They arrived on time, asked what we wanted, and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves. Would use them again and recommend their services to others!

I purchased the $99 coupon for 20 windows. I have oversized windows so I expected to have to pay extra since larger windows count as two windows. I was satisfied with the cost of the extras. However, I called nearly a week in advance to schedule service on the following Monday to coincide with my only day off. I was told the crew would arrive sometime between 11am-2pm. It was further explained to me that there is a very strict 24-hour cancellation policy, which would be 72-hours for me, since they close early Saturday, are closed on Sunday and my appointment was on a Monday. However, I received a call Monday morning letting me know that the crew-leader made a doctor appointment so they would not be able to keep the appointment. (The crew later told me they had never recieved the scheduling email from America's Best, so they didn't think they had an appointment). I rescheduled for the following Monday 11am-2pm. When they had not arrived by 2:30, I called their office. I learned I wasn't even on the schedule, even though they were the ones who called to reschedule in the first place! I told them that I would either need to get a refund for the coupon or they needed to provide a discount on my extra windows, since I had already taken two days to wait at home for them. After a long hold, they offered to clean my screens at no charge. That would be great, except I don't have any screens. After another extended hold, they offered $20 off. I was scheduled for the third time on a Monday, between 11am-2pm. They arrived at 2:00. Even though I had described my windows to the scheduler, the crew arrived with a short ladder and was only able to complete about 1/4 of the work. They asked if they could return the next day with a taller ladder. The office called later to confirm that, as long as other appointments didn't conflict, I would be at the beginning of their schedule, which started at 8am. I rearranged my schedule to be home on a Tuesday. They arrived at 11am. I was hopeful since they brought several more people. Unfortunately, the ladder still wasn't quite tall enough for them to do a great job, which was disappointing since they had now seen my windows and could assess it for themselves. The quality of the work wasn't terrific. I still have streaks and drips and missed spots. It's better than it was, but that's less than I was hoping for with the incredible hassle and number of hours I spent waiting for no one to show. I would not wish the frustration on anyone. Pay a little more (without the coupon, it would have been way overpriced) and save yourself three days of missed time. ************ I would like to respond to the provider response below so there is no misunderstanding. True -- it was clear that my 3rd and 4th story windows would not be able to be cleaned. Not a problem. As discussed, my 3rd and 4th story windows didn't get cleaned at all. I didn't ask for them to be cleaned, understanding this was out of the scope of their service. They had to return with a ladder tall enough to reach my 2nd story windows and were still unable to effectively clean them. My second story windows were not fully cleaned, even at the normal height. I simply wasn't satisfied with the outcome given the amount of time I wasted.

The 2 ladies did a good job for the work that they performed, but I expected a deep clean to include cleaning ceiling fans, baseboards and the top of the refrigerator. These items were not cleaned.

They came to the appointment on time, a mother and a son. The mother explained to me that the Big Deal covered only 20 windows, the extra window costs $5 each to clean, and my house has many more windows than 20, but the lady gave me some discount with those extra windows. The mother did most of the work, the son was helping around. Another son joined the team later and speed up the cleaning. It took them more than 2 hours to complete the job, and my windows looked shiny. I enjoyed the bright window after the cleaning. I liked their work, and enjoyed the bright look of those windows.

What nice people! They were punctual, hard working, and very pleasant. They did a great job very quickly and I was pleased with the results.

The Tech showed up on time and it was really hot outside he worked really hard and was extremely polite. We will use them again and again. Great Job!

Scheduling went well. Unfortunately, there was some damage done to our newly placed guttering from a ladder. However, the process of getting the guttering mended was timely and hasslefree. Overall, we had a good experience with AMW.

It went very well. They responded quickly when I purchased the coupon and did a good job.

Terribly. They have now missed two appointments.

The windows were washed while I was at work so I have no idea how long they were there and if they were on time. The windows still looked dirty and I wondered if they were even done. I would assume that this company is professional but they damaged several of the screens on the outside of my windows which I now have to repair. This was definitely not worth it since it ended up costing me money. I will not use them again. I don't remember the exact date of service so I used April 1 - the joke's on me.

My experience was great. However, the $99 only covered about half of the windows of my home. They were excellent.

Was rescheduled from original install date by company. Installer was 2 hrs late, but was good to call to inform of delay. Was professional with installation. Would use again.

This company apparently subs out work to local cleaning services, which is fine by my as long as the work is completed according to what they advertise. The girl who did the cleaning was late, hence the ding on the punctuality rating. Again not too big of a deal since I wasn't waiting on her and I work close by. However, the work she did was average and certainly not a deep clean by any stretch, she definitely could have done a much better and more thorough job. Additionally, and this is the biggest issue, she was there for THREE hours. Not EIGHT hours which they were advertising. I know this because I asked her to text me when she was leaving. I contacted the company about this to see if they could have somebody come out to do an additional cleaning to make up for the FIVE hours that we didn't receive and they said that I waited too long to contact them so couldn't substantiate my claim (holidays and a newborn baby take precedent over a cleaning job complaint). I wasn't aware that good customer service had an expiry on it but apparently that is the way this company operates. I would never use this service again and would not recommend them even a little. I paid $185 for a 3 hour cleaning job that was not very good, it was a real rip-off.

