Description of Work: Replacement of a 17 year old upstairs A/C unit I am very please with the service your company has provided in handling the installing of the XL18i Train system. Your people are the best. They took great care of the inside of the house removing the old components from the attic above the second floor. Because this new unit is so much larger, they had to trim two limbs from the Juniper so it would fit. They remove all the packaging that the components came in along with the two branches from the Juniper. The four men were on time and very polite. I am very fortunate that the 3 ton system that came with the house lasted as long as it did but more fortunate to be able to count on a Company like yours. I am warning you in advance when the downstairs A/C unit is in need of being replaced you will be getting a call. Thank to you and your people.

Description of Work: Bellaire has been servicing my a/c for nearly ten years now and the same serviceman has been working on it, so I trust whatever he says. He told me last year my twenty year old a/c was on its last legs and I would need a new a/c soon. This year was time. We both decided on the a/c that would work best for me in my condo. He and his team of four arrived 15 mins early on the appointed day and laid down plastic through the house to the bathroom where the inside portion of the a/c was located in the ceiling while two men worked outside to remove and stow away the outside unit. Within 3 1/2 hours they put down a new slab outdoors with a beautiful new unit, and installed the inside portion in the ceiling of my bathroom and swept up their mess (they insisted). I have guarantees on their labor and on the units themselves! My house is cold now and my a/c bill is much lower! I love these guys!

Description of Work: The people here are so nice. They always send someone on the day I call. In fact, the same repairman has been servicing my a/c for the last eight years, so he knows me and I know him. I think they are expensive but their customer service is the best.

Description of Work: Bellaire was very professional from their initial quote to the follow-up after the installation of my new a/c system. I had a number of companies quote the system, and they were actually one of the more expensive quotes, but I had a very good comfort level with everyone at the company I spoke with and they explained in great detail how they arrived at the quote and exactly what I was paying for. They installed the system in a day, and came back the next day to fine-tune it and go over the details with me. I have had quite a few bad experiences with a/c contractors over the past decade of keeping an old system functioning adequately, and had more than a little apprehension at the prospect of replacing the entire system. I'm extremely happy I made the decision to use Bellaire A/C, and will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a/c service. I would also strongly suggest that this is a long-term investment in your home and that choosing a contractor because they were the low bidder is a poor approach.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate to replace two AC units. The estimate came in $2,500 under two other bids. The guys who came out were extremely nice and did everything they could to get me a good price.

Description of Work: They diagnosed an AC problem (the evaporator coil was leaking, the compressor was frozen and the compressor fan had failed). They estimated fixing the problems versus replacing the AC completely. They then replaced the AC completely. The new AC is working perfectly and more efficiently than the old one.

Description of Work: Vandals cut control line and tried to rip out freon copper creating a huge bend/kink in the exterior feed. | |Rather than up sell replacement for a whole line, a simple re-weld, freon refill, and rewiring got us up and running quickly.

Description of Work: Bellaire Air comes out on time, fixes whatever is wrong with our AC, and charges a reasonable rate. They came out to our house (which is far from their offices), diagnosed that our issue was a bug that had died and was cutting off the contact to some essential sensor, repaired it, and charged us only $80.

Description of Work: Charles Devine came out and tried to fix our AC instead of getting a new one. After all his efforts it lasted only a few days. He came out and quoted us a good price and applied the repair to the cost of the new equipment. We ended up with a new unit , great service and good price. They installed it within days. We recommend this company ; they go out of their way to help you. Especially in the middle of the summer heat. We love Charles he is a great guy and he explains everything to us about the unit. Description of Work: Installed new furnace and Ultraviolet Light Air Probe Sanitizer. Polite, professional techs. We are on our 2nd annual service contract with them. They replaced our entire A/C system in May,2011; cost $5,700. ( Our A/C and furnace units were 7+ yrs. old and substandard buiders quality.)
