Showed up on time, performed all work as promised, cleaned up after job completed. Note to myself: Never install shower tile with a sand-based grout, it cracks and cannot be removed as plaster-based grout can be.

We recently hired Bath and Tile Restoration to repair and reset some 48 tiles in our family room. We didn?t have any extra tiles, so it was necessary to clean and reuse the existing tiles. They were willing to do this, and they did a great job. On top of that, they actually arrived early, which was just fine with us!

Kurt was great in going through the estimate and helped me determine what was necessary for my remodel. He gave excellent advice and was very knowledgable on what to do to prepare a property for listing. The remodel took approximately two and a half weeks to complete. There were a couple of miscommunications in the end, but overall it was a good experience. His personnel cleaned up after themselves and I would recommend him to anyone who wants a contractor with an honest estimate. Other contractors I contacted (including the highly rated ones on Angie's list) gave outrageous estimates in my opinion compared to Kurt's.

Kurt provided a very thorough estimate and his tile crew did very good work. The wood replacement was subcontracted outside Bath and Tile and that work was a little sloppy, but Kurt got the crew out to touch it up and the end result was very impressive. Their prices are a little higher than other quotes I received, but the company has very good ratings in BBB and Angies List, and is insured and bonded, so it is worth the price. I would definitely use them again.

They were very prompt, very professional and extraordinarily detailed. They were able to deal with the problems pretty quickly. There was a small mistake which they took care of and did not charge me for that. They really did a great job and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I contacted Kurt about replacing some glass brick in my bathroom that had shifted, causing the grout to crack. He explained that it would be roughly $1500, but not really worth the money. He told me that I could easily do it myself for about $30, and proceeded to show me how. He even gave me one of his caulk guns! I did not hire him for this job, but I greatly appreciate his honesty, and when it is time to actually remodel my bathrooms, he will be one of the first I call. Thanks a million Kurt.

I called him to tell him the nature of the job I was looking for. When he found out the price range, he decided it was not worth pursuing. He told me the minimum job he requires is around $350.

Our old tile had been placed directly onto the drywall, and when the shower door started drooping and we tried to fix it, the tile broke and/or came off the wall. B&TR came and took out all the old tile and glass, and their workman was the neatest I've ever experienced! B&TR acted as the general contractor for the tile work, the glass installation, and the plumbing replacements, so that I did not have to schedule all three. B&TR called me and told me when they would be showing up, and they did so when he said they would. The tile guy ran out of tile and had to go get three more tiles. I realized after he left that the tiles were a different white than the others. I called B&TR, and they had the tile guy out the very next day to replace the tiles without any argument or problem. It looks great. Their workmen disposed of all the old materials and cleaned up well after themselves.

I originally had a new shower stall built a year ago and that contractor did almost everything wrong. This left me with a leaking shower floor in under a year. So, this time I decided I would use angieslist.com to find a contractor who had a good reputation. That was how I found these guys. Overall, they were prompt. Showed up every morning between 8:30am and 9:30am. The guys who gutted the existing shower and rebuilt it had over 20 years of experience. They were polite. They pointed out things as they were working on them. They also did not hurry up and cut corners. The took their time getting the things done correctly. (This time I was there to check the materials and the underlying foundations as they were being built up). There was another underlying problem they discovered as they were gutting the old shower stall (A intermediate wall had tile stuck directly to wood and also was sloped incorrectly). This caused a cost overrun but the additional costs were reasonable considering the work that was involved. I have waited a couple of months before posting this review just to verify that there do not seem to be any issues but everything seems to now be working as advertised. They do warranty their work, so that is a huge positive too.

The finished product is very pretty and done well, but the lateness of the installer on both days was irritating. On the first day Kurt had said they would arrive between 9 and 9:30. I called about 10 and they were at the tile store having some problems? When they finally arrived (around 11) the tiler only had 2 drop clothes which meant I had to get lots of towels and rugs out to cover the rest of the carpet--which they had already gotten muddy footprints on. They encountered a problem with a very old, rusty pipe when they removed the toilet. They got replacement parts but had to cut out a piece of the sheetrock which I will have to get repaired later. The old pipe was not their fault, just an inconvenience. For the 2nd day I had told Kurt that I had an appt., and would not be home until about 11 a.m. He said he'd just tell them not to come until 11. Before they left the 1st day I asked if they knew about the late start on the next day and they did not. I told Francisco I would call him as soon as I was finished so he could come before 11 if possible. When I called him at about 9:40 he said he had to get his son and then come over so it would be about an hour. It took him 2 hours to get here. I have used this company for acid tile washing in my bathroom and they were WONDERFUL. They came on time and did not make a mess. My experience with the floor tiling was the opposite. I would never use them for that again, but I would recommend the tile washers without hesitation.

they were prompt, worked non stop and did a wonderful job. No mess was left behind. i am extremely pleased with the outcome. The 30+year old tile looks like new and clean as a whistle.

I thought that they were very efficient and very good in all of their work. They treated us very well and their work is great. We really liked them.

The job went very well. I would recommend Bath and Tile for any shower work. Their estimate was the lowest out of the (3) I had and they came in right at the the cost they estimated. Their work was great, workers friendly and spoke English, cleaned up every day before they left. Kurt managed the crew well and was responsive and polite.

Bath & Tile delivered on all of its promises. The work was meticulous. They always showed up on the appointed day and on time! Cleaned up after themselves upon leaving at the end of each day's work. We now have a lovely new master bath that we will enjoy for years with confidence of a job truly well done.

About a year ago, we noticed that we had a drip from an upstairs bathroom that we could hear in the living room. We even began to see a spot on the ceiling. The problem was, it did not happen every time the shower was used. After having 3 different plumbers come to look for a leak (which none was found) we decided to have the tile re-grouted. We called Bath & Tile Restoration and Larry came and gave us an estimate very quickly. When Alex was here to do the work, he pulled the caulking from around the tub off and water came pouring out from behind the caulking! He said that can happen with some caulking products. He told us that he would have to stop working and come back in several days. Alex asked us to keep a fan on in the bathroom, pointing to the bathtub so it could dry out before finishing the job. After Alex completed the work, we were thrilled. He used a special wash on the tile, bathtub and shower doors. They have never looked so good. Everything sparkled.

Kurt was very responsive, unlike several others we contacted. He got his estimate to me within a day and then had the workers start 2 days after we contracted him to do the job. We were in a bit of a time crunch, needing to get the floors finished before we moved into the house. We had already bought the tile and were having trouble finding installers. We found several installers who said they would do the job and never showed up. Kurt's crew was timely and their work meticulous. The floors look beautiful. We thought the price was a bit expensive, definitely more than other estimates, but ultimately you get what you pay for. They showed up, got the job done on time, and the floors are perfect.

Prompt response to initial inquiry. Work scheduled promptly. Workmen arrived on time and completed job in less time than expected.

We are very happy with the work completed. The crew was professional and the work was done well with meticulous attention to detail.

I clean our bathroom tile weekly but, it looked dirty and moldy. (I really think that the company that put it in did not seal it properly). My brother's builder used this company and he was pleased with their work. I did not comparison shop for this service. They did an excellent job and so far the tile looks great.

The man who came to give the estimate and the two workmen came on time. All were efficient and and polite.

Bath Tile Restoration did a nice job on our bathroom. They were knowledgeable and had good ideas. I liked that they were helpful and suggested that we have a bench installed for my handicapped husband. Their suggestions really made it much easier for my husband to get in and out of the shower. They were very professional and did a good job.