They no showed or rescheduled 3 times. I just want a refund.

It took awhile to determine exactly what exceptions there were over the phone. If a screen were bent, it would have to be replaced at a cost of about $40 each. After we identified 5 that just needed rescreening, they cam as scheduled & took the screens back to the shop. They returned a day or two later to re-install them. All went smoothly.

They arrived on time and were very nice and explained what the coupon included. I needed a few more windows done, so we reviewed what was actually needed and I used a different special rather than the one I scheduled. It was very reasonable. THey completed their work in a timely manner. I felt very comfortable with the people doing the work and they did a very good job.

The cleaners showed up in the time frame, and even called to say they were stuck in traffic; nevertheless, they made it on time. And the good news stops there. We have mini blinds in every room of our house. What we wanted was the blinds cleaned, the woodwork cleaned above them, and if possible, if any time was left, the ceiling fixtures/ceiling fans cleaned. We realized this last item was a long shot given the time frame. Although we had made it very clear, REPEATEDLY, to the main office what we wanted, the cleaners seemed to be under the impression that they were there for a normal house cleaning; they brought in a vacuum, etc. My husband explained what we wanted; only one of the two cleaners spoke English, but she understood. My husband left the livingroom (lots of blinds in that room), came back a few minutes later, and found one person dusting the mantel (!!!!), and the other wiping dog prints off the windows. These are both easy jobs that we don't need to pay for. He corrected them and directed them back to the blinds--about FOUR TIMES. They obviously did not want to do the blinds. They finally did an OK job--except things like this: We had one of the kitchen window blinds pulled up halfway. The cleaner cleaned the top half. She did not lower the blinds to clean the lower half, until my husband checked and made her come back and do it. It took the entire time to do the blinds, no woodwork above them. They are, in fact, clean--and one set is now broken, but we can't prove it is their fault, as that particular set is very old. Overall impression? MEH! /.;;;;''''''

Hung Christmas lights on front of house- All criteria were met- brand new light on reel ( to make it easy) house size was within the parameters too.

I bought the deal and both of the times(2 weeks apart) we had scheduled for the cleaning I received a call approximately 1 hr into the agreed window telling me one of the cleaners(same couple each time) was sick and wouldn't be able to make it. I then had to call the main office to reschedule but in both cases the main office was unaware the cleaner was sick. We still need to schedule the 3rd attempt but I do not feel I should have to try quite this hard to use the service if it was a truly professional business. I have no feedback yet on how good a job they did but to this point my experience with the company has been negative.

The workers were easy to be around. They were careful and considerate, and they did a great job. I was disappointed when I called them back a few months later, wanting to hire them for additional work, and they had moved away from Houston so were no longer available for hire.

Sold as Detail Cleaning. Barely average housekeepers. $185 to dust library shelves. First Supervisor arrived with two cleaning ladies and a child. Only the supervisor spoke English. He left almost immediately. Second Supervisor (driver?) arrived 3hrs later to pick the crew up. Not at all what I expect from Angie's List. In fact, I joined Angie's List to avoid sevice providers like this.

Service was ok. Used string mops on floor so left string debris. Still had some dirt/footprints on the floor and the floors were my biggest concern in the cleaning jobs. Spent more time on one floor so spent less time on other 2 floors since I did not want to pay any extra dollars other than the coupon value. Women were very pleasant and nice. Did not think the cleaning was what I expected but I have found it hard to find anyone that will clean as good as you really want it. Which is why I said the service is adequate.

Two women came and cleaned for 4 hours. I made a list as requested and explained to them what I was most interested in having cleaned which were my tile floors. I told them to just clean around areas where I still had some clutter. Instead they spent time re-stacking some of the cluttered areas, and they moved some things around so I had to spend time looking for them. They did move furniture to be sure that they vacuumed all the carpet and swept all the tile. However, they left mopping the floor until the end and then just did a somewhat cursory cleaning of the tile floors. The house is cleaner than it was before, but I would not pay full price for this service.

The screens were bend a little so they were not able to do the work, and one was missing so it would be a lot more money than I wanted to spend.

I purchased an Angie's list deal for 2 hours of holiday light hanging for $99. I felt 2 hours was sufficient since the guys that put up our lights last year took less than an hour. Scheduling was easy as it was done over email; they were very prompt in their replies. This was the first year this company (who also does window cleaning and house cleaning) offerred holiday light hanging, and the inexperience showed. When the guy came out to hang our lights, he didn't have a ladder tall enough to do the job. He was able to hang the portion of lights above our garage, which is one-story, as he waited for his dad to arrive with a taller ladder. Just that small section of the house took him over 2 hours. My husband has been able to do that section by himself in less than an hour in previous years. The guy's dad was not able to come out with a second ladder that day, so they rescheduled to come back another day and finish the rest of the house at no extra charge. They came back out as promised, and the rest of the house took another 2+ hours. I would not have been happy if they charged extra for the additional time because I know other companies can do this job in less than 2 hours. I noticed that these guys did not attempt to get on the roof, which slowed down the installation process because they could only hang just a few feet of lights until they had to climb back down and move the ladder over. In the end, the lights got installed in time for the holidays for less than $100.
