Bravo Key & Lock

I called Bravo Safe & Lock yesterday and asked for an appointment today. Thomas arrived about 10 minutes early. He was very personable and spent about 1.5 hours in 104 degree heat installing my new gate lock. He was familiar with previous versions of my new gate lock and told me that D&D made a good product. My existing latch was hanging a bit, so he adjusted the hardware on that, too. He skillfully added some wood behind the exterior fence post to make a part of the interior lock mechanism that was visible less noticeable. He also added some screws to the old gate post to reinforce it. I appreciated so much that Thomas made sure that the new wood gate and the new lock worked well with my old fence post. While he worked, I asked him his opinions about various high quality security dead-bolt locks. He took a look at my existing locks after the installation and assured me that I already had high quality locks. He could have given me reasons to replace my existing hardware, but he did not. I respect Thomas' work ethic and integrity. I would recommend Bravo Safe & Lock to my friends, and I would use them again.

Thomas answered the phone and was the technician that came to the house. He was kind, professional and amiable. I was in an emotional state when I called asking about changing the locks on the house, but, he remained calm and helpful on the phone. When he arrived, he was just as nice. He even noted that I was calmer. He seemed genuinely interested in helping me. The quick process included enough time to make spares, too. I would refer Bravo to anyone. When I first contacted Bravo Key & Lock at about 2:00PM, and was greeted with friendly, helpful customer service and was told that a technician would give me a call in a few minutes to speak more about what I wanted. However, I never received a phone call. Once I got off of work at 5:00PM. I called back to complain because I wanted the services to be performed the same day. I was told that the technician would not be able to come out that day due to closing and when I protested, the representative told me that he would see if he could get someone out the same day. To my utter surprise I received a phone call from another technician that said he would be running late but he would make every attempt to come out - and he in fact did come! The technician that came out was really helpful and once we discussed in more detail what I wanted he informed me of my options and told me how I could get the most bang for my buck. He performed the job quickly, we tested the locks, and he left without any problems. The next morning when it was time for me to leave I had trouble locking the door and after about 10 minutes struggling to lock the door, I finially was able to do it. I called the technician back and he was surprised to learn that I had trouble and assured me that he would return to check out the problem free of charge. Once he returned he went back over the lock and replaced the plate on the door and while doing that I decided to add an additional lock to the door and he did this service and did not charge me any additional fees for coming out (which is something that they usually charge) and I only had to pay him for the parts and labor. Overall, it was a great experience and to this day I have had no additional trouble with the locks.

Totally did not expect them to do the work on the day I called. Jose was exceptionally professional and polite. Worked quickly.

I called that morning, he met me at the house in about an hour and half after the call. He had a great attitude. As went through accessing my locks, one of the handles was in compatible with the others. He changed the incompatible knob for free so I could have one key to all of my doors. He was prompt, courteous, and ensure the customer was happy. This was a great experience.

Thank you to everyone on Angie's List who recommended Rueben. I really appreciated that he let me pick the day and time to work at my home since I wanted a locksmith here right after closing. His technician Jose was excellent, neat and clean, and professional.

The whole experience was great. I showed Thomas the job and he did it without any other imput from me. I hope that the rest of our home remodeling goes as smoothly. (Aim High!)

There were 7 locks and there was a problem with one of them which he sorted out. They were fairly high. They came on time and did everything they said they'd do. They took the credit card and they didn't try to sell me on something I didn't want.

We apparently have an 'unusual' door in that the striker plate is longer than normal. They came out, measured, and special ordered a dead bolt lock to fit. They came out, installed it quickly, and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Very professional.

I had my purse stolen and my house keys were in it. Although I had another set, I needed to have someone re-key my house immediately (my purse had, amongst other things, my driver's license with my address on it). Jose was amazing. He came out and worked quickly and professionally. I would definitely use Bravo again. Good experience at such a stressful time.

We just purchased a new home and needed to get all the locks changed. We picked Bravo Key & Lock based on the ratings on Angie's List. I called in the afternoon and they were here the next morning. All eight locks were changed in just over an hour, I checked them all personally and all were functioning correctly. I will recommend them to anyone needing a locksmith and I will use them in the future if they are needed.

After calling the best rated locksmith on Angie's List, I realized why they were rated so highly. Within 15 minutes a technician was at my home. He was very professional asked where the door was located and within 5 minutes had the door opened without destroying the door or lock! The company took a credit card and was out the door, I still cannot believe how fast they responded, unlocked my door and gave me a receipt after paying by credit card. They are awesome!

