Description of Work: UPDATE: received return call & i was never put on the calendar which explains why they did not show up. Still an F until they to the work in April. Was supposed to have 20 windows cleaned but THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! No phone call to explain either. Have left voicemail & email requesting credit.

Description of Work: I pre-purchased a window cleaning package from Angie's list. After I made numerous calls to try to get the service scheduled, I gave up. The company never called me back to schedule the appointment. Very disappointed in a service that was purchased in advance. I won't do that again.

Description of Work: I used America's Best due to their special offer through Angie's List. I booked the 4 hour clean on December the 13th, to be carried out on January the 8th. I did this as I really wanted just to be able to take down my Christmas decorations and have someone else clean the house. On January the 3rd I received a phone call that America's Best had just realised that their Houston office wasn't open on January the 8th. Not only that but the first available opening was on January the 18th. Although the person on the telephone was polite and apologetic I found it disappointing and unprofessional that this company could take my money and accept my booking and then be unable to carry it out as promised with almost a month's notice. When I did eventually manage to get my house cleaned, the cleaners were punctual, industrious and professional. They worked without a break for the whole time they were here and completed everything on my list - even in the order of priority. Therefore whilst I would definitely use these cleaners again, I am unsure about whether I would trust the company.

Description of Work: We bought 10 sets of Christmas icicle lights for the arches on our roof. The team that was supposed to arrive at 10 AM showed up at noon. If you are taking off of work to be at home, you need to emphasize promptness with the company. I thought they did a decent job of hanging icicle lights on my roof. But the first windy day blew several of the icicle lights up on the roof so they were no longer draped and hanging. Although we have a six foot ladder, it is not tall enough to reach the arches on the house. The second windy day, some of the clips blew off and a strand of lights blew down, dangling over the front porch, which ruined the look. It's still like that now, as they won't return to take them down until early January. As I look down the street, I notice other homes with icicle lights look just fine. So we are disappointed in our first try on Angie's List.

Description of Work: I bought a promotional coupon for window cleaning. Upon arrival, the crew immediately said my windows were not standard size and wanted too charge me more. I asked them what standard size is and they could not give me an explanation they just insisted my windows were not standard and that they wanted more money. I meet them at lunchtime and being a business person I had to get back to the office so I did not have all afternoon to argue with them. I just told them to clean whatever windows they felt were included in the coupon I bought. They cleaned a few windows and then told me they would come back. They never came back.

Description of Work: This was one of Angie's Groupon look alike deals, which I'm not really too keen on although I've applied for a couple. The company would have gotten all A's if they were a bit more organized on the phone. My wife had to make 2 or 3 calls to get everything set up. They wash windows, kind of hard to screw that up.

Description of Work: Scheduled an appointment. They called after the appointment time to say they were on there way. at least an hor away.That didn't work for me. Rescheduled for another day. Three hour window on the appointment. I called to confirm. They called to say they would arrive in an hour. Two hours later they called again to say they would be here in an hour. They diidnt appreciate my disappointment and told me to get my money back if I didn't like it. Jerks, unprofessional. I missed work the fist time and again the second time waiting on them. Why would you represent a company like this?
