Description of Work: Sprayed reflective paint on interior roof and walls of attic and added approx. 12" of insulation to the floor of attic. Made a substantial difference in the cooling of our home.

Description of Work: Have use them many times over the last 10 years for air conditioning , plumbing, hot water heater and other different things. Always prompt to get any job done. May be a little more than others but will come any time 24/7 and stay till the jobs done.

Description of Work: I have an A/C service contract with ARS and they come out twice a year to check the heat and air. Very good service.

Description of Work: I use them thru AHS and my cost is always $75.00 no matter what they do. AHS is a insurance that repairs and/or replaces almost everything inside our home. Thru this service ARS will not come out on week ends or after hours.

Description of Work: Unclog the kitchen drain from the clean out. I called on a Monday morning before 8 AM and was told they would get to me by noon. Called after noon when no one showed up and was told someone would come by 6 PM. Called at 5:30 PM was told someone was still coming. At 6:30, service dispatch called me and asked if I would mind rescheduling for the next day. After being lied to all day long I reluctantly said yes. The next day around 9:30 AM, he showed up. He told me it would cost $200 to unclog the drain. I said what about the $69 unclog drain special that is being advertised. Then he said, Oh if you know about that then I will do it for that price. And he said if you don't mention those special deals that we advertise then we charge you the normal rates. He succeeded in unclogging the drain and was paid $69.

Description of Work: Set out by american home sheild. each visit is a set fee and any followup for 90 days is included in that set fee. replaced facets one tub kitchen sink replaced washers in all sinks and outside facuets repaired a leak at upstairs tub.

Description of Work: ARS/Home Depot were quick to respond to my enquiry. The ARS representative was knowledgeable and thorough. The price was higher than two other companies and I went with one of those companies.

Description of Work: Kitchen sink clog, They are wonderful have to your home. they have a drain cleaner for monthly use that wonderful! I would recommend them to any one!

Description of Work: I use them for most home services. Hot the cheapest, but reliable. They always try to sell me an upgrade (i.e. air purifier, fancy goop for the AC drain when bleach works just fine) but I'm a big boy and can understand the benefit of them which usually means a polite refusal.

Description of Work: Sent out a journeyman for a major stopped up sink in Master Bathroom. While on the job plumber did not know where to look to determine the problem. He said he had to leave to go to a more important job. Said we have other customers, you know. Said he would be back that evening. Did not return. I called and they said they would check with him. Next day I call the supervisor and he tells me he is not sure when they can get out. I immediately call another company that only uses Master Plumbers and they came right away and took like a total of 15 minutes to find the problem and fix it. By the way I had been with ARS for 10 plus years and was on their home care plan. This is not the only issue I have had With them.

Description of Work: There was a break in my pipes under the house. They had to dig under the house, repair the break and put in some new pipes. They explained the process to me, step by step, worked steadily and were very polite. I felt good about their work, even though it was a big job.

Description of Work: Refrigerator freezer stopped working. Called manufacture line first. they could not come until next day. Called ARS and they were at my house within 2 hours. Replaced overload and relay to compressor

Description of Work: The tech they sent to check the AC said I had leak and that I needed a whole new AC system. They sent a sales guy out and gave me bids. Crazy high bids. In the meantime I got a second opinion and there was no leak. 6 months later no AC issues.