I'm yet to call them back because I had 2 knobs that I was going to replace. They were really nice in saying that if I buy it from the store they will fix them for me so that I don’t have to pay another service trip charge or something like that. It was very nice of them. The guy was really nice. He said that when the builder had put these in, these 2 had some extra broken mechanism. He was very nice about it. He told me to call him before and he would tell me exactly what to get. I liked that they showed up on time. They had really good attitude and they were very customer focused. I haven't done a lot of lock work so I think the price was good. I have the door knobs in my car now and at some point if I drive by their place, I'm going to stop.

They were flexible with appointment times when I called and showed up when they said they were going to show up. The lock was fixed, I am just not happy with being surprised by a service fee after the services were rendered.

Whole thing was very quick and painless. Took him maybe 30 minutes, including a very nicely done rehab on the front door's mechanism.

Bravo Key and lock gave me an appointment on the day I wanted (which for couple of days from my initial call). The locksmith came promptly and took his time to get all the locks changed out. I would use them in the future.

Jose came out and first noted that the threads on the screws holding the lock were stripped, so he had to first drill out the screws and replace them before he could even look inside the lock itself. He then noticed exactly why the problem had developed. Rather than put in an entire new lock (which within 6 months would have developed the same problem), he went back to his shop and hand, custom engineered the central portion of a new mechaism so that it would not stick ever again. He then brought this custom made mechaism back, installed it, and it now works perfectly. He was exceptionally knowledgeable, courteous, and took time to demonstrate and explain in detail what the problem was and how he was going to correct it. He also honored the Angie's List coupon. Bravo Lock and Key is the best I have ever dealt with.

Very professional. Called when held up by traffic. When Kevin arrived, he quickly went to work. Even reset a striker plate at no extra charge. Would definitely use again.

Very good experience. Phone answered promptly and politely. Appointment scheduled for day and time I needed. Locksmith arrived on time. Completed installation of one new lock (required drilling), re-key of three additional locks, plus key copies in just under two hours. When I asked the locksmith about installing an additional lock on the front door for added security, he recommended a Guardian Flip Lock. He told me to google it on the internet, which I did, and agreed with him that it provides better security than a deadbolt. Although he didn't have one on his truck that matched the finish I needed, he showed me how to install it. I bought one locally and easily installed it myself. Was very pleased with the work and professionalism. I even received a $10 discount for mentioning I was an Angie's List member.

Great experience, professional and nice person answered the phone, sent out a locksmith within a few hours to meet me. He arrived on time and finished up quickly. Made recommendations based on changes I wanted to make, very helpful.

I had bought 5 set of locks to be replaced on our outside doors and was having trouble installing them because the sizes didn't fit, the screws holes were stripped and weathered etc (old house). I also needed them to drill a hole and install a deadbolt where there wasn't one. I called Bravo and got an estimate over the phone, asked when they could come out and was told they would send someone immediately, which they did.Jose was great. Very professional. Got down to business. The locks look great and function fantastically, way more smoothly then if I had installed them. I had a question about whether the cylinders were changed or just the pins (I wasn't at home when the locks were changed) and called Bravo. They had Jose call me within 5mins, he answered my question, told me he was calling on his cell phone and if I needed anything else, just call him back! Amazing customer service.

I called Bravo & Lock because of all the good reviews they received on here even though they are located downtown and I am located outside bell way 8 west. My experience was really BAD!!!!! I called them to install a new front door entry set. I took full responsibility for ordering the wrong entry set ( that is another story with the hardware store) I ended up with a extra hole in my front door, a right handle into a left swinging door and a front door that I couldn't open... and to top it all of he dared to blame me for it !!! He could easily have said " ..sorry ...I can not install it!".. I would pay them for their time. I had to refinish my front door both sides and get a new entry set which costed me more $$$$$$ ( I could not return because they had damaged it ) VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Please refrain from using these people's services, I would hate to have this series of events happen to anyone else.

Even though this was a Sunday on the Labor Day weekend, the phone was promptly and courteously answered and an appointment for later in the morning was made. The technician was currently on another job and he came as soon as he had completed that task. He quickly diagnosed the problem, made the necessary adjustments and repairs and left us feeling satisfied and secure. The technician's professionalism and courtesy was something that other service-based businesses should strive for and the charge, considering that this was a holiday weekend was totally reasonable. Great "five-star" service.
