Description of Work: They came out and diagnosed the probem(s) and suggested I buy a new gas dryer instead of spending the money to fix the old one. I thought, however, that the fee for coming out was a little steep.

Description of Work: Tolan was able to fix my older refrigerator as it stopped cooling for the agreed price. Found out it was a fan motor that needed to be replaced. He even cleared the drain at no extra chg. Tolan was very professional he gave me both the Senior discount and the first time customer discount. |I will hire Tolan again and highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Mr. Strodek seemed very knowledgeable. When it turned out my washing machine wasn't worth fixing, he gave me several tips on buying a new one. I just felt $100 was a little high for checking the bearings on my washer.

Description of Work: They came, evaluated problem and heard history of problems with my washer. They recommended that we should not spend more that $400 on repairs because they considered the washer a "lemon" with some underlying problems causing the malfunctions.

As we have stated in past Angie's List members' company responses, it is not always about the $. The customer's washer has had "several" main electronic control boards replaced since its purchase in a very short period of time. This washer should have been categorized as a "lemon" and quickly replaced by the manufacturer without hesitation several years ago. Due to the appliance's past unreliable history, age and the lack of a manufacturer's existing warranty, we recommended the purchase of a new washer rather than its repair. Description of Work: Service was under warranty. I had to wait for the first visit. Then I had to wait for part. Then I had to wait for second appointment. All in all it took a month to get my oven fixed. The service man was very nice and the oven was fixed. The person on the phone was nice but they were just too busy to give me attention in a timely manner.
