Description of Work: Tried calling, but you have to go to those website to schedule a repair, and it takes up to 24 hours before someone calls back. I don't have time to wait for that when my freezer isn't working. Called the next company on the list and got an appointment for the next day within minutes.

Description of Work: They attempted to repair a refrigerator but the problem was unrepairable and I had to purchase a new refrigerator. I was billed labor for the time spent trying to diagnose.

Description of Work: Recommended replacing but offered to deduct service call charges from bill if o did choose to repair. Very professional and spent time and gave excellent advice. I would use again!!

Description of Work: My Samsung refrigerator needed two sensor boards and the ice water led component also needed to be replaced. Although I will never buy a Samsung refrigerator again, since it is only a little over two years old, Tolen from ApplianceService of Houston did a wonderful job. His customer service was above and beyond.

Description of Work: Replaced a leaking evaporator coil in my Sub Zero refrigerator. Part needed to be ordered, was delivered the following morning and used to repair the unit the following afternoon. Serviceman came late in the afternoon two consecutive days to get the job done. Job was costly at $1,800 ($600 for part, $600 for refrigerant and $600 for labor), but it's been a while since I've had my refrigerator serviced.

Description of Work: Excellent service, showed up exactly on time, made an initial call that said the motor on my dryer was broken and needed replaced. I paid up front for the new motor and then when the repairman was changing the motor out he noted that the motor in fact was not burned out it had something blocking it's proper working that was causing it to fail. He immediately notified me that a motor wasn't required and refunded me the cost of the motor and some labor, excellent job and will definitely use this provider again.

Description of Work: They communicated with me about my problem and then they gave me an estimate of what it was going to cost for 2 possible scenarios. Based on the info they provide we decided to purchase a new appliance rather than invest a lot of money on one that already had some age. This info and evaluation cost us nothing and was done to save us money. The next time I need service they will be our go to guy!

Description of Work: Last year, Appliance Services of Houston came and worked on our dryer. It was a couple hundred bucks - can't exactly remember. Based on my experience then, I would have rated them all As. We had a dishwasher issue develop in November and when I reached out to use them again I was told their offices were closed that week (not a holiday week that I remember). I was also told to look elsewhere for service. It was as if they didn't want my business so I took it elsewhere.

Description of Work: Not sure on the date since it has been months. Thought icemaker was failing, but just ice buildup was the problem. Very courteous man. Seemed to know his way around a refrig, but this was not a complex problem. Would use him again.

Description of Work: When I called and informed Tolen of the problem with my dishwasher I felt he asked me the right questions besides just what problem I was having with my dishwasher so he could provide sound advice on whether I should try and repair or just replace the dishwasher. I decided to proceed with trying to repair. Tolen did a great job of keeping me informed of the repair process and sending a picture that showed the actual damaged caused by a seal leak. We had discussed before the repair process started that if I decided not to continue to continue with the repair that they would keep the dishwasher and I would not be charged. Since the cost for repairing was going to be more than just replacing the dishwasher, I cancelled the repair. Since Tolen explained to me upfront my options and kept well informed of the issues with my dishwasher, this was one of the best experiences I ever had and will be contacting Appliance Center of Houston again if I ever need an appliance repaired.
