely so I knew what each individual project cost (2 bathrooms and a kitchen). I plan on budgeting to have some of the work done in a few months time and will contact Kurt again to refresh the estimate. Thank's Kurt for all your help... "I'll be back" :-)

Kurt came to our house a day or so after we called to give us an estimate. They began the work within a couple of days, first on the bathtub and tile, and a couple of days later, on the toilet and bath fixtures. The workers worked quickly and very professionally. We were astounded to see our old grungy bathtub and tile look like new! The toilet and fixtures were installed, and we are quite pleased with all of the work. The man who worked on the tile and tub has worked for Bath and Tile Restoration for 22 years. His work was excellent. The second crew that worked on the plumbing was also very good and reasonable. We intend to use them again as we remodel the other bathrooms. Kurt even told us the best place to purchase new fixtures that would carry products that would fit in our old house. All around good experience!

Some parts of it were very good. They subcontracted one guy that we did not like. I think they kind of came fairly constant with their work. I know my wife had some issues with them. She was irritated with them about something. I know that their reviews were much higher and much better than our experience was.

The project was coordinated efficiently with a minimum of disruptions.

Once we made the decision to remodel the master bath, shower and sinks we bid out the job. We had 3 respondents who furnished bids, We selected Bath & Tile Restoration because Mr. Kirt Hoffman was so knowledgable and took the time to explain what his bid entailed as well as point out a couple of ways we could save money. He acted as our "general contractor" in selecting the fixtures, finishes and hardware needed. His suggestions on saving money helped us come in under our budget by more than $300. He made sure his team was on time and performed the work to our satisfaction. The job required some custom plumbing which he and his crew were able to accomplish in the time allotted for them.

As with any remodel in a 50+ year old house, there were issues -- plumbing, original slab under one bathroom, smaller doorways, etc. Kurt kept us informed throughout the process and his crew was great at figuring out creative solutions. Took about three months from ordering the plumbing supplies and tile to the final finish.

Initially, I contacted Kurt to clean the bathtub and tile for two condo rental units. We were amazed with the results of both; it is unbelievable. We had expected to totally replace the tub and tile in one unit. At the time of payment, I asked Kurt if he did other work as we needed to do some renovation on the vacant condo. It was not in good shape. My husband had recently been in the hospital. He was not in good shape. :) We needed someone who could facilitate the renovation of one unit with little to no effort from us. We were looking for someone to whom we could convey what we wanted, pick out the materials, and then not be bothered until it was done. Kurt took the job, hired the subcontractors, and the finished product is exceptional. Laminate floors were installed in over 700 square feet, stone floor was installed in the bath, and the kitchen flooring was replaced with new corner rounds throughout. The concrete slab was uneven once the old carpet had been removed, and Kurt's subcontractor leveled the floor at no additional charge for labor, only charging me for the materials. We had expected to replace the tub, but since Kurt did such a great job, we then wanted to replace the hardware; i.e., shower head, controls, and the bath tub spout. The homeowner's association for our rental units require a master plumber to do all projects on our units. Kurt's choice of plumber did an excellent job. The tile man took out the tile for the plumber to do his work and replaced it so that it is barely noticeable that the work was done. Kurt is my go-to person for the next unit that needs renovating. His subcontractors are amazing. I highly recommend Kurt to anyone who needs someone to take charge and get the job done.

I am happy with the work but I feel I paid to much.

It was a fair price for the services. They had a very competitive price. He ordered a tub, and it didn't come back in time. He ordered another top of the line tub for less money. They were very smooth. For both bathrooms, it took a total of four days.

It was great. They did a great job. The guy came out to give us a quote. We liked the quote. He was very punctual arriving. When he said he would arrive to give us a quote, he was here exactly at the right time. We did try to get another bid but then we just decided to go with him.

Things went very well. It took a little longer than expected, but they did an excellent job. The owner was always available for phone calls and follow-up. The tilers and painters were very good craftsmen.

Exceptionally well and we are extremely pleased with the outcome! Kurt offered suggestions and resources along the way which were invaluable. Each reference had just what we needed and their service matched his.

We’d considered numerous contractors and received 4 different bids but selected Bath & Tile due to their ratings (Angie’s List and BBB), recommendations and Kurt Hoffman’s personable attitude and philosophy with regard to his customers. He did not disappoint. I had a professional design that included some intricate tile work but relied on Kurt’s opinion when some on-site decisions needed to be made. There are always some surprises with major remodels but Kurt worked with me to solve these; he always had a “can do” attitude. He believes in making his customers happy and this extended beyond the end of the job when he returned to make an adjustment to the slope of a small grout line in the shower to eliminate a minor leak. All the workmen were very neat, courteous and on time. I have especially high praise for the tile crew (artisans and very meticulous in their work) and the painters (equally professional and did exceptional work). We were on a tight schedule due to personal plans (about 6 weeks) and even with some setbacks Kurt finished on time. There were minimal adjustments to the original quote; a few debits and some credits too, all reasonable. Bath & Tile was not the least expensive bid, nor the highest, but were competitive and we believe we got exceptional quality at a fair price. Having remodeled my kitchen and worked with other contractors over the years, I believe that someone who is responsive to your needs is critical. Kurt stopped by most every day, was easily accessible by phone and his positive attitude made everything go smoothly. We have a spectacular master bath!

Kurt Hoffman scheduled our first appointment within a couple of days of our initial call. He explained what his team would do, gave us a time frame to complete the work, took measurements and sent us an estimate by e-mail by end of the day. We agreed on a schedule for the work that was to start on a Monday morning. However, the team doing the tile repair called to cut out the tile around the shower valve on a Saturday morning so that the plumber could actually begin work on Monday. The plumber arrived more than two hours past his scheduled time, although he did call to tell us he would be later than scheduled. The tile repair team arrived at the same time as the plumber, thinking the plumber would have been finished so that they could put in the new tile. The plumber installed the main shower valve but did not replace the new shower head at that time which, we were told, would be done later. The next day, Ivan (with Reliant Glass) took measurements for the shower door and made his recommendations for improvement for the new shower door. The tiles inside the shower area and adjoining the shower door were completely cleaned and re-grouted. Once the tile was cleaned and plumbing completed, Ivan came to install the shower doors. (The doors fit perfectly and look terrific. Ivan relocated the door which is now much more easily accessible than the original.) When Mr. Hoffman arrived the next day to install the assist bars, he noticed that the shower head had not been replaced and that the shower was leaking. He called out another plumber who repaired the leak and installed the new shower head. To make sure that the assist bars placed in the hall bathroom would be in the right place for my mother-in-law, Mr. Hoffman had her try out different placements before settling on the perfect angle for her. Overall, we are very pleased with our "new" master shower and with the assist bars installed in the hall bathroom. The new tiles that replaced the area where the shower valve was installed were a near-perfect match. The tiles and grout were so clean they look as if we replaced all the tiles in the shower. The work was completed within the time frame that we originally planned and Mr. Hoffman was easily accessible via cell phone if we had any questions.

They were very professional, the reason we didn't use them was because the price was too high. They were very responsive and punctual, they were here exactly when they said they would be.

I was told by ARS leaks were due to shower pan, instructed to have replaced. Found Bath & Tile on Angies List, contacted them for quote and scheduled job quickly. Work was done very satisfactorily, however leak was not resolved and new plumber came in and was able to work with Bath & Tile. Leak was resolved by another ARS plumber.

Kurt and his team were very thorough. Kurt gave excellent recommendations for tile stores, etc., to assist in our design. His attention to detail is evident in our new bathroom. The tile looks fantastic and his glass guy did an awesome job on our door and corner shelves to hold toiletries. We have used bath for almost a year now and have had no problems with new plumbing. We would highly recommend this company.

The company responded quickly to my request for an estimate and worked with my schedule. They were willing to deal with me largely over email which was tremendously helpful. They explained the work to be done clearly, and scheduled the work promptly. They showed up in a timely manner (early a couple of the days). The work in progress looked very well done - substantial, sturdy, good quality materials. There was a problem at the end which related to the shower but not related to this job as it turns out (the original cast-iron drainpipe under the house has collapsed) and Kurt came out and helped me figure out what the problem was and offered to help me find someone to fix it - above and beyond his responsibility, I think. Overall - this was more than twice what I expected the job to cost but I believe that I received very good service and workmanship for my money, so I am satisfied.
